Hello !! I need your help. I have a stucture in tekla. I want to convert it in 3d autocad but to be able to change the structure not to be just a block?? Is it possible?
this's an isometric view exported to AutoCAD from Tekla,its not possible to work on a 3D Structure imported from tekla structures in Autocad,plain autocad accepts dwg and dxf.mostly 2d and isometric
Thank you a lot. So there is no possibility. Could tou recommend me a solution to the problem. I have already desing punmps and piping to 3d cad and i have to put the buiding structure which is on tekla. You understand that to put each particle from the begging to 3d is too slow. So please if you could help me i would really appreciate it. Thank you again.
since autocad doesn't IFC files,I would recommend you import your pump drawing into revit,revit accepts 3d dwg format then convert your drawing to IFC file in revit.Now with IFC file you can import your 3d into tekla structures.
sorry i just see this comment you can select members in 3D view at model and go to File >> Export >> 3D DWG nad select option use faces this will export autocad file in model folder its look like 2D but when press Shit+middle mouse button will get your drawing
