This was a wonderful story. I hope that any married couple who are have trouble, please talk with one another. Don’t keep things bottled up until it is to late the save a marriage. People must realize that the magic will leave. It is up to both of you to keep the magic going.
Yea, sadly many marriages find out the hard way. The sad thing is that divorce has been turned into a multi billion dollar business and the push for divorce is done so by the evil ones that rule in the world, in turn it fills their pockets with the mula. The youth are living in times like never before.
Wow! This is such a wonderful movie. I pray that all those hurting in one way or the other will start experiencing their healing when they chance to watch this movie and that they will learn to forgive their offenders just like Sydney and her parents did. Tnx to Emma! She's such an angel!
I loved this movie! It has been by God's grace and power that my hubby and I did not give up on each other during the difficult things in life! We will be married 47years this year :)
Ooh what a sweet movie. My parents are still together and this still felt relatable. Because even they are still together that doesn't mean it is always roses and gold. As a teen I was more of the lonely ones that didn't fit in. But what really hit me was at the end the funeral where she puts the picture of them fishing. My grandfather was always there for me and he did a lot for me. So when he died It felt like a deep fall in a dark pit. Because he was the person that gave me the best advice, I could tell him everything. Even the last 3 months of his life he was really sick and I accepted the end is coming. He was just with us. Lucky he wasn't in pain. And I think he would be proud of me. He said always follow your dreams and make each day better than the other one.
I can finally type this somewhere ❤ I have the best step mom in the world ... The best gift God gave my family ❤️ what an inspiration much love from Uganda ❤
What an inspiring movie to all divorced parents n to the new soon to be wife or stepmom ". . I cried at the end of the story .. Nice n very meaningful Movie. For both parents n children.. GOOD JOB who made this movie so inspiring .. TWO THUMBS UP 👍👍
This movie is literally the story of my life. Sydney literally was the person I am and she was even of the same age as me when she had to go through all those hardships. Children having to go through their parents getting divorced is one of the worst things a child can witness and it truely is heart breaking for any teen to face the consequences. This movie is truely worth watching.. Thank u so much for uploading this..
Parents divorce is not a reflection of the Children. Parents shouldn't stay together if the love is no longer there, that can make it worse for many Children to witness. Everyone should be happy, even if it means separating. It doesn't make Parents love their Children any less, it's just life. 💐

Oh my....the movie was so touching and moving. Children who go through a divorce , most of the time their feelings are not taken into consideration and left with deep scars....at times those wounds so deep taken to their grave. This movie really brought those issues into light and into consideration in the healing process that affects all lives involved. It was so good to see how they were resolved...indeed it was good. I myself coming from divorced family, whose both parents are now in heaven now, was moved to tears recalling painful memories as well as thankful for God's loving healing peace that cradled me to rest in his arms of forgiveness...Amen🙏.
me too , I rebelled terribly , was devastated when my mam moved us away to another town because of a job. didnt get to see my lovely dad as much. they have both passed now , miss them so much.
JUST BREATHE, a perfect title for this movie! NOTHING MATTERS IF YOU JUST BREATHE! The divorce ceremony got me teary with the proclamation of love in front of their daughter... What a wonderful character we had in Emma, she never felt unsecured or intimidated with Sydney's presence or all attention she got! I love her for this! And for Lynn, she was able to let go at the end! Weldone, production team!
Emma is a beautiful individual- Ben & Sid’s lucky time have her in their lives . What an emotional movie . Make sure that you got the Kleenex handy - as you will definitely be needing it . Go watch the movie for your self . Thank you
Yes agreed, good I have hearttex at reach. I am so related on the story I am so scared my kids would grow with pain in their hearts as I and their dad are broken up.
I see your point Liza, but frankly - I 100% disagree. Sydney acts as both an individual and a person separate from that of her mother and his father. Emma never saw this because she was too busy being pregnant. In the beginning of act seven, Emma basically abandons Sydney and Sydney’s brother until the dramatic final ending sequence at the local long john silvers, you know what I’m referring to. She only ever saw her in social settings, and you can’t really know a person socially until you get them one on one. I didn’t see one emotional environment in this entire film. While I do see your point about Emma not helping, I would like to counter that and say she could have done it. She could have done the whole thing and not even realized it. She might not have seen it. I think that happens a lot in this film, and I think that’s why this is such a profound mystery. Many characters encounter these similar issues and will never be able to get to the core of what they are truly feeling. The church scene being one of them. While I do appreciate the themes and motifs that this film presents and undertakes, let me just add that I’d like to criticize its reasoning behind them. The core of this movie should be about the use of oxygen and how we excrete it. I’m talking inhalators, respirators, and excavators. The analysis of a simple breath is what I’m really looking for here. Just breathe. A beautiful sentiment that I wish was explored and probed a bit more. Emma’s character would have been perfect for disclosing this because of her constant struggle battling asthma as seen in act 9 at the putt-putt golf tournament. All of that being said, I did enjoy this film for what it was and what it wasn’t, and what it was was a sub par explanation explaining the ins and outs of life, and death. I give it 1.2 index fingers UP ☝️
A movie to watch with a very meaningful way of how members of families show great love to one another. And one thing, forgiveness for what each had done that ruined a family but to be united again with each other as a bigger family. This movie is inspirational.
