I'd recommend the Dirty down weathering spray as well. really great for vehicles and building and like the rust paint you can use a damp tissue to manipulate the paint and move it around to get various effects
Use this in my air brush all the time, not had any clogging, the top line of the liquid dries on the air brush cup but this washes off really easy with water. Also get a way smoother coat than I've ever gotten with a brush. I'd definitely give it a try :)
bro, i had some mecha rust texture on a plate and was working with both that and DDR at the same time. the mecha rust texture went a little dry and i mixed in some fresh DDR to get it wet again. 10/10 will try again. it gave me the best rust ever. only problem is it is on the bottom of an ork trukk
Very nice. You've finally convinced me to buy some. I love the Vallejo weathering products (especially the rain marks and the oil stains), but their rust one, although good in many ways, doesn't do this stuff.
@@TheFeralPainter No , rather pay you doing a specfic tutorial for a person. you can post it on your channel afterwards, no problem. I would love to have a tutorial about tau and im willing to pay for it
I've experimented a fair bit with this in the past and had some issues with varnish. The varnish itself doesn't reactivate the Dirty Down but there didn't seem to be a complete seal which meant when I painted over the varnished surface the dirty down did reactivate. I might just have not applied enough (I was wary of reactivation) but I have spoken to very experienced Dirty Downers who confirmed they have the same issue. For clarity I applied via a spray can and have been told by Gobble_inz (US distributor) that airbrushing a satin should work better.
DD Rust is amazing but Moss sucks... I've tried different temperatures, different amount of water dilution, different background colours and it's still not amazing unfortunately. Rust and Verdigris though are really nice.
I freaking love that Rust, ❤ BTW, dont you have a ball bearing inside the Rust bottle? Mine had a ball in it ready.... Of my Two favorite products, This Rust is one, and AK's Streaking Grime the second.
This stuff will look amazing when i start back up on my ww2 tanks thank you.
Its awesome

Glad you like them!
I mixed both rusts together in one bigger pot 50/50 and that works best for me. :D

Think I mention in the video. But I’ve never tried it tbh. Will probs do this as a sub section in later episode and see what results bring.
