League of Legends has had a problem with players intentionally feeding since the very beginning. Something about League makes players do and say horrible things. However, the issue comes from Riot Games' failure to quickly detect which players are trolling or not.
So, today we try to figure out how many deaths does it take for your account to be banned?

It's so random whenever it's either a system banning the player or a support member not doing anything. I remember me and my friends just chilling and playing norms and a random yone who went 0/12 saying he will "come to our houses and shoot us at our doorstep" isn't something that is bannable but saying some slur is.

@@solidale21 that literally happened to me xD I said "gp is such a retarded champ" in pregame lobby and I got a 2 day chat ban for it xD I was already chat banned for being toxic before but that just proved to me that riots system just bans for words and does not look at context at all. so when their ban message says "this was reviewed by our community and deemed below standard" its just a complete lie.

There was a site by Riot that where you had to log into and then you could read through reported chat logs, along with staticts and items build etc. Permabans were never given out that way tho, if someone was repeatedly found guilty it would go to the devs to make the final call.

I'd just want to say, veterans and new players alike put the Tribunal up on a pedestal like it's the holy grail of League, but there were also dramas that came out there. It was ironic how it was a place to judge toxic people, yet a portion (not a large amount, but certainly noticeable) of the people surrounding it was unholy toxic as well.
It would be far worse if it's still a thing today. Tho, this might just be the pessimist in me talking.
It was the tribunal that gave me the full scope of how toxic the community can be. Some wild shit being thrown around at those chat logs, the most mild being your typical everyday insults.

I only quit the game after I realized thebausffs was getting unfair banned and unbanned because he’s famous and I would likely be unbanned if I was famous too. It’s a shit system and they know it so I’m not gonna support it.

As it should be. They should also add an AI generated IQ test for playing ranked. People who score anything below 70% should have a permanent ranked restriction.

I doubt many have gotten banned for just being new and playing bad, some may blame it on that but in reality they tilted and said/did some bad stuff, probably multiple times.
There was a case where a Korean streamer was held hostage in their ranked game by 4 viewers for over 3 hours; 2 on her team and 2 on the enemy team. Their whole goal was to kill her over and over again to cause her inconvenience.
When the game ended she got a 14 day suspension due to "feeding" over 100 deaths (I think she went over 200 but I can't remember for sure). So, yes, you can get banned if you die over a certain number of times.
i dont think its the total amount of deaths, but its more like if you die back to back multiple times in a row in a very short timeframe, aka you die, respawn, run to lane die again, thats whats causing an automatic ban, not the total amount of deaths, and with bauss playstyle, sometimes this exact thing will happen, but most of the time he should be fine, i find it actually crazy how most people still have zero understanding on how this works.
@@yuumijungle548 you yourself don't have a complete understanding of how it works. It factors in multiple metrics, including the times died, the frequency of deaths, kda, how many players reported, patterns of behavior from previous matches etc.
It's a lazy, dishonest system that they have no incentive to fix, because they know people will make a new account and make the same purchases over again after they've been banned.
@massivewon except the amount of people who purchase things in league is tiny in comparison to the size of the player base. You think the people who you are talking about make riot enough money to not bother with banning them? Then explain valorants banning system then, it is you who dosent understand simple economics let alone game mechanics.

That's what the "cheating & intentional feeding" report is for.
Cheating -> increases the MMR, with enough reports, they get hooked into smurf queue
Intentional feeding -> the opposite, losers queue.
I recommend reporting for cheating, it is literally the worst experience ever, getting dominated every, single, game.

The "unskilled player" ban option is one of the reason why i never touch anything beyond "arcane" and the tutorial, i was kinda afraid that if i were to get ban i might feel terrible and fall into depression, but now i don't give a shit anymore and yet my brain still refuse to let me play it, and it's for the best.
You can't get banned for being unskilled. I can attest to that because I've spitefully reported my ranked opponents that back then and nothing bad came of it. It just lets you dunk on them more the same way you would kill your lane opponent and then pinging missing

Also I recently got chat restricted 25 from one guy feeding and blaming me and my teammates, reporting me when I didn't say anything, the included reason was for a 6-7 month old chat restriction.
So you can get re-banned for an old ban if they can't find a real reason.
Yo ape you can now check all categories when reporting. Also reporting for afk is useless because leaverbuster automatically punishes afk players right after the game. I bet you just report everyone else for feeding if you lose, ofc thats not inting. If they get system muted you can tick verbal abuse and that gets them chat restricted, hate speech is not needed at all there

I went 0/21 in a ranked game because for some reason the entire enemy team decided to carry smite with them and make my life as a jungler a living hell.
I was level 3 while everyone else was level 13/14, it was that bad.
Soon after I got banned for 2 weeks.
This is why I don't play ranked.
What's even more hilarious, is that I had chat muted.

