Black Ops 1 didn’t feel cartoony and arcade like. It actually felt sort of dark and realistic and had a modern warfare feel. At some point down the line when they released black ops 2 the game changed and became a little more arcade like with brighter vibrant colors. I’ve noticed every black ops since 2 has been like that. I wish they’d get the black ops games back to the feel of the first game. I also don’t think we need a new call of duty every year either. I think a new call of duty every 2 years is sufficient.

MW2019 started a really good new storyline. The gameplay might have had some issues, but the story and the feel was very good, but MWII just missed the mark completely. And MWIII was just the nail in the coffin. What they should do is just retcon both the MWII and III, and just restart

I rather than remaster, every single map, then bring out some garbage map that doesn't even look good or play good. Play modern warfare 2, not the og, didn't even have 3 Lane design maps. I think they only had like two maps that were three lane design and that was at the end of the life. A modern warfare ii all I can say is I don't care. I like remastered maps, cuz. I get to see and play my Maps from back in the day because I aint going back to the old Trash games. I love the old games but I also love doing a battle pass. I have no time to get on an older game.Because I can't complete my battle pass
I personally think that if IW is going to make another Modern Warfare game, they need to push back against the studio execs. Activision and whoever else. They need to take. Their. Time with this next game. They need to remind them how badly 2023’s MW3 failed and say, “See? This is what happened when your stuck your oars in and pushed the studio to hurry up and finish the game. This is what happens when you stick your noses in and push. We’re going to take our time, get it right, and make a really good game that people actually want to play again.” If IW is given the time, they can develop a great game with an engaging campaign. We’ve seen that with MW 2019 and MW II. They need to be allowed to take their time to get it right. CoD players are not going to be spoiling for new games and are used to having to wait. This should be no different.
Truth is the only reason we keep getting reboots and unlimited sequels in COD is because they're so lazy whenever they try to do something different they have absolutely NO CREATIVITY and so the game tanks so they choose safety in sales because people are willing to shell out money on brand recognition over ORIGINAL CONTENT.
Going from BO6 back to MW3 felt like getting dipped in molasses and being told to run around with one eye blindfolded and 10lbs weight tied to my ankles.
@ yeah but its an IW IP, realistically they had no good writers or were being petty with SHG and made them do it themselves but by then it was too late for a fluid story to be told so they just started marketing MTXs instead lol. IW has a terrible track record of being cooperative with the other devs, whether it be 3ARC or SHG.
Yeah, that’s what I think should happen to give Makarov a reason to hate Urzikstan and Verdansk. We could probably see his story through flashback missions either playing as Makarov himself, or one of his important henchmen. This could be a chance to make Makarov better for the MW reboot story.
@@alexdenkko I really don’t care about them one bit. In fact, I don’t care that much about the battle passes either. If you like them yourself, then that’s okay.

I don’t want to see IW make another game. MW22 was the first COD and game I traded in after 2 months less than a day of playtime. Absolute garbage game. Bad UI, bad campaign, bad multiplayer, bad spec ops.
I think you nailed it. It’s not the Omni movement it’s the arcade style of play. There are 2 camps, those of us that have been playing since MW 1 and those that have only been around for 4-5 years. Thats who buys all the cringeworthy operator bundles, who never play the objective & have fun. The developers don’t care about the experienced player, they just want more players to sell add-ons too. Sad but true. The only bundle I ever bought was Bruce Willis in the last Black Ops. ( yes it’s Christmas movie darn it.)
What is "OMNI MOVENENT" Be advised Im Not a Multi player dude, I only play single player campaigns partly because the multi player is so unrealistic and arcady ! Kids running around with different hero skins with a glowing purple ARs.
What they can do is delete the current campaign missions in MW III, and replace it with a fresh and new campaign storyline missions as a huge new update only focused on the Single Player Campaign mode. In this way, whatever happened in the MW III storyline actually never happened and you get to play a good quality game this time with a good narrative storyline. This is the only way we can fix the Modern Warfare narrative.
All I can say is this: Nothing is going to save CoD or the community itself. Not even the franchise itself. Activision brought this on themselves, and they need to deal with it.
