Different pull studs that look similar is a big problem for the robodrill. I have 3 different types of bt30 pull studs, it only accepts the 45 degree. if you use one of the 60 degree pullstuds it will launch the tool out the spindle as soon as the drawbar clamps down.
Oh no! that's not good. We only have one machine (robo) that uses size 30 holders. Sometimes, a student will put a tool into the carousel without a pull stud. That's always fun, but they learn quickly afterward.

Is there a difference between cat30 vs bt30?
Cat40 vs bt40?
The difference is the Threads. Cat 40 has 5/8-11 thread and BT 40 has a M16x2
