My PC was built for MSFS 2020 hope it will be fine for MSFS 2024. Ryzen 9 5950x 64Gb memory RTX 4070 2x 1Tb NVMe Samsung G3 27-inch monitor. Plus Honeycomb alpha and Bravo, velocity one pedals and winging fcu and efis. Streamdeck for other controls, as required.
my current config is an i9-9900k, rtx4070ti and three QHD monitors driven by Nvidia surround…works quite well at mostly high settings but I’m guessing it would be marginal for FS2024.
@ I built my 9900k system based on what was the top of the line requirements for fs2020 - at least in Dec 2019. Going to wait 6 months before I even consider building a new system. We’ll see how the new Ultra chips shake out. I do have a couple of i5-13400 minis and they can run circles per benchmarks around my once super system! 😤
@@john-or9cf Yes I remember when I got my i9-9900k and it was the best and I thought I would have a computer for years to come. It worked great until I began to play MSFS2020. I got desent fps, (i used to have a rtx 3070 then) but everytime I got near an airport the game had to stop thinking several times. I dont know if you call it "lagging" or "stuttering" in english. I when into CPU comperasion pages and compared my i9-9900k with a i5-13600k (because it was cheap) and was so supriced by the different. Ofcause I had to change the MB as well. I still use my i5-13600K. Ofcause I want a i7-14700k but I will have to wait and see. (sorry for my english)
@ English is fine! I’m thinking an Ultra 265 might be a good bet, new socket, etc. Seems to compare favorably with the i5-14700, just no hyper threading. If ms2024 truly is optimized and multithreaded, it might be worth waiting until next year to see how this all shakes out. I’m still leery of the level of cloud interaction required. Can MS really support tens of thousands of simultaneous users consistently? Remains to be seen.
Thanks that was interesting I'm thinking of upgrading to a i9 and 490 GPU but should I wait until next year and the new 500 cards arrives this could bring the price of the 4090 down.
I don't think at 1440p, I am alright on 1440p with a 3070 & 10600k on High settings but right on the edge with 2020. I will see how it does on 2024 before I spend a dime.
I got Ryzen 5 5600X and RTX 3060 with 32GB of RAM, it worked good in Tech Alpha. But my internet is 30Mbps and there is no way of getting Fiber connection for now. 😭
If u guys dosent have a pc just get an xbox and purchase the xbox gamepass ultimate or the xbox cloud gaming service which also requires xbox gamepass ultimate which is only 15 euro a monthl then u can play it in ur laptop or phone. I hope this helped ❤
wait people for the 5090 the January 6 no need to waste your money if you want to have the best. I have a i9 13900kf Asus Tuf 4090 Oc and 7000 w/r SSD and 64 gb ddr5 5600 MHz ram but like I said wait I know hard to wait but wait
Doesn’t seem flight sim is GPU bound but who knows, the best thing they did for performance was multi threading to take advantage of 7800x3d multi cores with V cache

I have a similar gaming PC with similar specs, I refuse to buy another just to run a sim. If what I have isn't enough... so be it!😔😔😔
You should run MSFS with medium/high details in 2K with your configuration.
You need 7800x3d and 4070ti Super to run msfs 2024 perfect... Sry
my ryzen 2700 and 3060 ti ran msfs 2020 fine ill just wait and try 2024 if it stumbles then ill upgrade

I wonder if MSFS 2024 will be less CPU-heavy. Right now my CPU is the bottleneck. My GPU should be up to the jobb.
What CPU do you have now?

Would an i5-10400 be good enough for high-end 1440p at 25-30 fps?
No you need 7800x3d
@qaj4j58fgs6 for what money, I would probably need to replace my motherboard too

Do we have to remove FS2020 off our PC's before installing FS2024, when it is released?
No need to uninstall that.

1080 P or 2K ? what average FPS?
@houmana.1591 1080p and Idk about average fps because I didn't measured it but it worked smooth.
And if you can't afford any of these PCs, the only choice is to live with the Xbox. It's sad.
My PC meets the standard requirements for 2024 so we chillin
Nice video. I will wait for the feedback on fs2024 and then upgrade. Cheers pal. Happy Diwali to you and your family and our msfs family 👍
