Thanks for the video. I figured out the lead off the record but had no idea where to begin for the fingerstyle-y part. I found I use a G shape for the bass note instead of the thumb, with my middle finger on the bass note and ring/pinky on the bottom 2 (not using my index like a regular G shape). Feels good that way too. Thumb squeeze sucks.

I learned this using the G5 chord shape for the main part. It took some practice but it has better tone that way. Its good practice for that chord shape also.
Been away for a bit in a different part of the field. Took the long way back. Will send you some photos :)

Guys, its a g shape. there is a way to do this without barring at all lmao
That first part would be a LOT easier if you just put your middle finger on the low string and your pinky and ring on the high notes instead of doing that whole thing with the thumb, it's unnecessary