People with all these negative comments about spoiled child etc fail to understand what this movie is really about. You need to re watch it and try to really listen, pay attention but if you still don't understand maybe you're not ready to look at these kind of movie or you've never been in such situation.

This film is so awesome. Why ? She had everything she needed and then some totally privileged millions of adults struggle to have HALF of that ! And tons of kids have abusive parents and worse, millions don’t even have food or basic care/ necessities. Why is this spoiled Brat have it so tough ...???
Emma is what a parent should be. I love the harsh, controlling parents placed next to the caring, moving-with-life parent. So one sees an example of both and the differnece in the effects
I wish there were more women who are like Emma, so caring and loving as step mums...pray to God to be like her in future coz I got a daughter and am hoping one day I will be married
So beautiful ,so real ,hope that it will inspire more parents that been in a broken relationship ,that they care for there children feelings😒the muvie was great the new wife is amazing👍
It is so important to talk to your kids when your going through a divorce. It makes them feel like they’re part of the problem and it doesn’t have to be that way. And you put your children in the middle of everything it just hurts them so much they want to love both parents equally but the parents there self don’t allow that it’s like they want to get even for their own hurt and it’s not fair to the children they need to learn to step back and feel what your children are feeling. I know it’s hard but it can happen sometimes grown-ups just outgrow their love for each other But they need to take in consideration how their children feel and make it a better place for them I love this movie set a lot and expressed a lot
What a great movie I never been through it my mom and father was married for 37 years , I watched my father bleed to death he died in sept 4 it will be 4 years I was there only when we found out together he was dying I told him it’s a blessing to get ur I love you and goodbyes then I would go outside the room and cry my eyes out . all I can say is everyone enjoy their family it doesn’t last long .. god bless everyone and everyone has a story my father like to drink went to have a colonoscopy they removed the polyps and that was the end of his life he had 28 pints of blood in 4 days . I was the baby girl and that was my life when he died he took my heart with him . How I don’t miss him I struggled for 2 years and now I’m at peace.
It gave me raw perspective of what my kids went through when I split from their dad 😪, and although they’re adults now, I know there is still room for healing.
Psychology Research reports that the age you are when your parents divorce, it will take that long to come to full terms with it so in this girls case 10 years after the divorce! My parents divorced when I was 35 so yeah horrible without counseling.
Thank you so much for this movie. It is Very profound! As many as possible should share this link with families across the country and help us all start healing. Everyone knows someone that could gain a great deal from watching this movie.
Life is always fair. Giving your honest to others, you will receive the wonderful result not just only for yourself, it also fix broken hearts of someone else.
This was a great movie because I think it was realistic. I realize not every divorce can evolve like this one, but it is certainly food for thought. Thanks for the upload.
Very rare to find a woman so strong & wise at such a young age. She not only befriends a troubled & rebellious step-teen, but wisely confronts the ex-wife & her husband. No. 1 rule in any relationship (i.e.is love. Which means transparency, accountability, humility & spending time with each other (indispensable), etc., are things that contribute towards true & lasting relationships. Here we see the second wife doing the thinking & the working. Actually, it's the husband's responsibility & set the right standard (of love & patience) with himself being the example.
@TheLatiosnlatias02 That's what I thought when I was 20. The problem areas are in the area of character & maturity. Character involves kindness (or gentleness) & a humble learning heart. And maturity has to do with growing in the area of love. If both spouses have these qualities, then marriage can be glorious. Of course perfect love covers all these.
If Emma had reacted by feeling threatened and self protected, the story would have completely changed for the worse. So many are broken and stay that way due to unforgiveness and rebellion. This was a beautiful story of healing, in the end. Really beautifully done!
