  • The Super73 S2 is a stylish e-bike that offers pedal assist and throttle operation, which can be set via the Super73 app. The bike is powered by a 750-watt rear hub motor and a large 960-watt hour battery that takes 6-7 hours to fully charge. The bike comes with 4 class modes, with class 1 being pedal assist only up to 20 mph and class 3 allowing pedal assist only up to 28 mph. The bike also features hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, front suspension, 20” wheels with 20x4.5” and 20x5” tires, a front headlight and tail light, and a small display. It also has a stand over height of 31” and can support a weight limit of 325 pounds, with an estimated range of 40-70 miles.
The Super73 S2 is a fun bike to ride and has a higher seat height than the entry-level Super73 Miami, making it more comfortable for taller riders. The front suspension helps to smooth out bumps in the road, and the large fat tires add to the comfort. The bike is on the heavy side, but holds its momentum well when rolling downhill. The turn-by-turn navigation through the app on the display is convenient, as well as the integrated headlight and tail light. When put into off-road mode, the bike is super quick and fun.
The bike isn't the most pedal-friendly due to its short crank arms, and it can be heavy to get going without power assistance. The tires are suitable for the road and light gravel, but can be slick in wet or muddy conditions. The thumb throttle is either on or off, and it would be nice if it had a twist throttle with variable output levels. The Super73 S2 is faster than most pedal-assisted bikes, making it a great choice for someone looking to get around quickly. Everyone who rode the bike had a blast, and it would be practical to add racks or panniers to hold cargo.

It’s a lot more expensive then I thought. And not having any speeds just won’t work
for my family. I guess right now Hey Bikes and Lectric are more my speed. Birthday
    coming up I can wish……

Would you say this bike is decent at climbing hills now? Watching some other older videos, the s2 really struggled with hills (though it's hard to tell how steep each hill is on video sometimes). Looked like you were going up that hill pretty quickly in level 4 PAS. Thanks.

It definitely has the power to make it up steep hills, but harder to pedal cause of the gearing. Motor will get you up some steep ones tho.

Do you need to peddle in peddle assist mode or can you use the throttle?

Is the left break the rear break?

Not out of the box. You could switch it if that’s your preference. Would take a few tools and a bleed to be good to go.

Do they have any that are street legal in Idaho. It needs a mirror and turn signals. it is just under the speed for needing a motorcycle endorsement. Anything that goes more than 30 mph on flat ground you have to have a motorcycle endorsement.

Might be worth looking at the Ride1Up Revv1, we'll have a review up soon, but it happens to have turn signals, and mirrors are cheap ;)

Even 2000$ would be too much for it. 🙄

      Everyone has their price limits

@@ElectricBikeJournal That has nothing to do with my personal price limits. The components are all over low level, nothing looks like quality.
It’s the same level of parts like in a RadRunner Plus or a Himiway Escape.
I wouldn‘t pay premium for something that cheap.
