If u look at your video were trecking pole handle is you will see a loop to tie your bathtub floor to trecking pole too so you do not have to hold floor to unzip it ...Just a note

Thanks for the comment. I am aware of the loops on the bathtub, but they actually do nothing with regards to adding tension to the zippers and upper part of the tent.. In comparison to a freestanding tent, the inner part of this tent is quite loose because there is no pole system to give it structure and tension. Not a big deal, just something to consider.

Amazing tent but the only thing I will siggest to change it will be probably the inner tent . Maybe no solid?.

I have the 1 person tent in delivery status at this time. When it gets here ( If I have to ) I plan on using some 3/32 Shock cord with Mini cord locks I got from Zpacks. One at each corner since it appears to be a problem mentioned on a lot of the videos ( besides yours ) of the tents.
I will make a loop with the shock cord for each corner attachment of the tent and inside section. Run the ends of the shock cord threw the mini cord locks and knot each end so it can not pull out. Then using the cord locks I can adjust the amount of tension I want or don't want at each corner. Simply by adjusting the length and tension of the shock cord that's threw each cord lock.
Here in Florida it's all sand and Shepard's Hooks are not the best to use , MSR Groundhogs work really good.

That sounds like a good idea, Chuck. I just got back from my first trip with the 2P camping at round 12,500. It perfomed well in the typical mountain thunderstorm and all day rain shower. Since properly staking the corners is so important for this tent, I had concerns of using it in certain locations...but so far it's been okay in our firmer southern Utah sand and up high in the rocky tundra with shallow layer of soil (the shepherd hooks actually worked well up in the tundra since I could poke and prod the ground until I found a good spot). I'm interested in hearing how the 1P does with the groundhogs in your Florida sand

@@uintabum4938 Glad you had a nice trip and got to try the tent. No camping for me till late September or Early October , to darn hot till then.
I use the MSR Groundhogs with the Tent or for Hammock ( staking out the rain fly ). I have been using them for years and they always preform well where ever i hang the hammock or put up the tent. I have used them here in Florida , all up the eastern side of the USA and out west as far as Texas.

Thanks so much for your review! How did you make your footprint and what are the dimensions?

No problem! the groundsheet was originally made for my Copper Spur UL2, but it fit the 2P close enough. I started with an 8x6 foot sheet of Tyvek off ebay and just traced the tent's footprint on it. I think an 8x6 piece should be large enough to trace out the 2P's footprint, too.
