    2024..so new to woodturning..I did notknow I was using traditional tools and I love using both tools used today. I agree pratice..

      Thank you. You just got to grab some wood and go for it. There will be a few really good lessons right away (aka broken ones) but you will absolutely get better with time.

    Wonderful video - clear and helpful. I'm on practice finial #7...93 more to go? I notice that your spindle gouge is much more swept back with a more sharper point - I think I will sharpen mine more like yours