I've gotten banned twice for playing shitty, but not inting. I got unbanned the second time and didn't the first time.
I think they are very fast with bans nowadays. I get multiple report feedbacks everytime I play. I was tilted and went 11/20 and got banned instantly after the game

I'm certain accounts have hidden report cards. Over time, a player's acct gets bad marks for certain infractions. Worse infractions count more heavily towards incoming penalties. Once an acct hits that secret thin-ice point; just about any infraction will cause penalties.(warning, suspension, ban)
So basically, acct ban from X infraction was probably promted from last weeks bad reports.
That's not to say the system can't just outright ban for major first time infractions.
I also suspect acts that have history of paying are treated more leniently but with zero proof and only paranoia.
Yes. It is known that there is something basically counting your punishments. They will go up in severity with each one.
So sometimes going from a 5 chat ban games to 15. Or 2 week ban to permanent.

Yes, accounts that have already been punished will gain another suspension much more easily than other accounts, this sucks because I get wayyyy more angry. My wife has honor 5 and can rage as much as she wants in some matches and nothing will happen. I've already taken several restrictions and, after a recent chat restriction ended I swear I played 2 games and that's enough for me to gain another chat restriction, I didn't even used bad words, just complained a bit about camping. My point is if you WAS a rager then you will be forever marked as such and riot doesn't care if you are trying to change, they will punish you again and again and again and you will get angrier and angrier and angrier, there is no other way of resetting your account and play without the mindset "I cant argue otherwise I'll be banned"
@@netomtoloko01 I think there is such a thing as "account health" which in game where you play neutrally, get honors and stuff, you regenerate health and those where you were reported, had overwhelmingly bad kda and was toxic in chat, you get health deducted.
Because sometimes I get notifications warning me that I am nearing a threshold where I might be received punishments such as low priority queue or chat restrictions.
I play nice for some time or just deafen myself and I receive some more reports before I get penalized.
So funny story that happened to my brother, one day he decided to play warwick jungle, he entered a game and saw that the entire enemy team had smited and keep taking all his jungle during the whole game. During the game he kept getting complain by his team about not being helpful or do sht even though they knew the enemy team was just targeting him. At the end they lost and everyone report him both his teammates and the enemy team bc "he fed" even though they saw n knew he was getting targeted the entire game. He was ban for like 2 weeks

When I was new to lol, I didn’t know how MOBA games worked so I decided to play ahri too after my tutorial. Instead of farming, I decided to rush against my opponent and go 1/14 on my first game and the next few games I play very bad. After my first 3 games, I got a 2 week suspension which surprised me surprisingly due to me dying too much on my FIRST DAY of playing lol. The next day I submitted a ticket to riot to unban me since I was a new player to the game and didn’t know how to play and they unbanned me. That’s where my funny new player experience ends.

My first suspension on lol was in a game that I tilted half way through with the support, I was the adc and from 6/12 I went to 6/24 killing myself in the 3 lanes because my team didn't give FF. So I really have no idea what the game's metric is because I did it without typing anything and it was probably the first and only game I ever intentionally trolled,

nowadays i get reports feedbacks every time i log into the game, thats a fact.
The thing is... pretty much every report could be from weeks, months... or even years so i can't really say if they are THAT consistent when they seems to not be.

I have experimented with this, riot wont do anything happen in game cuz system can only auto detect chat so far. So they determined the feed troll or not is from rhe reports, thats why his irelia feed hasnt got suspended cuz probably not enough report yet

The irelia thing is because he was on Irelia, I have had many games where I died that much on irelia, I got reported many times and nothing happened, pretty sure it´s because it´s common on people who are learning irelia.
There's a gap between an unskilled player or someone having a bad day and a flat out troll. You can't tell me someone, as bad as is, will finish the game with 20+ deaths, less than 10 cs, wrong items and most damage received being from towers is just being bad. Don't see how they can't make a scripted way to ban intentional feeding, in special when the game now have so many metrics post game.
i feel like people get confused on the difference on people just playing like shit and having a really bad game vs someone obviously hard inting, like baus ap irelia is obviously super fucking troll but i saw nothing in his gameplay that convinced me his goal from the start was just to int and lose his team the game, its just a troll strat and he played like shit because of it, versus someone clearly inting like og tyler one, just literally running it down under enemy turret and team and not typing a single word, i dont think baus or people who end up having games like his deserve a ban honestly, as long as they high death game show a clear intent to win and help the team, then its just a bad game, not them trolling or inting

Actually the Unskilled Player report did do something - It lock people out of Ranked queue for a moment, just don't remember how long but 1 day max.

