After a few years hauling produce I started with a moving company (1976). That's where I really learned "take your time and do it right the first time" whether it's strap placement on electronics or cars or padding properly. Hauled a lot of vehicles with HHG decked over them cleared by inches. Always admired the Reliable drivers for their equipment. Miss it bad!

@Jackson Reed Was also jealous of you flatbed guys getting forklifts to do the heavy lifting....try loading/unloading 3,000 sq. ft. of HHG...by hand!

The real challange today is finding reliable people who want to work hard, and who wants to be committed to one company. Many people jump from one company to another looking for the best company while not improving. Many want to be owner operators. It's very painful when you educate people, they work a few months and leave you.
