Cuteness overload! This makes me want a raccoon so much. Keep doing such a great job caring for animals. The world needs more people like you.
The most fun and destructive creatures you can have.....they are climbers so you can't have anything of value out. They chew on everything they can get. They can open your fridge, doors and turn on faucets. They can master anything that doesn't require an opposable thumb. They also don't realize how sharp their teeth are or their claws. You will have scratches continuously and they can play really rough, so you have to protect your face, especially your eyes. They require various food, so it's not like feeding a dog or cat and it's more expensive. Also, in captivity, they tend to prefer one person, the person who raised them, so after a year or two, when you're ready to move on, they will be heartbroken . You cannot free them at anytime because they won't know how to find food, so you'll have to find a person who keeps orphans and it will be outside in a cage. My advice, is get a dog or cat. If you want to go on vacation, you can find a person or kennel to care for them, that's not the case with a raccoon. If you don't have fifteen years open, it's a bad idea. If you're really dedicated, train as a wildlife rehabilitator and help save orphans so they can be released. These are wild animals.

While I’m not sure if raccoons can eat cheese, I know cats shouldn’t eat Mac and cheese
They can eat most things we can. I searched what they can’t eat and that is garlic, onions and chocolate.
@@gabecollins5585Yeah, but adult cats are lactose intolerant and can get upset tummies if they have too much dairy. A bit of cheese like you see here or a few licks of ice cream here and there is fine though.

Hey. So I'm a wildlife rehabber and I have 2 non releasable raccoons. I can not keep then out of ANYTHING!! I could really use your help on what to get for cabinets, drawers or what kind of baby gate you used. I've bought 3 one of them figures a way over or through, every time. Also did u have trouble with them near attack, niping u? There playing bt it hurts. Thanks do much

How do you deal with all the hair that your animals shed?
Vegan babybels are fire. 😎 Beyond meat is not that great, impossible is better. I wouldn't feed eityer to an animal though I think they're very chemically. Beans though... I found out the other day some beans have straight up lard in them... will only get vegetarian of those.
Agreed, Beyond Meat seems...off to me. Impossible tastes much better.

my parents made me be vegan when i was 12-16 I suffer from a plethora of health problems in my adult years because of it. You need real food growing up.
That could be considered child neglect. They neglected your needs as their child, leading to the health issues you had gotten.
You should sue them, or at least have them cover your medical bills. Vegans are absolute tyrants. My dad's neighbors are vegans. They've forced a vegan diet on their large dog. The dog is always escaping to go to my dad's for food, especially protein, as meat. That poor dog is starving. This is animal cruelty. We're going to report them to an animal welfare organization and try to adopt their dog. He loves being with us and live a normal life. Poor thing..
i have blood quality issue because of a disease and the blood specialist that i see has 90% vegan customers, meaning that 10% is not due to a mental illness
It’s possible to get a proper vegan diet, but a lot of people don’t know how. You have to eat a lot of chickpeas to make up for the protein! Veganism should be a choice for an adult it should not be forced on a child.

When I was a kid (back in the 70's and 80's), I raised three separate raccoons. All three played very roughly, although I will say the female was a bit more gentle.
Question: When you raise more than one at the same time, do they learn to play more gently, or is rough play just part of being a raccoon? I mean, raccoons have fur for protection, so it makes sense they would play as if humans also had fur...just a thought.

I have a girl raccoon I've had since her eyes was closed I raised her.. this month of May 2024 she's 1 years old.. she stays in a big cage outside I leave the door open so she goes and comes when she get ready she's been gone now for 1 week hasn't came back i miss her so much.... I hope she will return i also leave food and water in her cage just in case she does

i think it's pretty simple: real animal products contain protein and fat which is scarce in the wild and is easily smelled by animals with better senses of smell than our own. unfortunately your raccoons are extremely spoiled and want handmade homemade kosher non-gmo something something

Feeding your animals food is animal abuse? How delusional. There was nothing sugary in this video and spices do not cause cancer. Sugar is also something the body needs in small amounts. Unless they were frequently having an over abundance of sugar daily then there is no need to worry. They had very little sugar in this and spices cannot cause cancer.
Is it legal in your state to keep a raccoon? Also, is this this same raccoon that we saw in a video from 3 years ago? She has gained a lot of weight! That’s why you shouldn’t domesticate a wild animal 🥺
