For those wondering, yes you can build the original ZZ Ver.ka and the ZZ Enchanced Ver ka from all the parts in this kit- simply look up the manual for either version online depending on which one you want to build. You can build the original ZZ Ver ka rifle and you have parts for both back packs, shields and arms which allow you to mount them.

@@lupinxiang154 maybe one day we will get it, but no. It is a novel with the Gundam hobby magazine where they made custom Gunpla, take photo, and put it into story. However because of that, Bandai and Sunrise do not have the copy right to the human characters in the story. That is one reason that this story is is not widely known to people.

The human figure should probably be Shin Crypt not Judo. The guy who later pilot S gundam. This model of ZZ is from Gundam Sentinel
But it's just a leftover from the ZZ runners so it's still molded as Judao
I think Ryou Roots is the one who piloted the S Gundam but A.L.I.C.E. did all the work.

They usually don't give out that many extra parts. The old version didn't have the wing shields at all.

@@boeingnz Yeah, that was an exception to the rule. That doesn't mean you should expect majority of gunpla products to follow that anomaly. In fact, many recent kits are being overpriced more often than not.
I was also surprised back then when looking at MG Stein's price which was the same as MG Sinanju. It was crazily underpriced considering the residual plastic from original MG Sinanju and the included bazooka. Maybe someone at Bandai was drunk when slapping a price at Stein. Or maybe they were just feeling generous at the time.
@@androyus my point is that you don't have to buy 2 different kits. Whatever the extra cost is less than buying another kit.
@@boeingnz This new FAZZ Ka MG is twice the price of the old FAZZ MG. I don't know about you, but If I can choose, I'd rather Bandai charge me less for FAZZ Ka so that I can buy either the old MG FAZZ or the old MG Full Armor ZZ (anime ver.) even if i need to add a few hundred Yen instead of getting so much leftover parts.

Had my eye on the ZZ and then saw this and couldn't resist. The color scheme is so nice and the head looks absolutely amazing. I managed to snag this for less than $90 with 2 day shipping and I am very excited to start it, but i gotta clear this backlog first.
I hope we get a Theta Plus kit at some point, which is effectively a FAZZ that can actually transform and was built for mass production

i feel like even if it can transform, they probably didnt program it to do so since the armor cant be remove in first place
Lore wise it can't transform. But since this kit uses the same mold as the ZZ, it has the transforming parts to do so
Ping Tim Hwong wait the full armor ZZ was made to purge its armor, but if it did it still would be missing its arm wings so would transforming cause problems
Scarlet Rain In space ? Not really. On earth ? Yeah without that shield wing, transforming is a bad idea.

Spoil what ? Full Armor ZZ (blue model) comes out for like 5 mins in the penultimate episode and is never seen again. FAZZ (white armor) isn't in the anime altogether :/
Sazabi4prez Well that’s simply. The three FAZZ units that were assigned to task force alpha were eventually destroyed by Brave Cod and his Gundam MK V.

I agree that Ver.Ka kits can be a bit intimidating. I got the V2 Gundam. It's behaved mostly fine. The core fighters are a bit touchy and the full mobile suit mode sometimes seems like it is not fully together. It still looks great though.
Mines on the way, I was so happy when this was announced, it's basically a zz version of the g3, great colours, big, chonky and the cannon, oh the CANNON!

@@caboose4631 That's basically the same color scheme, the G3 colors were one of Tomino's original choices for the gundam to make it appear as a war machine, before Bandai forced him to make it toyetic.

the logistics of the double zeta always pissed me off, its marginally more sensible than its conceptual descendant the Impulse, but its a set of vehicles that coalesce into one mobile suit, it has 4 cockpits across 3 core-fighters and a gun, but it only needs one of them to operate assembled, and presumably the core top and core base only need one core fighter between them to operate separately at all because there's a cockpit in the fucking gun on the core top
the model kit having two corefighters is infuriating as well because its either not enough or entirely redundant depending on who you ask
You may need to reevaluate your life...

Don't be mad. You can still display the old FAZZ with the new FAZZ coz there are more than one unit in canon.

you probably know already know that you can build the ZZ forearms with the extra parts you get, also can put the ZZ parts for the back of the ankles on the FAZZ. and the shorter shoulder pieces and the covers for the cameras. just got this kit and I'm going to have to get another just to have the grey and blue/purple ZZ since I don't really like the coloration for the ZZ. as you said you can't build the ZZ backpack but that isn't a real issue in my opinion.

The ZZ head is missing the polycap. The neck isn't new. Also you can build the full Advanced ZZ.

was not expecting gundarium tear! i was going to buy this reguardless because my favorite gundam ever is "FATZ" and my favorite color is lavendar, but my goodness I am so happy that a FAZZ stands as one of the best master grades out there! Bandai have really neglected the Zeta gundams until now, so i can only hope that we can later get a good zeta kit that is not another experimental new line of model kickstarter, as he was one of the first PG, MG, MG 2.0, RG, and Gunpla Evolutions, and did not get the fullest of love those lines now offer

...As for me I need to scratch that gunpla fix...I have seven master grades and three perfect grades that need decals so I’ll give that a go! And also maybe giving top coats a go! To you or anyone watching any top coat recommendations? I was looking at krylon cause it’s more readily available and usually can get it in bigger cans so more bang for your buck, or has there been anything new?
Krylon is utter shit. Don't bother. Mr Hobby is the best that I've used.

@@Gioven740 it depends on the MG you're working on. If it's something around the size of the F91 then 1 can is enough but any larger I would buy 2 just in case.

The amount of extra parts is intimidating. The kit intrigues me, but I don't want to be stuck with them, unless I can sell the extra parts.
Just leave the parts in a bag, not that big of a problem.
I expected it but the armored front mono skirt is disappointing. They should have just put it on a ball joint or something to give it more motion
Wow I just built the 1999 FAZZ, not to long ago and the part similarities are uncanny
The zz head is also missing the silver part at the center of the high mega cannon