Well they lost me as a customer... I refuse to buy BO6 and I was going to wait till mw4 to buy again. So I can actually use my skins and weapons I have... why would you buy BO6 knowing that the past 2 games dont transfer over because it takes place in the 90s yet I seen a BO6 operator wearing a crye jpc which didn't come out till 2010 😂😂 fucking joke dude
Hey ink, you forgot to mention that IW was in this same situation for Infinite Warfare. They didn’t predict that people would be sick of advanced movement by the end of Black Ops 3 life cycle. So they were forced still to have it in the game
I prefer no omni movement or tactical sprint because when you add it, you just end up getting absolute sweats. I sincerely think with a combination of omni movement, tac sprint and all the small maps, this will feel like a completely different game (not in a good way).
I would love to blame ATVI for forcing IW to rush MWIII out but after MWII’s story and them choosing the indirect sequel route, they shot themselves in the foot. Hopefully MW4 blows everyone’s minds and makes MWIII’s story good, who knows
Redcon mw3 and start over again, get rid of omni movement, bring proper MILSIM skins back, bring back DMZ, and make it more tactical. Stick with the arcadie movement to BO otherwise people will be bored after 3 years, which it up, not every cod needs to feel the same. Its good to which it up and make the game more tactical.
Hell no!! Go play hell let loose or something tactical. Call of duty is an arcade shooter. If you want boring and slow, go find a boring and slow game!
@@LiveTUNA Bro COD cant be the same game every year, we need to switch game style once in a while. And no i dont wanna play hell let loose, I want COD MW19 and MWII, they were actull bangers I loved playing them, but i also loved playing MWIII, BOCW and The bo6 beta. Because they were diffrent from MW. So many people complain about cod being the same game every year, here is the f****** solution. Also they arent slow, they just play diffrent. MW19 legit gave you sweats your beloved slide canceling.
@@LiveTUNA Also, have you ever played hell let loose ? If you did, you would know how diffrent it is from MW19 and MWII. Tbh you cant even call MW games tactical, the guns dont even feel like real guns. Its just a slower pace cod with diffrent game styles and Mechanics.
I would also like to mention Infinity Ward saying it’s too Arcady and yet it took all call of duty studios mostly Infinity Ward up to MWII 2022 to realize that selective fire isn’t an attachment to a weapon.
I definitely think that if infinity ward stays true to their tactical shooter approach then it can separate the community a bit, I think that for cod multiplayer it doesn't fit the slower pace but that's why search and destroy was incredible on the game because it was built for tactical gameplay. I think that a tactical shooter style for multiplayer can work if done right which infinity ward did not succeed in but regardless there will be fans for both from how big of a franchise cod is, black ops can have the classic arcade shooter feeling like they always have while modern warfare has a slower tactical approach which will target the audience they want, and as a result it leaves sledgehammer as the experimental studio which has no set series and can either develop their own series or just get creative and make a cod game that doesn't need to be serious about a story but could be extremely fun for multiplayer
If Infinity Ward is the lead dev yk damn well they would just do their own thing. Like "fuck what the community wants" As much as I love the MW series mainly for campaigns but its unfortunate that Infinity Ward would just possibly ruin it
@LtFulcrum Exactly, and sometimes the community isn't worth satisfying because they will buy your game anyway. When the CoD fatigue really started to set in, they innovated the franchise with Advanced Warfare ( jetpack cods in general), and the community hated it because "it wasn't cod". They wanted another boots on the ground / WWII CoD (WWII), then hated that one, too. Apparently, the map formula was stale, so MW19 ditched 3-lane design, and that was also hated. (There is a reason why MW19 SnD is really good) Another thing wrong with Call of Duty is that a lot of problems can be attributed to Activision forcing the devs to do things they don't want to do. Another is the players buying the games each year. It's not the seller, it's the consumer's fault.
