Blender coding oopsie

I know you're not big on using other creators' addons like that but check out kekit ... It's got some really interesting functionality. for example placing a loopcut at the pointer like you mentioned wanting in your blender wishlist vid. Plus some really useful pie menus (overlays, cursor placement, views)

I made an addon that includes all my stuff, Theme and Matcap included. After installing simply click Load Theme from the addon preferences:
