I rode around in a Rogue last summer while my car was being worked on. I absolutely loved this suv. I tell ya, I'm going to buy one when my current car conks out. Even though it's a 3 banger, it's a turbo. Excellent mileage with power. IMHO it's a winner.

2023 and we love it. Best bang for you bucks. It has a light in cargo area above the rear door. No light in glove box so that kinda sucks but you can still see inside of it with cabin lights. Power is really good fuel mileage is great sun roof rocks. Be easy on the transmission till broken in and do your break in on the engine correct and this little SUV will last a long time.

I just wear long pants. At this price point that's not going to be a common luxury, and it's a luxury that pretty recent historically speaking. I think it's silly that heated seats are so common these days since they're not exactly free nor needed.

I own two rogues. A 2016 and a 2018. Two words, fucked transmissions. We’ve replaced the 2016 transmission twice now at 5k each. The 2018 needs to be replaced, but they want 12k for that one. I’ll never buy Nissan again.

Thanks for the video 👍. Went to my Nissan dealer to check out the newly styled Pathfinder. Had no intention of even looking at the Rogue. I despised the old styling. Then I noticed the Rogue in the showroom in Boulder Gray. I was impressed with the new look. Further impressed with the interior. Was a little nervous upon hearing that the powerplant was a 3cyl Turbo with CVT. Went back home and poured over many reviews with driving impressions. Objectively many stated the newer CVT was not a deal breaker and the Engine was impressive. So I went back to the dealership and signed on the dotted line for a Platinum trim with Platinum Premium Package Rogue in Boulder Gray. The Pathfinder was awesome but I didn't like the high price for the trim level I wanted and to be honest, I didn't need the extra space or third row seat. For me, the size of the new Rogue was more than sufficient. Would I like to see a bit more horsepower in the Rogue? Yes I would. I think 250hp would be nice and bump up the Torque numbers too. Other things I'd like to see in the Platinum trim are Power-fold Sideview Mirrors. Comes in real handy when driving in city limits and needing to squeeze through double parked vehicles. Would like Nissan to do away with the CVT and replace it with the 9-speed trans that is in the Pathfinder. Would also like to see a power tilt and telescoping Steering Wheel as an option or included with the Platinum trim. Maybe for 2024. I can't wait for delivery of my Platinum Rogue .

2023 Rogue-Do not recommend! Gas smell inside cabin and outside of car. The smell did not start right away but was noticeable after about 2000 miles. Took the Rogue to Nissan dealership, and they said Nissan is aware of the issue and that the Rogue is under Engineering Review. Nissan dealership said they checked for gas leaks to make sure there was no safety problem, but that there was nothing else to do until Nissan issues a recall or figures out a fix for wherever the gas is leaking. Dealership said I had to be able to visually see leak and not just smell gasoline for them to do more. I hope I can trust that my Rogue is actually safe while we wait on this fix. Another point is gas mileage is way below window sticker estimate. I stay in the mid 20s for gas mileage even though I drive on Eco. Disappointing to have a brand new Nissan with no fix. I would not recommend for anyone else to buy a 2023 Rogue until they have a fix unless you want to be stuck with no loaner car while yours is in the service department not getting fixed.

    • @metalmanny666

    • @richdc7654

Interesting. I test drove one yesterday and the salesman insisted on opening the passenger side window. He claimed it was for visibility because of a sticker on the window. But now I know it was for another reason. I only got about 25 mpg on my test drive and was in Eco mode the whole time. Too bad coz I liked a lot about the car.

You can add the led fog lights through your dealer for about $7-800 with installation. They sell it under accessories now 🤦🏻‍♂️ but I mean do Mercedes or BMW really have fog lights? I kinda see why they’re taking them away when I think about it. Save them for Infiniti if anything.

I see no changes from my 2021 Nissan Rogue SV Premium 😑. I’ll be happy if they add Ventilated Seat and Massage Driver side. Guess I’ll be trading my car for that 2023 Hyundai Palisade

Nissan ProPilot is in no way a level 2 system. Hands must be on the steering wheel all the time and its main function is just helping with lane centering.
