I don’t care what anyone says. Motley Crue really ruled really hard back in the day and mick is one of the best rhythm players out there. He’s got that bluesy feel like robbin Crosby from ratt but can do some of the 80s tricks as well like the whammy bar tricks. That is why I love him as a guitar player.
Everyone says Nikki Sixx couldn't play bass- I have yet to hear any mc where the bass sounded like shit. I mean it isn't great but it's satisfactory & good enough, so I don't know what everyone was talking about he couldn't play bass.
I was there at the US festival..motley was still new to the scene..but they had the crowd going..too bad they dont have the US festivals no more that was one non stop kick ass rock day.
As stated in theyre book "The Dirt" the whole band was extremely nervous at this show, especially Vince. Between that and all the coke, booze and pills they did before going on stage as well the bad sound mixing and to think they still fucking kicked ass.
This was their 1st big show plus they were coked up which isn’t great for lung capacity. IDK how Vince was able to keep his singing voice for as long as he did with all those drugs and booze. Everyone says he lost his voice because of an eating habit but he did that by drinking when it affected his digestive process. Same thing happened to dimebag darell before he was tragically killed in a shooting.
@@deanbreese3858 I read somewhere that his in ear monitor either wasn’t working or it was not turned up so he couldn’t hear himself singing that’s why he sounds a little off.
The Fact the sound system was f**ked. And it was for there whole set and the next 2 bands and he isn't fazed AT ALL !!! That's why he is VINCE NEIL ROCK N ROLL STAR AND FRONT MAN FOR ONE OF THE BEST BANDS EVER.
I love motley crue so much, I'm about to turn 14 and I clearly see they would be such a bad band to see in concert from all the live videos I've watched.
I WAS THERE !!!!
Was it amazing as I imagine?
I was 13,, first concert it was SUPER FUCKING AMAZING !!!!!
I wa there too- amazing - I fell asleep during triumph though lol
Wow. I mean if I could go back in time anywhere I might be plopped down right in the middle of that shit

Early Crüe was so badass.
Proves that attitude goes a very long way.
michael88863 If nothing else, that was their gift. The look of New York Dolls and the fuck it attitude with some kickass tunes.

Jeff Bridges what are you talking about? He’s a great bass player but okayyy

thanks fuck for Mick Mars is all I can say; he carried that band.
No wonder why the poor guy's back is so sore hahaha😂
3:18 Tommy Lee !! Drumstick twirl - Wait for it... ;D
Vince forgets the song title & sings 'I Want Your Action' in the chorus. This was several years after the song had been written. God!
I was there @ 16 !!
' Music was Real back then>Long live the Mighty Crue!!!
As stated in theyre book "The Dirt" the whole band was extremely nervous at this show, especially Vince. Between that and all the coke, booze and pills they did before going on stage as well the bad sound mixing and to think they still fucking kicked ass.
WilIiam Struke that book is now a movie. It’s great
still one of the best bands to see live. Sure they always played wasted but same with the majority of the audience
I love this song really fantastic song to listen to!!☺☺🙄🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘❤❤❤❤
Does Vince even remember the lyrics? He's singing a totally different song! LOL!
Thats what drugs do buddy

I love this song but I think Vince hardly heard anything in the first part but this is so perfect
Love the shoes
HaHa-(laughs)
Awesome!! =)
He is too friggin' high to remember how the songs go!

the all-Mick mix. as god intended.
Wow
Mick fckng Mars !!!
What the hell is "I want your action"? Colossal Screw-up.
Great video, but I wish I could hear Vince's voice better.
@VilleRatUijongbu You were at the US Festival?! How was it? Did you have a good view of the stage? What band(s) did you enjoy the most and the least?
can someone make a CORRECT tab for the solo please? for the soundtrack, not the live one.
David Bowie kicked ass, Stevie Ray was with the band that night.
yeah is so god!!
Nizzz!!!
The mic wasn't turned up until later??
I think vince was boozed and too high
I like motley Crue but Vince was way off but somehow made it work and the crowd loved it
I thought I saw Kid rock in the crowd
Is it me or does Vince Neil sound like James Labrie from Dream Theater?
No.
Lmao I want your action. Vince was just practicing his shitty singing for the post 2000 years.
they were just nervous it was their first big show
He was probably winded and had no cardio due to all the alcohol
This band would have been nothing without mick
The only one with real passion here was the guitarist, glad I never saw them live in the 80's.
Mick Mars is a fucking beast. Great rhythm and leads, with a tone that’s bone crushing.
Nikki wrote all the songs.
I love motley crue so much, I'm about to turn 14 and I clearly see they would be such a bad band to see in concert from all the live videos I've watched.
They sounded like shit, and they still made 300,000 people raise their fists and scream for them, thats a true rock band
@mrkrinkle71 lmao
I thought they were guys? Why the makeup and girl clothes? Still badass song though.
God! Vince Neil is a poor excuse for a singer...
Jason Roach let me know when you can engage 300 thousand people and get the girls all horny
