Do you have to do this every time you get in car to go somewhere on a 2021 equinox? We are trying to figure out this, we didn’t have to on our 2014 we had.
I have the 2016 and can’t even see maps. I was told if I let o star go I would loose everything. My husband died had to let on star go and can’t even see maps on the console. Stinks.
My 2017 Chevy Equinox had active CarPlay until I changed my phone. I've paired the phone and CarPlay does not come up when I plug in the charger cord. Any ideas?
I have 2017 Silverado and have been using android auto before switching to iPhone and car play just won’t register I’ve tried everything in all videos I’ve seen different cables reset phone and MyLink radio. Still no luck did you find a solution??

Yes if you want to use maps you can still use phone and Bluetooth music but if you want the music app on the screen wich is easier you have to plug in
What year is this equinox? My screen does not look like that and I have a 2017.

Yes on my 2017 Equinox. Must be plugged to get CarPlay.

I’m having the same issue with my 2015 now I’ve gotten a newer iPhone and I don’t get the CarPlay option anymore