I have a crazy theory for mw4 that they are going to have makarov and Mendez are going to team up as the main villains. With the game coming out before mw4 being the bo2 remake there will be a lot of hype around Mendez again and I think if they combine the two best villains in cod history it could potentially save the new mw story.
that isn't true though, IW would have had input in how the story would work as it would directly affect the next instalment ie MW4, also ALL the studios work together on ALL the Call of duty's no matter what one it is, SHG have always worked under IW, its why there games always seem to be less liked as they always seem to get less time on there games, IW most defiantly had input in to what was going on in mw3s single player, how much we will never know, however im just going to point out that until 2019 IW was in trouble, infinite warfare and ghosts where probably two of the worst call of duty player number wise, ghosts tried a new larger map MP and no one liked it, and infinite warfare had the pay to win OP weapons you could get in supply drops, add to that infinite came at the time people was sick and tired of advanced movement. SHG came out with advanced warfare which was the beginning of the advanced movement phase but it was Treyarch what made it work with BO3/4, also SHG had ww2, which was decent but no one really wanted a ww2 game at that point same as vanguard tbh, i guess my point is SHG have been at the heart of cod however never really been able to show how good they could be if given the chance because they have always been under IW shadow.
If I were to suggest something in regards to omnimovement & MWIV. I think IW should approach the mechanic ( this is the only way I know how to articulate this ) with the mentality of "slow is smooth & smooth is fast"
MW 2019, MWII and MWIII?!? Oh, you mean WarZone, WarZone 2 and WarZone 3... Where every annual "Premium Experience" looks and plays basically the same, regardless of whether the game is set in the present, 80s, WWII or Ancient Rome!
I agree with you with the movement being weird after playing the Black Ops 6 beta. I was trying to move diagonal and it ended up feeling clunky than smooth.
Omni movement has killed cod for me i really wanted to give it a chance and enjoy it but i can not deal with the change, its too much change for the sake of change, its a ridiculous mechanic that is so situational its no big deal. I will be skipping mp this year, ill be sticking with mw3

That way we have to deal with jetpacks for a year or two, then we can go back to boots on the ground. I think that will be an extreme switch because people will be tired of the jetpack movement.
10/10 idea. I would LOVE sequels to them.
I think they should be able to do what they want, just like Treyarch should. I want both games to be unique.
I know the current modern warfare campaign trilogy had mixed reviews, but I’m still interested to see what happens now that price killed Shepherd and Makarov killed soap
That's trash

I just want another BO2 or MW2019 man. Low TTK, high tech, awesome graphics, graphics have peaked at 2019
thats because MW3 was poorly planned and a disaster as far the casual player base. A supposed to be "premium update " turned into a entire game. SMH activison has turend into a cash grab studio and I see a great downfall in the near future.
Sledgehammer took a sledgehammer to the story of MW. There's no recovering. What a fail of a studio.
Now hold up mw2 story sucked ASS tho also. Can’t forget that mw19 was a great story
BRING BACK GHOST SERIES
Fr
MW2019 started a really good new storyline. The gameplay might have had some issues, but the story and the feel was very good, but MWII just missed the mark completely. And MWIII was just the nail in the coffin. What they should do is just retcon both the MWII and III, and just restart
MWII story was fine. Warzone they missed it up. Multiplayer was mostly made for the casuals but it was less about movement. More about gunplay.
I played bo6 with my friends all weekend, then when we went back to MWIII, we all talked about how weird it felt, we tried to use Omni movement a few times and then realized we couldn’t. This might be a hot take but I liked the new mw games despite some of their problems, I think mw4 would be interesting.
Honestly, Omnimovement is a mixed bag for me but going back to MW3 didn't really feel all that strange because i was so used to it anyways. I would have to play BO6 and future CoDs with Omnimovement to make it truly feel weird for me.
If MW4 gets cancelled then atleast Vladimir Makarov gets his happy ending, no more TF141 getting in the way.😈
COD is the definition of why corporate greed is bad, went from a great shooter to the laughing stock of the gaming world
They just killed Soap a second time(and in a way more disrespectful way) and dipped off into the sunset with no conclusion...
Yes, exactly. It did feel very slow.
Especially because I was one of the omnium kings I kept spamming it a lot. I just like dave in like an action hero but yeah, I hope this omni movement never goes away
If you read my comment, I hope you read this one as well. I'm commenting to myself so I can say the rest. Can I finish your video now? I think 2 things one i don't get why people hate remakes of maps. 3 masters of maps, like it's no good, normal map. All the maps that are new that they make gnarly days are small in trash.