Very touching have tears in ny eyes i remember my dad .. we are broken family ...my dad have another woman only my mom is the foather and the mother of the family😢😢😢
@@eparedes7165 Unless you're dealing with a narcissist, then they just use that as a way in to take advantage and abuse more! Just saying! But that doesn't mean you can't still forgive in your heart and let people go, so yeah, forgiveness works all the time! 😊
Love this movie....watched it numerous times. Emma is the perfect, understanding stepmother. That's a hard role to fill as I know from experience. My stepchildren never accepted me and it is heartbreaking. No matter how hard you try, even 39 years later, and you are still cast aside. Pretty hard to deal with. I wish every time I watch this movie, that my stepchildren would have come around. A person can only dream. Excellent, heartwarming movie. Definitely worth watching!
I totally understand you, your case is as mine, worst of all am the one supporting through everything, I feel like giving up on them. And start saving for biological ones. But I want them to have a future too, It hurts alot because my income is very little to sustain us sometimes.
I couldn't disagree with you more. Emma's actions while selfish and destructive proved to be just that. She learned through her faults that her father was more than just a man. He was her father. An organic being. In essence, they were cut from the same canvas sac. This brings to mind a more pressing query. What happened to Emma's friends? From the beginning of the film we were told of there existence and more importantly there importance, but the film cleverly disguises friendship for betrayal. Do we even really know how the Grandfather died? Did the friends play any part in that? All important themes that I wish were addressed or at least minorly mentioned. Again, this film will go down in the history books as one of the most accurate depictions of divorce in modern western society. Before this, Mrs. Doubtfire paved the way. I remember being a small child, fresh on the road to recovery from my parents divorce, and hoping, nay EXPECTING my father in old woman drag to spy on my mom and her new boyfriend. Sure enough, it happened, and one night -- everything changed. I've heard many different tellings of that same exact experience throughout the world. Not everyone's dad chooses old lady drag, however. There are lots of options. One thing I will say, is that using a celebrity for your drag is far less believable for instances such as this, and it is a mistake that many men make. That being said, some do stay in drag and keep it a beloved lifelong hobby. This experience was singular and one I will cherish like that of Emma. Sydney's use of profanity and drug use did make this film interesting and sad. Her tone deafness and blatant inability to play the guitar was both insulting and degrading but.... I would still give this film a solid 1.1 index fingers up.
It is tough on the children of divorced parents. They miss the love, stability, and guidance of having a mom and a dad at home. Some relationships are incompatible making divorce the best option plus it is better for the children to not hear constant fighting. Love your children. Think if them and make them feel wanted in spite of your personal problems. Wonderful story. Enjoy.
Emma teach us how to live with positivity . whereas all the child are effected by their parents divorce, Emna showed how to build trust and save the own family. At the end of the movie Sidney is really blessed to having step mom like her . ❤
i really like emma because she is a kind of person has a good heart & understanding the broken family just only purpose of cindy to guide in a right way ..very interesting watching from philippines
Not sure I have ever seen a movie on this important subject before. Very good job. Parents need to remember the effect divorce had on children. Children need to know that the love parents have for them does not end with a divorce. Divorce is not about the child, but it effects them in significant ways
No she had everything a kid could want very privileged there are millions starving and without basic necessities, or care, millions more euth abusive evil parents.
Cute movie! I was a child of a 36 year old widowed mother as my dad passed away! It was hard at first seeing my mum with a different man! But I am so glad my story is almost a movie version as my step dad is the most amazing man I could have ever asked for to stand by my mothers side! 20 plus years later and there still a beautiful couple ❤️☀️
This is exactly what happens to children whose parents have a violent argumentative marriage and divorce. Those kids feel unwanted, rejected and guilty all the time. Parents are guilty of excluding their children when making decisions that affect these children's lives. The father and mother of this child were acting like selfish children themselves al the argumentative conversations does not fix anything. The Stepmother was the HERO in this story and her actions brought healing and forgiveness in the situation. It proves again. NO ONE can fight LOVE, compassion and kindness and wisdom. In the end that is the only thing that makes sense
A truly inspirational movie. People don't seem to realize that children of divorced parents are hurt more deeply and more permanently than are the parents.

I love the harsh, controlling parents placed next to the caring, moving-with-life parent. So one sees an example of both and the differnece in the effects
I wish there were more women who are like Emma, so caring and loving as step mums...pray to God to be like her in future coz I got a daughter and am hoping one day I will be married
i also do and kindly subscribe to my channel here ruclips.net/video/41KimZRIMCI/видео.html

It shook me emotionally wen step mom picks her up....coz tS concern I never got from my mom...its so touchy guys...
God has your back, he will restore your soul and all you have lost in the process

Thankyou for shareing your story. You a witness and blessed to be one.
Loved this movie. Thanks so much for upload. I need to show it to a young someone who's going through this. Emma is a gold standard social worker!! 👌
I loved Emma’s character right from the beginning ❤ It’s too perfect for the real life. Just Breathe ! 😀
It gave me raw perspective of what my kids went through when I split from their dad 😪, and although they’re adults now, I know there is still room for healing.
