I remember the 1st Boeing 747 ever built and flown in back in the day, now the 747-400 and 747-8i are way way advanced and if God be good to me, maybe i will have a chance to fly in them, what a marvel. I hope Boeing keeps advancing the 747 but not changing the design too much. I LOVE it.
I love watching these take off and landing videos brings back so many happy memories of going off on holiday. Going back to Orlando next September with either Virgin or British Airways.
Love 747's.A beautiful aircraft. That was just a dream so very long time to have a flight by 747.Now i'm happy having that experience.Take off is my favorite of a flight. Soon to have my 1st flight with A380.
Lovely take off. The smell, the thrust and the views especially piercing through the clouds into the blue I love. Just got back from Australia on BA 747 and can't wait until I fly to Zimbabwe next year!
Bang sound =It is the rear landinggear wheels ( the outer ones ) tilting JUST after they leave the ground, one side goes down, the other goes up, cause the " bang " sound. Basically the lower gear stops against the leg, when it swings to one side.
I have Watched so Many of your Amazing Video's and i liked them so much .... You are very talented, I already Subscribed to your Channel and please keep Uploading amazing FSX Video's
wow - excellent video! I will fly from London Heathrow to New York JFK with British Airways in 3 weeks in May :) I think that flight will be a boeing 747 as well. Thanks for sharing this video!
Hi there. Great video! I'm off to Phoenix in August. I have to admit I haven't flown with BA for some time, so it will be interesting to see what's new.
Something called gear up seperation. When the controllers calculate the sep they look at the SID and the aircraft type and calculate the route seperation and the wake vortex seperation. For example a WOBUN SID on 27L followed by MID would be gear up sep. However if the WOBUN was a 747 (Heavy) and the MID was an A320 (Medium) then the delay would be 2 mins because of the wake vortex sep being higher than the route sep. If both aircraft where a 747 (Heavy) then gear up seperation would be issued
I don't think that has been confirmed. If anything, many believe the A380 will not be on this route immedietly because the US market is driven by frequency more than capacity, and the A380 would reduce the former. In due time we'll see it on the route, but I believe Hong Kong is the only destination that has gotten the green light by BA so far.
how did you find the flight. I am scheduled to fly this flight in april and was wondering what the flight was like and how the seats where. I was surprised that the economy class was so small!
Thanks, what is your opinion on the seat/position/reclining? Thanks that would be great:) going on a ba 747 flight to NY soon, want to get the best seat
I don't think FAA would allow that over here...especially after the AA Airbus-300 that crashed do to pilot error and being to close to another plane that had just departed before him.
i have a video coming out soon of BA 747 takeoff from heathrow on that exact runway, headed to Vancouver, but on mine, the engines sounded A LOT Rougher and Harsher! not to try and promote my channel, but, i do have a video looking round the cockpit of it, because i was allowed to look after the flight!
My opinion of pilots has changed over the years, the older pilots...from my perspective took flying and safety more seriously....even a 747 or A-380 is affected by vortex'es created in the wake of a planes engines and wings...kwim? air traffic controllers and too many planes in the air create potential errors. I was plane spotting 20 years ago in salt lake, an incoming 727 had to abort a landing because a 767 was still rolling down the runway.
I don't understand why it came up like that, because that's not how it appeared when I typed it. But the point I was making was, why would anyone dislike this movie.
granted when things go bad in the air...it aint like yah can call 911 or jump out of plane...doomed because of complacent pilots/training...that do not know how to fly by seat of the pants and then become dependent on ECMs. A-330 plane went down from complaceny...and because todays pilots are not like the old ones...remote control with a joystick. computers just relay info..whether its correct or false..a great seat of the pants pilot knows his plane well..more so when trouble happens.

I'm flying from London Heathrow to JFK New York in 5 days! Can't wait!
It is crushing to think we will never experience this again.
Lovely take off. The smell, the thrust and the views especially piercing through the clouds into the blue I love. Just got back from Australia on BA 747 and can't wait until I fly to Zimbabwe next year!
I love the kids squealing with excitement at about 1:28 !
I loved the take off roll sequence, awesome wing view and power thrust
Thanks :)
You can be 100% sure that I didn't want to underestimate the skills of your eyes, but just to increase the excitement during the engine spool up ;)
EXCELLENT video, beautyfull wing view and take off sound . Absolutely fantastic. KEEP IT UP

I flew with an A340 and a 747, have to say the 747 took a lot longer to take off... I was getting a little bit worried! :D thanks for the upload!
nice video. so close between your take off and the plane ahead of you. thought wake turbulence would have delayed that a few more minutes

BA is also deciding to send its first a 380 with PAX to LAX and HKG. But SIN is among the BA a380 destinations.

PEK, HKG and SIN are among destinations for BA a 380s. BA will receive its first a 380 in july.
The American Airlines is a Boeing 777. Nice video!
Nice takeoff

looks soooo realistic LOL LOOOOL
nice!
Wow, they allow a 747 to take off just before or near where the AA just barely left the ground?
Thanks.

man who says money can't buy happiness..??
great vid, what seat?

What's the different between 767 and 777...both look similar? Can you help?
tnx
