Wtf…stumbled across this video and thought what heck, I’ll see how his review is. Was NOT expecting the quality. GxAce, wow dude. Keep up the good work and great cinematography. You are single handedly rewriting the video review world with these videos. New sub. Now I’m going to go watch all your videos :)
Yeah man I feel that in every GxAce video! First time I came across his channel I was mesmerized! He instantly shot up to the top of my favorite photography related youtube channels!
Time and time again, I'm always amazed at the creativity this channel has, the writing it has, the execution it has, and the quality of examples relating to the product(s) being talked about. Salute to you man !!! SUBSCRIBED ! A long time ago at that. Keep killing it man !
One of my favorite things about your videos is every single video there's a new viewer getting surprised by how excellent your cinematography is. It's an absolute treat to see.
@@MnFilmCO Depends tho, they are not the best 1.5x lenses if you want clean footage. Vintage look? 100% the better choice, but yeah these Nanomorphs are also amazing!
Sirui Saturn are full frame and the Laowa's are S35. The Saturn's don't focus anywhere as close. They are about 3ft minimum. I own and use the Saturns on my full frame camera. :)
Another awesome video. Love your content. Just bought your Master Collection preset pack. Happy to contribute and help you keep making mode of this content. Cheers from Toronto.
I just realised I still love a regular, straight to the point camera or lens review. I mean I love your videos but when I just want to decide on whether to buy a lens or not I just like a simple review. Your productions are more of a treat not when i'm trying to make a serious financial decision.
Awsome video! But PLEASE turn on the volume of your voice (maybe sidechain the background music to it or something..) As a non native english speaker, while being pretty much fluent I had a lot of issues understanding what you were saying because your voice being so low in volume and blending into the music
Awesome video, 2001 was shot with spherical lenses though :D I would love for more manufacturers to add firmware updates allowing anamorphic desqueeze in camera. It's OK framing the squeezed image without a monitor but definitely not as fun. And with these small nanomorphs, I don't want to bring a monitor in a compact hybrid video setup. I feel like Fuji could drive a lot of attention/sales if they added this to the H2S/T5/H2/S20. I think Lumix offers a couple models and of course cine focused cameras like the FX3/Sigma FP but that's about it.
All the video looks amazing and the music is great. Is it custom just for this video? It fits the feel sand changes in ambiance pretty well. The raspy voice I would scrap. It made the audio unbearable. Other than that everything looks amazing. If I wanted to make some very ambitious video I would go buy these lenses just from your examples here. Great presentation. Love the content! Congrats!!! You could totally do a proper "Ghost in the Shell" short adaptation. This looked more cyberpunk than the hollywood version of it. 👍
Truly awesome lenses! It reminded me of when I originally started working in 3D visualisation and we would scale our 4:3 renders to 16:9 anamorphic. Obviously not the same. But what I kept wondering is, if your headsets had some actual functionality??? It looked like you had some type of lightfield lens passthrough going on there?
Perfect... As always... BUT is there a chance to get the links to the songs? :-D I know the first one is Bayt Lahm - Ryan Taubert (ruclips.net/video/aao9vohLHjA/видео.htmlsi=z8mgwaFbQ98nTVXc) but what about the second one? And the rest? Sorry, but I just love your selection
2:34 Could someone elaborate on what makes this the "perfect balance"? I want to shoot anamorphic with my Fuji X-T3 and I was aiming for a 2x squeeze factor as I understand that this is the standard with anamorphic Hollywood films. Will I not like the results for some reason?
This video is so well-executed on all fronts. If it isnt too invasive, I'd LOVE to know how you treated the audio to create the robotic vocal effect. It's so so good. Keep up the amazing work!
Hi, I’m a recent subscriber to your channel and really dig your production work. Is there a chance you would do any how-to’s in the future? Just as a peak behind the curtain. Thanks.
Dog can you list inspirations ? Mostly for the physical tech. I’m trying to build a similar cyberpunk aesthetic but I feel I’m lacking in certain departments.
Everytime i watch your videos i cant belive your quallity. the story telling, the shots, the setup. Everything is just like a different world and its truly amazing cinematography. Thank you
Buying the lens alone will not turn ur video into cinema looking or like this RUclipsr. Dont waste your money on lens, focus on lighting. Thats more important; thats how you achieve the cinema look.
I can hardly hear you talk over the music. This isn't the first piece of yours that i've had that issue. You should bring your voice over volume up and turn your sound effects and music down.
Hello GX ! Love your videos ❤ really awesome work ! One question though, how do you get your subtitles to have halation and light bloom ? When I tried to grade with my subs in DR it was all over the place, definitely not like yours ahahah thx !
Nanomorphs + GxAce + Japan is literally the perfect combination

GxAce is one of my most trusted cinema-gear reviewers because he directly displays just how incredibly skilled he is in every video.
why does it feel illegal to watch this content for free
the irony that your youtube vids have more soul than 95% of full-features in hollywood
Feel the same way about "Melodysheep" both of these channels have a startling love for creativity that truely shines threw
Let’s also give Laowa a hand for designing a symmetrically perfect and yet sublimely elegant logo!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😎👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

I have a Sirui saturn 50mm. Looking to expand. Any major advantange these have over the Sirui other than maybe focus distance?
pricetag on these is still painful
How do you rate them vs the Sirui Saturn series ? :)

the only channel whose videos I have to play on the home theater
One of the finest creators ive even seen on youtube.
Do you find yourself using the 35mm or 50mm more?

It’s great to see more of you in your videos Ace
The music choice and absolutely beautiful compositions in this video are insane. So high quality and stylistic this is an instant sub
Kodak Aero Ektar - the perfect lens since WWII
~$1200 for a 35mm prime is not "affordable"
Take 1k off that price and you have an affordable lens.
It would appear you are not familiar with how much money anamorphic lenses historically have cost.

I discovered this channel by chance in the early morning, I have seen every video, this is art in the purest form
You got something really weird going on with your mic

Great Video as usual, Can you do a review on the Blazar Remus Anamorphic lenses Please Please Please!
I’m really hoping for a xh2s video so I have that “GxAce made a video so I have to buy it” confidence

New to videography. If I could choose one of these lenses which one should I take and which flare color?
The video looks amazing!!!
That track with the shutter sounds... 😌👌
why not just crop a regular video?besides resolution?
Anamorphic lenses have different optical characteristics than spherical lenses.
