Thanks, man. Reading the instruction manual is some kind of torture. I don't understand why ingineers are making a dashboard soooo complex! The attention you put on some unexpected flashing light is the attention you don't put on the road. Fantastic bike (I own it) but way too complex dashboard. Three modes and it's ok, I understand. Great review.

Fantastic review had this bike for 2months and have been struggling to understand the more advanced settings, you have made sense of this, I don't know if I will ever be bothered with some of the settings deep into the menus. Thanks Mike, appreciate it. It was a multiple video request for this one, so thanks to Alin one of our subscribers that came with the bike, I've managed hopefully to complete this review. Greetings!
Thanks for the video. What we set when we change shift up&width setting? It means all the shifts will be at that rev&distance? In which mode we can make these changes? Only for user mode or for both modes?
Excellent demo video. I do not understand why Honda did not include an outside temperature indication on this new dashboard considering the bike is such a practical commuting motorcycle.
I think the dash is great. It could have done with a temperature indicator though. I’m just missing a cruise control from the entire platform. X-adv for example is built on the same platform but cost 3000 euro more, it should have had cruise control.
I had a difficult time understanding the different modes and what I was actually setting by reading the manual. Thank you for the time you’ve put into your channel content. New subscriber. 73

Excellent explanation 👍, very convenient for future owners 😉. However, I am interested in whether the settings in LINE mode affect the responsiveness of the engine and the driving mode itself. Or what is the point of these settings at all. Thanks
Yes,from the Line mode you can influence the following : The following items can be changed sequentially. ● Shift up rev setting ● Shift width setting ● Time sign setting ● Fuel sign setting ● Switch sign setting Which means for example that You can adjust the shift up point, Shift width setting, You can set the interval RPM from flashing point to shift up point of the multi color line. The tachometer bar and RPM value in INFO 2 display start flashing, and the message of "SHIFT WIDTH" scrolls in INFO 1 display.
Sorry if I missed this part. Is there a way to set a specific mode as default? For example I wish to always have sport as default. Can I do that? Now , every time I start the engine, the standard mode is set as default
Good question, it works like this : first start it's by default standard then if you change it it stays at your selected preference for as much as you ride and didn't take the key out. Same was for the previous version. Hope this helps.
@@IdealBike Thank you for your reply. Thats what ive been doing so far. Is there a way to set any other default than standard however? I wish to keep sport for example even after i remove the key
Anybody knows if the dashboard dims automatically or not? I set the dimmer high to 4 and low to 2 but i cannot see any diffrence when riding. Also not in the dark.
I've forgotten some infos regarding the D-Level mode. Here are the explanations: NC750XD D level (DCT mode) D level (DCT mode) has four setting levels. Did you mean RPM when it switches to a higher gear? So, the higher D level is, the higher RPM you need to apply to make DCT switch gears up. Right? Do you know what D level is for the standard and sport modes?
I have the UK version 2021 NC750X AM The dashboard is overly complicated and the user manual was written by someone who's command of English is poor. In fact It is sheer gibberish. So the explanation here is a good starting place. Thanks for posting.
