@@JaronLee earned my sub, cant wait to see your indie covers! :D If you're feeling up to it, also try out Novo Amor's "Sleepless", it might be hard, but it's also a phenomenal song.
If i had a nickel fkr every time i met a Jaron who was a porter Robinson fan...I'd have two nickels. Which isnt alot but its wierd that it happened twice
@@JaronLeenot that it sounded bad but what caught my attention was that wobbly effect where the autotune couldn't make up it's mind and was jumping semitone up and down. Usually with those plugins you can choose which notes to omit. Sometimes you can't omit them for the whole audio clip so you might need to create another instance of the autotune for these certain parts. Or if those parts sound good enough you could just create an automation clip and lower the autotune effect for those affected parts Still good job on the cover ❤
@@JaronLeeFor stuff like this I'd recommend getting Melodyne, it's really powerful and you can adjust to the smallest detail for final mixes, there's a few parts where the tuning is a little slow to change. Also the delayed vocal could use a little panning so it's not crowding the stereo field of the main vocal. Or even just sidechaining it so it just activates in the absence. Though it's not a big issue, it's only really noticeable in certain parts. But I'd recommend the panning during the chorus to help play with the wideness. But good work :)
@@KnightPezz I've heard good things about Melodyne! Never pulled the trigger but this is making me want to lol. That makes sense for the echo, I'll look up a panning or side chaining tutorial. tysm!
Let me know what I should cover next!
ANYTHING indie, your voice would be perfect for it! Maybe Novo Amor's "Haven" would be so awesome! You have a really great voice, great job!
@@dactylrexasaur listening to it rn and love it! I put it on my list thanks for the rec and the support

you might need a tutorial on setting up that autotune my guy :/
Using default auto tune from logic :/ any tips or recommendations appreciated
