Hey Sam, around 20:35 when you’re talking about needing to use Maman’s ult, then 2, then dash into them, do keep in mind that your ult also applies the mark (I’m almost sure), so you don’t need to use the two before dashing in!

I'm pretty much strictly a conquest player but the bancrofts v pendant argument shouldn't even be an argument at least in duel just from a numbers perspective. Your abilities hit twice as hard and you get hp back which allows you to pressure the map because you don't have to back. Sure pendant wins the war of attrition but in duel it's less important because you have the luxury of backing more than in conquest. The REASON pendant is so good in conq is because more abilities means more damage and if you force a back OR you get a kill because they can't back or they give something up, the map is too big to reliably and/or consistently get a contest on objectives from the time it takes to back and run all the way back to the obj. I'd value burst more in duel because of the smaller map and if you don't kill them they just back and come back and fight you again with less consequence than in other modes. I should try duel again but my favorite part about smite and mobas in general are the niches that characters fit into in the 5v5 modes and how they function together. Maybe someday.

sam, did you know you can right click while your 'possessing' someone with maman's 3 and it will just pop you out right next to them instead of dashing away from them, not sure if its optimal but its definitely scored me some free kills before

U can cancel the second dash on maman so u can dash in and cancel to be right next to them for another auto this makes poly crazy on her
I max 1,4,2,3 makes it feel like I do way more than when I use to max the 3
Chronos pendant is for when ypu want to play the late game.
For example a good bakusura is just unfightable . He can just ult the kraken and then it's the end .
I prefer bancroft for the power it gives to ur auto on the 2 tho
