Super helpful. Going to slowly work into switching hands and gentle lunging. Indian club tip at the end was just what I needed

Good job man. I’ve been working out for plus three years with 20, 25 and 30 pounders, but 40? Omg, great work. Thanks for the video.

What is the heaviest they sell these? I'm only able to find 40lb.

In the U.S, yes the heaviest is 40lb Apollo Steel Mace. I’ve shopped around for heavier maces and Agatsu Fitness in Toronto will start selling a 25kg (55lb) soon. Other companies, like 9T9 Fitness in London have heavy maces, but you gotta pay a crap load for shipping.

There are a few companies that sell maces you can load more weight on. I just picked up a Rogue fitness one, and I'm super excited.

A forty pound mace? Holy crap. I thought I was strong. Turns out I am not strong, and I am in fact a sissy. I’m going to go do the other two advanced workouts for maybe six months, and then I will revisit this workout.

I can do left hand on top both ways. But right hand on top going left, I'm retarded. I hit myself in the back of the left knee and I've been limping for a few days lol.

Sorry to hear about that. It’s crucial to work a manageable weight between 10-15lbs because the mace exposes your bilateral imbalances. So really focus on basic 360s and 10&2’s to own your Foundations before trying advanced moves like these featured in this video. I wasn’t perfect either when starting out with this stuff. Would heavily recommend to check my Steel Mace Education playlist where I break down each foundational movement with details and correctives: m.ruclips.net/p/PL5EZfwN4W8LyCvKnNKQy7OZ6oZvJHuKR4

@@CoachVikingVaughn lol I've been using it weightless but I was swinging fast. I notice how close it stays to you without hitting you, Almost parallel to your body.

So you’re using a “weightless” mace? I think we found your problem lol

@@CoachVikingVaughn it's the shoulderok but no weight. I'm trying to get used to the 360s both ways, both hands lol

This mace training screams "rotator cuff" injuries. I don't think I'm going for mace training
