I think the scheme is wrong because why do I have to be condenser between the anode and the ground so that the signal can back to the transformer to the negative point
Dennis i know this an old video,but i was looking around youtube to find a solution to my problem on a GE-581 AM clock radio that i am tuning in SW stations and no AM.looks like the problem is in the osc.tickler circuit but i am not sure.I will take any help i can get.
jeffrey haynes I had same problem with my radio MW was no AM it was connection open from MW antenna coil in your problem please check 3 possibility 1 open connection either sw antenna / oscillator coil 2 wrong / open connection at band switch 3 open/ break sw oscillator coil
