Great movie! I had heard back in the late 70's and I think it was Ralph Nader who said it. Over 40 thousand people a year are killed in hospitals, and I have no problem believing that to be true, only I think the count would be a lot higher nowadays.
Thank you! I have never seen this movie before. They are good in this movie together. Sometimes patients aren’t given the care they need. Understaffed, mistakes in medication etc. It’s a shame when this happens because it doesn’t need to.

Watching this now. Love MTM & James Garner. Took me back to when my mom was a charge nurse in the E.R. She was so proud to wear her nursing cap!! It's a bit dragged out. Yes, doctor smoking back then, no cell phones!!!
Good movie about extraordinary love story, hanginging on and letting go every 2 seconds to every week. Been through most but I learned a few things along the way! Always keep your your medical team in your cares and your prayers up for all. Drs and nurses work long heavy hours,ask if you can help,, my nurses for kids and dad and husband allowed me to do alot. Keep meticulous notes,sleep when you can and God bless your loved ones and you
Exemplifies that people need to allow loved ones to die when the body is letting go. Please let them know they are loved, make them comfortable if possible but let all loved ones hold their hands and give and receive love. The end may come but slow or fast loving is the best for all. Always say you love , you will remember them with love, because you will remember them with love. We are more loving after people pass.. remember this is not about us but about their death and their death experience.
