      Thank you very much! I’ve been actually meaning to redo this because I I haven’t stopped training with the mace since I shot this video. When I watch it I feel like I look clumsy. I appreciate your support!

    • @DaBears08
      @DaBears08 4 года назад

      Electric Scooter Academy nah you don’t come off as clumsy bro. Well informed. Clearly you have good form. And you gave solid progressions. Your commentary seems perfect with what you’re doing in that moment in the video. My mace just came in and I’ll be doing this as a warmup to adjust to mace workouts at least twice a week for the next 4 weeks before I step up in weight and start new exercises. I would love to see you make a new video with what you do now because I assume you progressed since this video.

    The title mentions Joe Rogan and Joey Diaz but i never saw them? Was Joe the camera man and Joey holding the boom mic, or did Joe and Joey edit this on a flip phone app? Why mention either of these comedians?

    • @yogadude1234
      @yogadude1234  6 лет назад +9

      Superlife I hear your man admittedly I did it for the clicks! That being said I was on The Church and was Joeys trainer for about a year. Joe Rogan does own Onnit so I figure it’s just me helping promote the company as I am an affiliate.

      I appreciate that but I was never really interested in the industry. I have a feeling as an extra you have to do a lot of standing around and that shit would drive me crazy. Many of my friends have done it over the years though.

    Can anyone explain the differences/benefits of mace training vs club training? They seem similar but as someone who is still new to this type of training I still assume they each have a different effect?

    • @yogadude1234
      @yogadude1234  3 года назад

      I think the club requires more grip and forearm strength. They do you seem very similar but in training they are quite different. If you’re a beginner there’s nothing wrong with just getting one of each and seeing how you like it.

    You did do a great job adding commentary for each of these progressions, but I’d argue there are about 2-3 needless progressions shared here. Again, my opinion, but it seems like we could bypass several and waste less time dabbling with minutiae. Nice job leveraging Rogan and Diaz for clicks son! Hahaha

    • @yogadude1234
      @yogadude1234  4 года назад

      Thanks for checking out the video! Yes you are probably right. I made this video after about one year of training on the mace and teaching people how to use it. I would probably streamline it if I made it today. Did you know that I was a guest on The Church (Joey’s podcast) and used to train Joey? I’m not sure how this video got so many clicks. I’ve put Joe Rogans name in videos after this and it didn’t really make any difference.
