Yep classic first time Yanmar owner, radiator fills with chafe and you over heat it . Be careful you will blow the head gasket easy on those. Unless someone has modified that there is no water pump on it and it's a thermosiphon system. Make sure you use 30% green antifreeze and no more. It needs the right ratio to work correct. Go to Hoye Tractor you can see the parts diagrams. Their your parts source for those. But there is a screen to go in front of the radiator to catch some of that stuff and you can pull the screen off and knock it out. It gets more off easy and less in the radiator fins. You can also zip tie some window screen to the front grill and it will catch most of that crap before it hits radiator. Just some tips from a guy who has had one for 12+ years
For your first flat bed conversion, it turned out great, if you do another one, you now know how to make it better. Good job man, keep up the great work.
Awesome job on the bed. I have a project in mind that involves cutting and reusing the factory bed, but this is the only project of that type that I've found so far on YT. Everybody wants to just build a custom steel tube flatbed, but I think maintaining the factory body lines on that lower half looks great.
Looks good considering the metal you were working with. The paint line between the white and black can be made straight by using pin striping that’s either black or white. Old painters trick. It was done like that on my Dodge Ram truck between the black between the doors and the silver paint. You done a great job on it. 👍🇺🇸
The Clipper 400 cuts much cleaner if you sharpen the blades. Great video, impressed with your idea of cutting the bed down. Looks good. FANTASTIC idea.
Looks good! You should have the twins do a gloss white paint job on the rest of the truck! It would look so good with fresh white paint and the Raptor Liner.
Excellent video (Dippin Desiel) Johnathan :) turn out very good too and be worth for sure 100 % also did Rapor only in black or can get in other colors too ! Also think that black should get clear coat 2 times and look very sharp too!
Dipping Diesel Brother, Just AWESOME! Great looking Rig and the concept on to do flat bed! Was upset you didn't fix the dent but hey it's your truck! I don't have to see it with my OCD! LOL! Are you going to do a Roll bar with light bar or any else? Best Regards!
For the love of god do a roll pan with a hitch behind the license plate. Stick those rear light in the roll pan on a 45 degree angle that be sick AF man.
You need to let your bush hog spin down before you shift to drive gear to keep from grinding. Unless you spun the bush hog up and then went to hear quick cause tractor doesn't ha e enough torque to doing BH and start off. You can slow down or take smaller bites. It will go through all that stuff. And take your right you want the back higher to kick that stuff out the back and not keep chopping it up
When I get a place where I can work on my vehicles I'm gonna go through and strip dakota off frame clear all rust new brake lines and hoses rebuild the 4.7 go through drive train add 3in body lift go get 35s maybe 37s fix rust and build a custom flat bed
Not a bad idea, problem is most guys put a deck on their dodge rams cause the box is rotted out on most the pieces of the box you actually reused! And why wouldn’t you have fixed the wheel well dents and finish off the tail gate area???? But good job on making the idea come to life!
Diesel.... BEFORE someone T-bones you in the @$$ of your truck and sues you for 1 Million Dollars for their injuries... install rear side marker lights on your truck!!! The bed looks great!
Knowing what i do bout the hard life it could get torn up easy that why flat beds are expensive. Heavy metal. But it functions and cheep so ya why not till you save up.
Just get AAA Before Your next video. Cause you know your going to break down. Just a ongoing thing on your chanel. Caleb can't rescue you anymore. So call Mike.
I have a built th400 billet shifter and I think a 3800 stall but I’m not sure how long this truck will be with me! I’m trying to move a few things around for a future endeavor!
don't care what people say I think you did an awesome job on this project
Long as you are proud of it good for you

Good idea to wear black socks instead of white ones. The prep is everything. That's why it came out so nice.

The bed liner came out great. looks like a good product.

If you were to put some metal window screen on the grill on the inside of keep the stuff off of your radiator
Man I think it looks awesome. I'm probably going to go the same way with my with my ram to put a fifth wheel badass job looks awesome
Ralyy tidied the project right up, well done
Looks great Jonathan!
Pretty neat bud. Might look good now with some black stacks with that bed.
Looks good brotha 👌

Do a truck meet in Texas
had my doubts on how it would come out I think it looks pretty darn good
The dents add character
Im thinking about doing it to my 04 silverado

Looks great!
Make some wood sides for it
Raptor Line the rest of the outside of the truck army green!
They had to paint over the bondo that was in the bed as you cut it. It was getting thicker with bondo
Love the videos

Don't worry you done a good job mate looks fine for the money you put in it 👍
What is up with paradox?
They had some sort of fight.
Came out beautifull!!

I don't think he had enough RPM, I doubt he was getting 540rpm from that PTO when cutting
You should of done the step plastics on the bumper
You need to get some 305 street tires on those anthems so u can actually drive that truck and turn ur wheel
Man, i like the idea.... Why right you cut out the fender arches though and made a real flatbed
When I get a place where I can work on my vehicles I'm gonna go through and strip dakota off frame clear all rust new brake lines and hoses rebuild the 4.7 go through drive train add 3in body lift go get 35s maybe 37s fix rust and build a custom flat bed
Oh no, those knotted wire wheels wear out. Once they start to go they go pretty fast.
Nice video man

Who was the chick at the twins shop? You need her in more of your videos.
You that down bad bud?
@@12vmafia91 nah, just tired of the same ole comments.
You should get a old screen window and put it in front of the radiator so it doesn’t get clogged!!????
You could turn your socks into boots with that stuff
Good work
I think it turned out great
I wanna do my s10 in raptor liner
9 minutes in and the video finally starts.. wow
Solid idea man might just fo yhis myself
Great job now you need a headache rack
Look for a 12 valve Cummins that runs strong perf just motor
Why didn't you take the bed off the other truck? I can't even remember it now? Long vs short or something?
Knowing what i do bout the hard life it could get torn up easy that why flat beds are expensive. Heavy metal. But it functions and cheep so ya why not till you save up.
Looks great
You do a damn great job
Looks good bro
Looking good
Why didn't you cut the wheel wells off
Not enough room for travel if he pulls
I wouldn't knock dents out of a beater truck bed!

@@omni434 man didn't have a clue ..sad to hear that.
what happened I missed something they fell out after dip helped him with all that building ECT...
If you go in a lower gear and not go so fast it’ll prolly cut it without bogging.
80e swap that Silverado. Best decision I ever made with mine
No
