Bro, the under armor tri-base 3 are the best training shoes out there. they are so comfortable, the rubber is so grippy, they’re tough and there’s no heal slip
I agree with you. I bought the Tribase 2 and I was a Metcon freak and this shoe put those metcons to the side. Love the way the foot gets wrapped, very firm for liftings and very grippy for rope climbs.
Super good review!! I have a pair of these and have been wearing them for about 2 weeks , I don’t know if you can relate but the lateral side of both of my feet are super sore and have been giving me some issues. The only thing I have changed is these shoes so I’m chalking it up to them being the reason !
I'm usually a size 9 in Nanos and went half a size down (8.5 Men) as you recommended. It feels snug and did my first wod today and it is the same. Removing the insole helps a bit. Any recommendation other than using it for a couple of weeks if it doesn't break up? Thanks
Did the same - ordered 10s and after two weeks decided to swap for 9.5 because 10s felt a bit too loose. 9.5 feels short though (my finfger is almost touching the end of the shoe). Also I feel some tightness in the midfoot. Did yours break in after a while?
So you would recommend sizing down even compared to other X1s? I have a black and gum pair of X1s in size 11.5. Would you suggest going with an 11 in the Froning X1s?
So where would you rank the Haze trainers compared to the nano froning and metcon 7 ? Cuz i have a pair of haze trainers and love them to bits... is there that much difference with the other 2 .. or do i stick with the Haze trainers
If you love them, you're not missing out on anything really. I prefer the others to lift in, mainly Metcon 7 but I prefer haze to do everything else in. Fronings falls somewhere in the middle.
I cut the drawstring out of my Fronings on the second day of having them. I just didn’t like the look of the drawstring. Conventional laces though, feel exactly like the drawstring; it doesn’t tie high enough to lock down your ankle. Perhaps you could run the laces through the pull loop on the tongue but hadn’t tried that yet
Thank you for the size recommendation. I ordered mine a half size down and it's perfect.
I just grabbed up a pair for $60 on Poshmark this morning. A year late, but better late than never.
I ended up cutting the laces in half removing the quick draw and tie them like a normal shoe. No heal slip and way tighter.
Been using Ridge wallets for a long time now, they're perfect and not bulky at all

Great shoe Reign 3, very underrated, almost as good as Nano 9.

Been waiting for this! Thank you

Not something that I've noticed personally with these shoes.
also having this problem on one side of my nano Xs not sure why
Thank you for the collapsed arch note, so hard to get info on this!
Would you say the X1 grit is similar - collapsed arch friendly?
Thank you for the collapsed arch note. Very difficult info to come by.

Which one you prefer Nano X froning or X1 Froning ? I have the X Froning and Im loving when more them normal X.
I prefer the X1 only because the X is soooooooooo heavy.
You going to make a review for the Project Rock 4’s?
i just ordered them, should be here tuesday.
helpfull review
Can I throw them in the washing machine?
Yeah that’s what I do. Low and cold.
@@AMRAP thx

If you like the way those fit, just go same size
@@AMRAP Gotcha. Thanks, man!
What do you think of these compared to the Haze trainers as far as performance/running?
I think it's pretty close...would take haze for plyo/running though. Fronings are slightly better for lifts but once again, close.

I didn't like the 7mm drop
Have you tried using conventional laces to fix the problem for the rope climbs?
No, I did have someone suggest that to me and I might try it though!
@@AMRAP hopefully it works, I will definitely try it myself!

would you give away your 10s? ;)
Nano x1 froning talla
yes but you back all the deadlifts what a pain you get
I have short legs and long arms, I get no back pain.
