In general, when students are at a lower level of proficiency and need a high score on the TOEFL (above an 80), I find that TOEFL practice is not the best. Students at lower levels of proficiency should work on the basics of English first.

Hi there and thank you for your feedback. What do you mean by 'TOEFL didn't provide a good service'? Just to clarify, we are not ETS, we are a separate test prep school, tstprep.com/
@@TSTPrep yes I know this is not ETS, I told your course was amazing, however I didn't like reviewing grades as long as they reduced my scores after revision!!! Meaning that they(ETS) are questioning their own examiners...
Thanks for videos. Sir, recently I had attempt toefl once but I scored only 72 R17, L16, S21, W18. Could you please suggest me how much time required to get 100+ score. Please, provide me some assistance.
Every student is different, so my advice changes based on the person. You can always meet with a teacher for a trial lesson if you want more specific answers for yourself at this link - tstprep.com/toefl-store/toefl-trial-lesson/
Sorry to hear that. It looks like you need to take a break from the TOEFL. Focus on improving your English level and general comprehension instead. I would suggest investing time in a site like LingQ where you can do some extensive practice that is not connected to the TOEFL, that way you can build your skills and vocabulary with text that is a little bit easier before moving ahead with the TOEFL. www.lingq.com/ .
@@TSTPrep I got R26, L28, S 22, W 22 and total 98. And I am going to take Toefl this weekend again! Sorry for the late reply and thank you for your wonderful clips!!
If you need to get to a B2 level, it will take at least three months, maybe more, depending on how you study. @@husainshahryar4 Unfortunately, there is no 'specific way' because everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Much depends on your current ability level and how much time you have to prepare for the test.
@@Inchirah_1 Hi, I am not sure what level A3 is. Usually, after A2 comes B1. Also, the maximum possible score in TOEFL iBT is 120. Are you sure you are talking about the right test?
Everyone is at a different level. Much depends on your current ability level and how much time you have to prepare for the test. If you ever want some additional help, you can check out our site: www.tstprep.com :)
You don't need to go to a 'preparation center'. There are a lot of TOEFL resources online. For example, you can find free and paid practice resources, courses, and classes on our site, tstprep.com
Hi Josh, I have try to attempt twice the exam, the first time I’ve only a week to prepare, I checked all your videos and I scored 82 however I need 90. My second attempt I focused on watching all kind of videos I could find online and it went sooo bad I scored 67. I will have to repeat it for the third time. I’ll focus only on your videos this time. If you have any advice on how to rise up my points to get my desire score will be appreciate it. :(
Well, watching the videos is a good start! However, just watching the videos is not enough. You need to practice a lot and work on improving your language skills. Practicing at home and getting feedback on your practice is the best way to improve. Hi there and yes, unfortunately, that is correct. Those free academic questions are no longer available and instead have been incorporated with their new platform.
Unfortunately, it looks like ETS has decided to put all of its practice in one place starting February 7, 2024. You can make an account here - testready.ets.org/test-prep-library They have included some of those Academic Discussion questions there. Sorry for the confusion.
Hello I need to register in an emergency course, It takes 6 week ? And by this course u will show me my mistakes and correct them for me ? Please, I need answers for my questions

However, the Emergency Course does not include live lessons with a tutor or feedback on your responses. If you'd like to work with a teacher, check out our classes and evaluations here - tstprep.com/store/toefl/.
If you need a more in-depth explanation, you might want to meet with a TOEFL teacher to discuss some of these nuances, since it is difficult to get too granular in a RUclips comment. Here's the link to a trial lesson if you are interested - tstprep.com/store/toefl-trial-lesson/
Hello Josh, I took my test last week and got 65 but my desired score is 90 I subscribed to your course and I want to ask if I can get that score for one month of studying I am in a B2 level
You would have to work with a teacher to get a more specific answer, but everyone has strengths and weaknesses. A 25+ point increase is a huge jump and could be possible in three to six months and would require serious preparation. The more you practice your English, the better your chances will be. I would suggest you book a TOEFL Trial lesson so you can talk with a teacher and receive at least a partial evaluation - tstprep.com/toefl-store/toefl-trial-lesson/. So, when you are of professional profile, to improve your score more than 10 points is very difficulty? What's the start point of the two types of tester?
Thank you for your question. It is possible to improve by more than 10 points. How long it will take depends on your overall level of English and the amount of time you devote to practice. I am not sure what you mean by "Two types of tester." Can you please explain? Thank you. :)
@@TSTPrepThank you for your response. You showed it in table "Score Improvement Timeline Estimate" that for the persion knowing nothing about the test, it need 30 days to improve +5 points, but for the persion knowing the tips and tricks, it need 30-90 days to improve +5 points. Thank you so much for these videos. I took my toefl for the first time on 17.01.24 and got a score of 100/120 and I’m so happy. Just studying for 2 weeks and watching your videos helped me a lot. Thank you so much for all the hard work you do in making these videos❤

Hi Josh, just wanna drop by and say thank you for your courses, i took my toefl test last December and managed to score 113 (L30, R30, S26, W27) with only 2 days of prep time. God bless you and stay safe.

