    Haha Danya just did 250 ultra bullets against they youngest 2800 of all time and won 142 of them, I guess this is basically classical for him at this point! So wholesome to see you guys meet up, you are both great rolemodels in the chess community!

      bullet has a shit ton of flagging you dont always win because of smart play so it means nothing lol

      @@osniper4407 Ah you're one of the" bullet chess is not real chess" guys. Well Magnus plays it regularly on lichess and is currently the highest rated player there, so obviously it means something.
      So forgive me if I care more about what the world champion thinks than some random guy in the youtube comments.

      @@noone-ld7pt Your mindset and quality of play goes down when playing bullet. Bullet is incredibly fun, however I don't think it was great the day before a massive classical tournament. Both Magnus and Garry Kasparov said this. It is definitely real chess though.

    I enjoyed this conversation style much more than trash talk. She told us what moves she was thinking about, and he said, "you think I'm going to take your rook."
    The Botez games are less educational due to the trash talk, though they can be entertaining at times.

      @@sobhanet during the first Pog Champs I believe, he was coaching Charlie when he called him The Prophet. The name became fairly popular with his lower rated fans. But professionally I don’t think it has caught on sadly:( But I like it and I plan on using the name indefinitely!

      @@sobhanet just to add onto what our friend said above, he was called the prophet because in their practice sessions, he supposedly told charlie (moistcritikal) exactly what his opponent would play, resulting in charlie winning that match with the fastest checkmate in the tournament.

      The candidates are prodigy tier and do nothing but eat sleep and chess

      @@juankplaysmusic he is better in blitz than most players in the candidates though, only Magnus, Hikaru, and Alireza are better than him in blitz in my opinion.

      @@alanobaidi3469 danya better in blitz than most players in the candidates? You have to be joking rite? Magnus is nearly 3200 in blitz on lichess,danya is 3000. Thats a huge gap. And a ton of players played better than magnus in last years blitz championship,magnus only finished 12th. So no,danya is defo not better than most in the candidates

      I saw this game and the one with Carlsen, what amazed me the most is that in both games she's playing like the game is still open, while they clearly see that she has a lost position.
      The abilty to evaluate a position is on a completely different level.

    At 2:44 Rxf8 and it's just over (Danya would win the bishop, if black takes with the king, then Qf2 check takes back the other rook)! Not easy to see though

Like if you play a 6 hour game you will for sure remember all the moves after the game and the next days since you thought about the moves so much. If we " normal people" can do that then it's comprehensible how a trained mind can remember thousands of games

    It took me like the middle game to realize he is not black but white cause I just assumed he's at the bottom of the board on screen. Derp! Edit: Good times! I think it would be cool if you could somehow get the timer on screen or better camera angle or camera to show the timer cause at the end when it seemed he was close in the first game I could not see how much time you guys had or how much he ended with. That timer is super exciting, lol
