I'm not entirely familiar with Yu-Gi-Oh rules, if Shuttleroid banished itself does that mean the attack fizzles? If so that's obviously really good against decks that aim to throw out one single massive monster.
@@shfaker6719 true enough, a unique solution to the problem is kind of fun though. Meta is boring, Yu-Gi-Oh doesn't really have the room for new metas though since everything has to either win quickly or prevent your opponent from winning quickly so you can get your alternate strategy on board.
The effect part only say that player need to control true exodia and the rest of parts can be on either side of the field so the easiest way I can think is get true exodia off some way like saryuja or AFD and the parts can be pend summon using supreme king donut as pend scale and card to give control of monster and fill the rest with whatever draw engine to draw the whole deck for cards

Another notable card still not released in TCG even after being in OCG for like 10 years is Holactie the Creator of Light which appeared as a character in the final arc of Yugioh DM anime. It's the combination of all the Egyptian god cards.

magi magi is why ebon illusion has the “special summon using a rank 6” effect - magi magi (DMG) was supposed to be able to rank up to ebon illusion (DM), but with there being no MMMG in TCG, this is not possible. (Sure you could use Norito if you wanted to, but a) who is playing norito in DM/norito at all, and b) norito is meant to be used with CXyz Simon)
Honestly, it would be nice if Konami just realized that most of the game’s remaining player base has grown up, and that they accordingly release the cards that they hold back for censorship reasons like Magi Magi ☆ Magician Gal. Yu-Gi-Oh is more of a Teenager’s card game these days instead of a children’s one.

Kazuki Takahashi drew the artwork for several cards but only a handful are the "Kaz" signature cards with tricky copyright. Toon dark magician girl, the cubics, the first 5 elemental heros, an des voltsgaph were all drawn by Kaz, but they were works for hire, so they belong to Konami. The signature cards use artworks that were created for Kaz' personal portfolio, then licensed to appear on cards. For example, Magi magi magician girl is actually repurposed from a drawing of dark magician girl.
From what I know, the Takahashi print cards were kept out because the man said that he wouldn't let the cards be made in the West if they had to censor his artwork, and because the West was never going to buckle (until they did for a few), we are never getting cards like Magi Magi Magician Gal because of this.
From what I heard for certain ones that Takahashi made the arts on, they were kept in a high-exclusive promotion event in Japan, so they only have printed a few (probably like 500 meaning) during that event.
Some of those Normal monsters we did up getting in speed duel boxes funnily enough. Gigarays Gandora is probably the biggest offender. A card that straight up appeared in a movie and is in Master Duel. Somehow never made it here though

You know wha'ts crazier than Gandora? They never released Holactie the Creator of Light in the west - you know, the game winner that requires you to sack the three gods? That was a climactic anime/manga card and we never got it.
There is a massive number of Yu-Gi-Oh cards that never made it to the US. For example there are two different versions of the guardians that allow you to reduce the attack of your opponent's creatures, both were printed in the US but at significantly different times, their effect fusion has two different versions as well one with the ability to reduce the attack or defensive numbers three times a turn and one with no abilities, the God cards had three different versions of which the US only got two one that was completely unplayable in the US and the updated version much later on. The actual ones originally playable in Japan and the second version didn't come to the US in a playable version. There was also a fusion monster between two cards that were fairy and could deal damage to the opponent even if their monster was in defensive position one allowed the owner to draw a card the other made the opponent discard a card, the fusion made the opponent discard two and the controller draw two and if the opponent didn't have enough cards in hand to discard two then they put a number equal to the difference into their graveyard. There are many more than just those that I listed I think that the total number is over 500 but the last one I remember off the top of my head is a fusion of jenzo and a monster that negated magic and you needed to have a special spell card on the field or in your hand to make a single monster that negated all spells, traps, and monster effects of your opponents. I almost forgot about a special field trap card that doubled all of your field slots and the same for your normal summons, and cards drawn but cost you 3000 life at the end of your turn and if your opponent would lose you must pay 3000 life or they don't.

Here in the uk, when i was about 7 or 8, my parents bought me the first starter deck yugi, and my brother the first kaiba, that we found - this was around 2001/2. Those decks had some cards in it that I've never seen again since, including in all the SDY & K we ever bought afterward. And one of them is on this video.
My personal guess is that Shuttleroid came out with GX which happened shortly after the Challenger Incident and stockholders got anxious about their stonks

If it's legal reasons, I'd just make TCG-exclusive cards with identical effects with "This card's name is always treated as True Exodia", but a different printed name and art. That way they didn't technically change the art, they just made a different card with new art that does the same thing.

I played the OCG exclusively for most of highschool. I loved the uncensored art but I don't speak Japanese... I had memorized every card effect in my deck with extreme precision just to make sure all the rules were being followed when I restated the effects to my opponents... I can't believe I managed that for so long back then. But even my opponents were in awe of the uncensored demons and women so they didn't mind it; especially since the game was so much slower back in the early 00's so you had time to take in translated effects vs nowadays, where it's a wiki entry per card in a 30 card combo all played in a single turn. Aint nobody got time to translate any of that.

Maybe but churches don't want their cross being depicted on these. I remember a time when my school banned Yu-Gi-Oh cause they claimed it promoted devil worship. So if a teacher saw you playing either after school or lunch time they would try to take you deck and call your parents. Other countries have similar groups that Konami wants to avoid triggering so they just censor anything these people complain about

I'm actually salty that we don't have those early Normal monsters. A lot of their art looks great and I want them.
If it's legal reasons, I'd just make TCG-exclusive cards with identical effects with "This card's name is always treated as True Exodia", but a different printed name and art. That way they didn't technically change the art, they just made a different card with new art that does the same thing.
From a 1 year old Reddit post:
* Gandora Ray, Ankuriboh, Yorishiro of the Aqua, Starring Knight, True Exodia -> Konami will most likely import those cards one day. Its just that Konami decides to import other cards than these.
* Holactie -> Won't see import since only 10,000 copies of that card was released in Japan. Not to mention, Kazuki Takahashi is already dead.
* Nanana, Light Bringer -> These cards are promos/collabs with other copyrights (TV Tokyo, Monster Strike gacha game). You'll likely won't see them released in the TCG.
The power pro cards, potato chip card are in the same category with the second one.

I havr all of these still from the original booster pack. They discontinued it though after the backlash for probably the grin reaper look cause i never seen them again outside of my collection.

I played the OCG exclusively for most of highschool. I loved the uncensored art but I don't speak Japanese... I had memorized every card effect in my deck with extreme precision just to make sure all the rules were being followed when I restated the effects to my opponents... I can't believe I managed that for so long back then.
But even my opponents were in awe of the uncensored demons and women so they didn't mind it; especially since the game was so much slower back in the early 00's so you had time to take in translated effects vs nowadays, where it's a wiki entry per card in a 30 card combo all played in a single turn. Aint nobody got time to translate any of that.

Maybe but churches don't want their cross being depicted on these. I remember a time when my school banned Yu-Gi-Oh cause they claimed it promoted devil worship. So if a teacher saw you playing either after school or lunch time they would try to take you deck and call your parents. Other countries have similar groups that Konami wants to avoid triggering so they just censor anything these people complain about
I think the tcg censoring everything is honestly a shame, in some cases of course like the harpy ladies it’s kinda needed but I don’t see why they’d have to censor every single little thing