Soap mw4-
“Well i wasn’t in that game”
Truth is the only reason we keep getting reboots and unlimited sequels in COD is because they're so lazy whenever they try to do something different they have absolutely NO CREATIVITY and so the game tanks so they choose safety in sales because people are willing to shell out money on brand recognition over ORIGINAL CONTENT.
tbh i think Modern Warfare could just make omni movement an operator vest or boots
Going from BO6 back to MW3 felt like getting dipped in molasses and being told to run around with one eye blindfolded and 10lbs weight tied to my ankles.
Let IW have their Sentinel playstyle, the real test is the retention and revenue post launch. That's what's gonna make or break them.
As an ex soldier it feels so stupid to see mofos moving like that with heavy ass equipment. This did it for me at least
Treyarch makes better games then infinity ward
my ranking is,
1. Treyarch
2. Sledgehammer Games
Mw19 was good mw2 was good but ruined by mw3
I feel like that’s partly true I won’t forget black ops 4 and Cold War
Cod ghosts 2 would be the ultimate redemption arc
IW just needs better writers cuz holy fuck someone got fired midway through MWIIIs life cycle
mwIII wan't developed by IW
@ yeah but its an IW IP, realistically they had no good writers or were being petty with SHG and made them do it themselves but by then it was too late for a fluid story to be told so they just started marketing MTXs instead lol. IW has a terrible track record of being cooperative with the other devs, whether it be 3ARC or SHG.
@@SPITEFLESH it is true, the 1st one was good but they shitted from the second part.
Imagine call of duty as a movement shooter like a straight movement shooter
What if MW4 began with a hefty makarov backstory, just saying that would catch my attention
Yeah, that’s what I think should happen to give Makarov a reason to hate Urzikstan and Verdansk. We could probably see his story through flashback missions either playing as Makarov himself, or one of his important henchmen. This could be a chance to make Makarov better for the MW reboot story.
Nah, there should be Fortnite characters running with lazer guns! Don't forget snoop dogg and Nicky Minaj.
@@alexdenkko You’re joking, right?
@@FortBoyGaming you don't like anime girls and lazer guns in mw3? :)

The core COD community is never buying another Infinity Ward game again anyway, so none of this even matters.
been playing cod over 12 years i would consider myself one of the core players and i will absolutely buy mw4
Cod community buying all cods games even if it trash 😊
You think cold war was better with broken camera angles, broken hit detection, skilled based match making and engagement turned up to the max and no anti cheat ? Ngga stfu on g
Everyone says that but that will not be the case. Guarantee the player base will be there especially if the pitch is to retcon MW3
( yes it’s Christmas movie darn it.)
the die hard 1 2 games has omnimovement first John Maclean's
What is "OMNI MOVENENT" Be advised Im Not a Multi player dude, I only play single player campaigns partly because the multi player is so unrealistic and arcady ! Kids running around with different hero skins with a glowing purple ARs.
They can do one thing with campaign and said forgot mw2 and mw3 . We give you continue of mw2019 and we call it modern warfare or something like that
What they can do is delete the current campaign missions in MW III, and replace it with a fresh and new campaign storyline missions as a huge new update only focused on the Single Player Campaign mode.
In this way, whatever happened in the MW III storyline actually never happened and you get to play a good quality game this time with a good narrative storyline.
This is the only way we can fix the Modern Warfare narrative.
Omnimovement should stay we should have had it earlier
All I can say is this: Nothing is going to save CoD or the community itself. Not even the franchise itself. Activision brought this on themselves, and they need to deal with it.
Nah you're making omni movement a way bigger thing than it actually is
Honestly, most people could play without using it properly and still do pretty well.
I really live for Infinity Ward to create a Division 2/DMZ luke mode

modern warfare4 is a thing?!?
Hey ink, you forgot to mention that IW was in this same situation for Infinite Warfare. They didn’t predict that people would be sick of advanced movement by the end of Black Ops 3 life cycle. So they were forced still to have it in the game
Activision and SHG burned this reboot
I prefer no omni movement or tactical sprint because when you add it, you just end up getting absolute sweats. I sincerely think with a combination of omni movement, tac sprint and all the small maps, this will feel like a completely different game (not in a good way).

Night dmz have spatial place in my heart
Unpopular opinion but I would rather they Made Ghosts 2 instead of MW4
As a veteran and gun nerd. mw19 night mode was one of my favorite things in gaming past 10 years.
