@The Fibler So you saying the germans would never had a couple dozen tiger tanks in the same regiment/division, heavy armoured divisions would still just roll around with medium panzer IVs, they send them out withouth infranty support so they can easly be picked of by anti tank guns and all individualy. The infantry would run without any cover from armour across an open field to make it easier to be killed from a long distance. besides that all planes would just fly high up in the sky preferably above the clouds so they cant see if their ground forces are being attack by russian aircraft?
@The Fibler Germans had over 230 Tigers present at the battle of the Kursk... you're being ridiculous now.
Agreed, especially with that beautiful Tiger rolling past nears the end
@The Fibler u know the tank is an easy target when it alone idiot
Imagine going to war with just a helmet, a rifle and shirt.
This film absolutely lit🤙🤙🤙
Those explosions look like new years fireworks
Amazing movie:)/Seen it yesterday and plan on rewatching it in the weekend
would you please get me the name of this movie
freelightiger Unsere Mütter Unsere Väter / Generation War
Thank you , buddy !
It's a miniserie, not a movie. It's like 6 hours long, divided in 6 parts.
actually 3 parts
I can only imagine how many interesting stories could have been told through the eyes of the German soldiers who fought in WW2. There’s no shortage of films about the American soldiers or the Holocaust victims but you rarely if ever see it from the German point of view. Many of which were just normal people trying to survive, with zero knowledge of the atrocities carried out by the Third Reich.
But they knew full well what Hitler stood for. No angels in the German military.
They very much did know about the atrocities, especially if they served on the Eastern Front. That doesn't make them evil though, nor it makes them innocent. It's more complicated than that, an interesting subject.
@@Rep0007 Many people were in the military before hitler and also joining the military is a good way for poor struggling ppl with low education to get a stable job. You get free food clothing and shelter and a steady source of income. In fact sometimes soldiers struggling financially actually live on base to save money so they dont have to pay rent, water, electricity and travel costs. Not everyone were nazi fanatics
Germany had just come out of extremely hard economic times so im sure there were many upcoming young men looking to get a stable job (and some excitement) and the army was recruiting. They joined for the same reasons any young man today would. of course there were indeed hard core nazi fanatics but everyone had their own reasons for being in the german army
@@alexp7579 The eastern front was literally responsible for a huge number of atrocities, they used chemical weapons illegally in eastern europe, they openly massacred jews where they stood(they would frequently assist the SS or conduct their own massacres of jews) the clean wehrmacht is literal a post war pysch op fabricated by german generals to rewrite their genocidal actions and go we were just loyal soldiers fighting for the wrong cause bullshit

O som da artilharia soviética era aterrorizante, mas os soldados alemão eram os melhores, super determinados e disciplinados!

Beautiful sound of Katiusza.
Generation War, such a good TV series. Shame it had only 1 season.
Right as it starts to get good lmao

@@indeed4681 yes its generation war. Really good series. To bad it stops right there when this scene happens
@@Candiedbacon75 because its not an American Action hero movie, but a german reflection on the personalities of some people that live through the shit that went down

Thank enigma. There never was that "Hungarian spy".
The sounds of the rockets at the first few seconds made me realize those were Katyusha rockets
Cant believe the quality of cameras they had back in WW2, the camera men really outdid themselves in this documentary.
Are you inbred or just stupid ?
Generation War, Mantap....👍
Category : Cars and Automotive
I have been watching lately many Euro films.... I like their production quality and are more interesting than the American US films that are been made today... Just please add some English titles on them so people like me can understand what they are saying....I love the fact that in these clips the Germans speak in German ... make the movie look realistic...but please add some English subtitles in them. Thanks.
"generation war" such a good film

@@nicefunfactory7834 oh I didn't know, thanks! Is he still alive by any chance?
@@lrc9304 No, he died in 2004 in his early 90s, having served as Buergermeister of Brackenheim during the 1950s and devoting his retirement years to heavy gardening and Biblical exegesis. I sure had a loads of fun with him visiting Vienna together in 1987. We ended up sitting at a Heuringer with some other elderly Wehrmacht veterans who started sharing absolutely hair-raising stories of survival in Soviet POW camps once the wine started to flow. Curiously, none shared a word about their combat experience.
@@brettsteele6551 wow... did he ever say anything about Hitler? I'm trying to do my own research regarding WW2 as here in America it's pretty "one sided" when it comes to the facts written by the victors (if you know what I mean)
The only war german mini series that was given an HBO budget, thats why its on par with BoB
Great series
You know your hella doomed when hundreds of tiger 1's charge at you

This is a good series. Kind of an army version of Das Boot

Tank "Tiger" gasoline engine, and smokes like a diesel !
Tank "Tiger" Benzinmotor und raucht wie ein Diesel!
топливо синтетическое. то есть спирты. но да, можно использовать бензин. вообще отличный движок потому что использует все что горит. залил в бак шнапс и едешь!
synthetic fuel. that is alcohols. but yes, you can use gasoline. generally the great engine because it uses everything that burns. poured schnapps into the tank and you go!
Прикол да?
Yeah its big mistake in movie. In the other way, they are smoking maybe becouse that gasoline was made from carbon.
Может масло кушает😁
Киношный ляп. Тигров летом 1942 года не существовало.
This was in the battle of Kursk.
Just before the Germans planned to attack Zhukov ordered a massive hour long artillery barrage on the germans
They also dug thousands of kilometers of trenches and planted an insane amount of mines. They knew a major offensive was about to happen so they dug in deep.
@@macleunin Because germans delayed attacking, this propably cost them the battle. Soviets new attack was coming but germans wanted more tanks to field especially new Panther which this early model had lots of problems of.
That CGI tiger 1 looked good but in a different angle it looked weird if you take a look into it
Beide Szenen sind aus dem 2. Teil.

Danny Velasco it’s more realistic with native languages spoken.
Its raping of series if you watch any movie of any language dubbed. Original always
@@mountainguyed67 I know what u mean. I just kept finding myself reading the subtitles…
During World War II the Pacific and Eastern theatres of the war were as bad as it got for the troops having to fight in them. The appalling conditions in which they had to live in and also fight from, combined with the "take no prisoners" mentality made for a truly staggering death toll in just the span of a few days.
Between the mosquito-ridden, damp conditions the Americans and Japanese had to fight in the Pacific, and the freezing cold of Russia, I'd rather fight in Russia to be honest, even if it was more dangerous.
This show is actually pretty good. Its free with Amazon prime if you want to watch it. Its called Generation War
Even the risk of dying is higher, if I see Tiger tanks that many, I would rush with them.
Keeping distance with them is better, russians sometimes counter attacked 50-60 tanks against german 10.
What movie is this from, it looks pretty good?
Generation War
comes pretty late but it's Unsere Mütter Unsere Väter
