I always love hearing how a song came to be. This classic rock song was always played because it really hit home with its lyrics and sound. It was really nice to hear the song's story!!!
I have always loved Bachman-Turner Overdrive since I was in my early teens! And I now have a newfound appreciation for Randy Bachman and his brother Robbie. Always loved the Guess Who and Burton Cummings! And Randy Bachman is the greatest storyteller ever, letting us know how these songs came about. ROCK ON GUYS‼️
Just watched Stan Greenberg on show called This is Pop, talking about the Brill and all its music and his mother.Started to laugh when I realized this was the guy Randy always talks about.
I love the story, but.. it's not true. Look up Norman Durkee and his work as a session player at the studio the same time that BTW was recording this tune. Pizza is mixed into the story but he wasn't the delivery guy.
All the Best Randy from your Good Friend Mark From Maple 🍁 Grove Mn USA ❤
Thank you for sharing this, it was fun to watch and listen to.
Randy is a true inspiration and gentleman

It's a song for LABOR DAY!
I love it to hear where the great songs come from and how they came about and then became timeless
Thanks for the song. One of favorites to dance to. I used to sing at open mic & kareoke.

Great story. At first I didn't care to listen, but I'm glad I did. I love the synchronicity's in your story, how everything worked out.

Got lucky to see BTO open for Aerosmith a long time ago in our galaxy far, far away 🎸
I could play this song all day, and did, at one time,( 'til I die, and/or Take Care of Business).
Love BTO since 1975
Carreira solo de Randy. Porém foi e é um grande guitarrista.
I heard the piano track was laid down in one take but I didn’t know it was a random pizza delivery guy…wow!
Best story ever!!! But your drummer starts screwing around at 16:33.
thats funny

Elvis took on the brand from hearing the song.
Terrible
Give Randy a break…he’s probably late 60’s or 70 here.
What's the mention about masonic stuff!!??