I would love to blame ATVI for forcing IW to rush MWIII out but after MWII’s story and them choosing the indirect sequel route, they shot themselves in the foot. Hopefully MW4 blows everyone’s minds and makes MWIII’s story good, who knows
Movement didn’t feel weird or different at all after going back to MW3 from the Black Ops Beta.
@@LiveTUNA can just say the same to you, go play something else.
Nah, MW3 movement feels faster than BO 6 movement, BUT, both are good
I definitely think that if infinity ward stays true to their tactical shooter approach then it can separate the community a bit, I think that for cod multiplayer it doesn't fit the slower pace but that's why search and destroy was incredible on the game because it was built for tactical gameplay.
Like "fuck what the community wants"
As much as I love the MW series mainly for campaigns but its unfortunate that Infinity Ward would just possibly ruin it
The community does have a history of being awful so you can't blame them
@@DaftROBOT1 undestanable. On many other games too. Sometimes you just cant satisfy their community
(There is a reason why MW19 SnD is really good)
Another thing wrong with Call of Duty is that a lot of problems can be attributed to Activision forcing the devs to do things they don't want to do.
I don't understand why people is hating on iw they did not have nothing to with MW3 it was all sledgehammer 😑
we ain't hating IW because of mw3. we hate them because of Mw2. mw2 sucks ass.
Also because for the 100000000000000000000th time, they did not listen to what the people wanted
And MWIII is the best COD we've had since BOII and MWII is the worst COD of all time. That speaks volumes!
that isn't true though, IW would have had input in how the story would work as it would directly affect the next instalment ie MW4, also ALL the studios work together on ALL the Call of duty's no matter what one it is, SHG have always worked under IW, its why there games always seem to be less liked as they always seem to get less time on there games,
IW most defiantly had input in to what was going on in mw3s single player, how much we will never know, however im just going to point out that until 2019 IW was in trouble, infinite warfare and ghosts where probably two of the worst call of duty player number wise, ghosts tried a new larger map MP and no one liked it, and infinite warfare had the pay to win OP weapons you could get in supply drops, add to that infinite came at the time people was sick and tired of advanced movement.
SHG came out with advanced warfare which was the beginning of the advanced movement phase but it was Treyarch what made it work with BO3/4, also SHG had ww2, which was decent but no one really wanted a ww2 game at that point same as vanguard tbh,
i guess my point is SHG have been at the heart of cod however never really been able to show how good they could be if given the chance because they have always been under IW shadow.
Sledgehammer didn't work on the campaign, Infinity ward did.
Sledgehammer was tasked with making the multiplayer and zombies mode.
Good, they never needed to remake MW to begin with. It was perfect as it was.
What they sould do is just go back a little bit in time and restart the mw story at the end of mw2 and start over again
Sledgehammer and treyarch killed the franchise with mediocre zombies and weak bundles. Omni movement sucks. It stopped me from buying BO 6
I just want another Modern Warfare 2019 type of game. The Spec Ops missions were amazing and that was when Warzone was at its prime.
Call of duty isnt battlefield! It should be Arcady that’s the charm
they killed the MW Series
They need to frantically fill this problem with COD Ghost 2 lol
I find it funny that when they announced the omni movement they said it can be toggled and now it can't after the beta.
In mw4 they should use omnimovemnt in Arcade style mode and a modes where is The Tactical style and keep the Warzone untouched
I want Ghosts 2 or Infinite Warfare 2
If I were to suggest something in regards to omnimovement & MWIV. I think IW should approach the mechanic ( this is the only way I know how to articulate this ) with the mentality of "slow is smooth & smooth is fast"
MW 2019, MWII and MWIII?!? Oh, you mean WarZone, WarZone 2 and WarZone 3... Where every annual "Premium Experience" looks and plays basically the same, regardless of whether the game is set in the present, 80s, WWII or Ancient Rome!
They should retcon mw3 as Price's acid dream
That’s not true! MW4 is coming
when Makarov will be dead forever!
DId not realize I not only got used to Omnimovement but liked it until I returned to MW3 MP & realized I was missing Omnimovement LOL
Everyone needs to slow down. No Russian.
2:12 - If Infinity Ward really had cared about their "baby", they'd never have handed it over Sledgehammer WWII Games in the first place!