Sure, it did. I saw this video on google
Just got my score. I had to get minimum 92 and…. I got 92! 🎉 I was surprised that got 28 on listening but only 20 on reading. I guess I was a bit nervous in the beginning of the test.
Great news and happy to hear you have earned the score you needed!
Tbh, the only step would be to follow this channel and watch your previous videos. That would suffice. :D
Thanks for commenting. However, everyone is different. Some might need additional help and guidance.
Hi Josh, thank you so much for your help! I had one week to prepare and scored 104 (R20/L28/S28/W28) - Keep up the good work :)

Ia have practiced for 4 months and watched your videos alot.
My test date is on January 6th, this Saturday, I will let you know of my score.
Thanks
Thank you for commenting and good luck on your test!
so, what is your score?
I’m an English speaker. It’s the only language I know. I had to come back to share my scores like everyone else. 116/120 with 1 week of preparation with TST prep’s RUclips videos. I’ve probably watched all of them. 😅
Thanks for sharing. 😄
Thanks the video ❤❤❤
I used your course and it was amazing, but TOEFL didn't provide a good service. I was not satisfied at all with their score review.
I have a test tomorrow but still am not sure about I understand the whole thing or not
specifically the speaking part
How did it go?
Hey josh,
My exam date is on Saturday, 9:30am, however i am not worrying about it still i want you to wish me good luck.
Thank you for commenting. I hope everything went well.
Thanks for videos. Sir, recently I had attempt toefl once but I scored only 72 R17, L16, S21, W18. Could you please suggest me how much time required to get 100+ score. Please, provide me some assistance.
Interesting question
Every student is different, so my advice changes based on the person. You can always meet with a teacher for a trial lesson if you want more specific answers for yourself at this link - tstprep.com/toefl-store/toefl-trial-lesson/
Hi! I don't see the link to the site from 17:27 in the description :(
It's the official site, ETS - www.ets.org/toefl/test-takers/ibt/prepare/practice-tests.html
Thank you very much.
Failed again. No more toefl. Not following my dreams anymore
Sorry to hear that. It looks like you need to take a break from the TOEFL. Focus on improving your English level and general comprehension instead. I would suggest investing time in a site like LingQ where you can do some extensive practice that is not connected to the TOEFL, that way you can build your skills and vocabulary with text that is a little bit easier before moving ahead with the TOEFL. www.lingq.com/
.
how much have you got?
sry to hear that
wish u the best
Hi I’m gonna have the exam tomorrow for the first time after the change in 2023……hopefully I wanna get 100 or higher
don't worry. You got this! You absolutely can do it! 😊
@cherrymarron15, how did it go?
@@TSTPrep I got R26, L28, S 22, W 22 and total 98. And I am going to take Toefl this weekend again! Sorry for the late reply and thank you for your wonderful clips!!
Great, you are the best.

If my English is B1 level do you think how long i need to prepare for TOEFL ? Any thoughts ? Suggestions ?
If you need to get to a B2 level, it will take at least three months, maybe more, depending on how you study. I would suggest you book a TOEFL Trial lesson so you can talk with a teacher and receive at least a partial evaluation. - tstprep.com/toefl-store/toefl-trial-lesson/
That will give you the clearest idea of where you are at.
Hello Dear Sir,
I am massage to you from Afghanistan, I do appreciate you your videos are really amazing.
I am studying English language and literature at University, and I need 110 score. What should I do?
I am also working on Longman and Official guide IBT.
Please show me the specific way.

@@husainshahryar4 Unfortunately, there is no 'specific way' because everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Much depends on your current ability level and how much time you have to prepare for the test.
@@TSTPrepmy level in English is A3 if I study hard in 42 days can I take more than 450 in toefl ??

How did it go?

TOEFL exam has two types test? Like IBT or IPT ? Can you please describe
Please
Hi there and thank you for asking. You can learn about types of TOEFL Exams in this article, tstprep.com/articles/types-of-toefl-exams/
You can always meet with a teacher for a trial lesson if you want more specific answers for yourself - tstprep.com/toefl-store/toefl-trial-lesson/.
man i need 61 for ETBU (east texas baptist university) i am so excited for the test,i know 61 is not a high score but its still hard for me at speaking i am aways like "hmmmmm" "aaaahh" before say anything, making a lot of pause, grrrrr lol. also the time that i have makes ME FELL VERY NERVOUS
Hi there and thank you for sharing. If you want to save time and stress, consider meeting with one of our TOEFL Speaking teachers for a speaking evaluation. This 30-minute call was designed to give students like you feedback on their strengths and weaknesses. - tstprep.com/store/toefl/toefl-speaking-evaluation/
These changes are for the two exams? (Paper edition, Home edition)
The changes have been applied to TOEFL iBT and TOEFL Home Edition. As for TOEFL iBT Paper Edition, it will remain the same as before.
I have mine tomorrow, i’m a little nervous
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
I'm gonna take the test after 12 days, could anyone help me
my test date is the 20th of January, what is your English level?

I use Sony a6400 :)
Hey josh!!
Can u pls tell me which books to refers for practice
I always recommend ETS' official guide since they are the ones who create the test. And of course, check out resources on our site, tstprep.com/
Josh, please guide me on ets website. How can I find the practice for Writing for Academic discussion??
Unfortunately, it looks like ETS has decided to put all of its practice in one place starting February 7, 2024. You can make an account here - testready.ets.org/test-prep-library
They have included some of those Academic Discussion questions there. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi,
I have a significant problem with purpose, insert, highlight questions. how can I improve myself?
That will give you the clearest idea of where you are at.

It is obviously that the start point of these two group is different. So I guess maybe the first group start from 80 points and the second group start from 100 points. Wish your clarification, thank you very much.
@@FeiJi-yd3jg Good question I would say, those scoring below 80 would be in the group can most likely improve 5 points in 30 days. Those scoring over 80 would likely belong to the second group. Hope this helps! :)