Psychology Research reports that the age you are when your parents divorce, it will take that long to come to full terms with it so in this girls case 10 years after the divorce! My parents divorced when I was 35 so yeah horrible without counseling.
no need to read comments for Johnson's production. best among all movie channels. i am addicted to it🎉❤❤❤
Thank you so much for this movie.
Thanks for the upload.
what a great movie. Best step mum ever. The world would be a better place if we would could behave like Emma

This comment made me cry 😢😢😢
Reminds me of my family
Well this movie remains me of my dad. 🥺🥺 he wasn't a good father but i always forgive him. Thanks for the movie 🥰🥰🤗
FORGIVENESS works all the time Thank you Prasarn tom
@@eparedes7165 Unless you're dealing with a narcissist, then they just use that as a way in to take advantage and abuse more! Just saying! But that doesn't mean you can't still forgive in your heart and let people go, so yeah, forgiveness works all the time! 😊
Tom, I feel deep down you are or will be a real true Dad. All the best to you always.
@@eparedes7165 yes indeed 🙏😇
@@keh-dalia809 thank you so much :) all the best to you as well 🥰😇🙏
Emma is everything is this movie.
Very beautiful movie. Emma's character amazes me. I hope if circumstances happen, I hope Emma's attitude will be at the hearts of every women.
Love this movie....watched it numerous times. Emma is the perfect, understanding stepmother. That's a hard role to fill as I know from experience. My stepchildren never accepted me and it is heartbreaking. No matter how hard you try, even 39 years later, and you are still cast aside. Pretty
hard to deal with. I wish every time I
watch this movie, that my stepchildren
would have come around. A person can
only dream. Excellent, heartwarming
movie. Definitely worth watching!
I’m sorry that you had to deal with all that.
I totally understand you, your case is as mine, worst of all am the one supporting through everything, I feel like giving up on them. And start saving for biological ones. But I want them to have a future too, It hurts alot because my income is very little to sustain us sometimes.
Her stepmom is so sweet.
Hello
Sweet Faith....
she's also beautiful
Teens listen to your parents, they know you more than your friends do. Great family movie. The pandemic brought me here😀
Really? These parents seemed utterly clueless to me. Except for Emma.
A heart-wrenching story. The whole world turned upside down made it more so. Whoever is out there please save the world.
alakeshwar jayanarayan 😢😢😢😢😭
All the more reasons to develop and trust strong family values.
Absolutely lovely film!!!! Emma was such a beautiful character!!!! Thank you for this film.
Enjoy.
Wouldn't it be good if divorced people could carry on with their children as intact as possible. Love instead of lack of forgiveness.
If all Step moms where like Emma yhis world would be so much better for the rising generation.
true
Emma possess wonderful kindness ..just love and faith like her in every relations in life.. Its seems change in our life and ultimately makes perfect!
Emma teach us how to live with positivity . whereas all the child are effected by their parents divorce, Emna showed how to build trust and save the own family.
At the end of the movie Sidney is really blessed to having step mom like her . ❤
Very emotional and inspirational
The stepmom was an angel it's hard to find a stepmom like that in real life
i really like emma because she is a kind of person has a good heart & understanding the broken family just only purpose of cindy to guide in a right way ..very interesting watching from philippines
Nice seeing a stepmom be loving in that way ❤
That girl is lucky to have such a great step mother I would have lost patience no doubt about it. Such a beautiful calm soul EMMA❤❤
wow great step mom ever Emma love you.
Love, Truth And Sincere Honesty Heals Everything. Well Done. A Really Nice Movie.
Wowo just in case you’re here looking for a great movie to watch this is the perfect one and trust me it won’t leave you the same 🥺🥺🥺
Not sure I have ever seen a movie on this important subject before.
I'm very happy for you. Thankyou for shareing.
Another story that reminds me the importance of family.
Hello
Sometime we don't realice how much kids suffer with their parents divorce.
Good movie..good messege
Just wow.. i wish all step moms are like Emma fantastic ❤
I wish all parents could be like Emma, cause then there would be no need for children to have to worry about divorce and having step parents. 😁
No absolutes. I came from this and did not get into trouble. I was a ‘miss goody 2 shoes’.
Emma is a beautiful soul mercy and grace! Truly a woman with a good heart...Good movie!
I love how Emma has a way of making sindey feel love
Recognized Brittney Wilson (Sydney) from Home by Christmas. Good movie.
Great movie. Great acting. Couldn't hold back my tears again and again. The divorce scene finished me off ❤ ❤❤