So far I've gotten responses from Riot about reports that I've personally submitted maybe 8/10 times. So about an 80% success rate and with that I can be happyish. I mean it's nice to feel like something is happening ya know.

It looks like you can die lots in 1 game, then you get flagged as sus, to which if you do it again (or 2 more times within X amount of time) you then get banned.
The moment your game was sold to tencent is the moment the game's monetization was the only thing that was developed.

Got a two week suspension for having a 3/21/2 match with lee sin support. The automatic system is a complete failure as I have had worse games and was banned for that single game alone. It was in ranked. The tribunal system was 1000% less efficient but 500% more accurate in giving correct punishments while the current system will ban you for just about anything. This is why Dota is better lmao.

Number of deaths is have to be Equal or more than game time. So if someone died 15 times or more during 15 min game its a sure ban.
That person cannot have a 2 or more kills.
That person cannot be afk
Tho once i manged once person die 30 times in 50 minute game and didn't had a SINGLE damn kill. No ban

Got 2v1d like the whole game so I went 0/6 and my jungler (Nocturne) 0/8 spent the whole game flaming me that I fed the enemy jungle (He killed me 2v1 1 time) Meanwhile the GP Mid managed to get nothing accomplished while the Veigar was Top with the enemy Sion but somehow I still managed to be the only one to take turrets and I took 2

The anti-int system only works in ranked unless that got changed, but yeah, gotta ban people for being mean instead of the trying to resolve the problem that makes them flame in the first place.
My first ever punishment was I was not allowed to play ranked for 10 games (?) because I had Inted... I didnt int, I was just bad ending a game with 2-9 and that was enough to get me punished.

Man, I just was autofilled as support (IRON 3 GAME) I died too much, but not intentionally ( in fact, a put a lot of vision, good rotations, etc ). Resulted in a 2 week ban. Clean af👌👌

As someone who has inted in over 1000 games you cannot get anything beyond 14 day if you know what you are doing. Unless people submit support tickets you will not got perma'd.

Awesome video, wish you had touched on viewers keeping streamers stuck in ranked games, i think its happened a few times now.
In those games the streamer often racks up insane amounts of deaths.
I challenge your opinion because I know better. This video is all fancy edits but the knowledge behind those videos is obviously taken from outdated sources or just wrong. I can tell this guy did not go into a game and test the inting-detection himself because he is a lazy content creator. Just look at his thumbnails, literally all the same.
The inting system does work and is very strict, you can get banned for 0-4 if you just let the enemy kill you and NOT fight back, also the time between each death counts!
This video contains false info, the syndra player who inted t1 was 14 day banned but was able to play after that ban was over. Nicolai can't read however or doesnt know that 14 day bans exist so he just tells everyone that the syndra was NOT BANNED. The syndra player's acc was permabanned after the second inting spree. So the system works just fine...

you can soft int by taking camps , minions , split pushing till you die , dont show at objs etc and you wont get suspended , but if you start runnign down mid dying over and over ... you might get warned or suspended depending on how many people report you

Most of baus’s bans are off the back of multiple games of int, thats why his 2/21 irelia score didnt ban him, cause riot gives leniency for bad games, but too many bad games, and thats a suspension.

Remember that Yasuo's powerspike starts at 0/10 kda. You weren't inting, you were just scaling, that's why you weren't banned.

I believe their report system actually looks at items. Looking back at Vandirils video of the dude who went on I believe 28 games of pure inting he built properly every game.

You did like 0 research, you can get banned for going 0/4, there is a component that factors in the time between deaths and if you were fighting while dying or just letting the enemy kill you. This is flawed in itself because you can be banned if you just lag out.

when i was new to LoL playing vs bots is fine, playing vs players in none ranked matches where fine coz most ppl where just doing w.e so after playing for a good amount of time vs bots and then regular peeps in none ranked matches i tryed rank as support
legit got banned for 'intent' feeding when i was just legit getting my ass handed to me coz i was a new player and didnt understand how some of the champs where being played coz when i saw them in none ranked matches they where not being played in such a way.

I was told 12 deaths is reportable, and going off that information a lot of the inters I get paired up with in ranked have been suspended after I report.
It seems like it checks out, stop dying so much, it's not hard.
Some games just make 12+ unavoidable. Counterpicked in lane, spam ganked, and team fights where you’re the very first person to get blown up because you’re very far behind, and your only other option was to not participate and somehow be blamed for losing a lvl 13-14 fight as a lvl 10
^and also sometimes your entire team would be at 12+ deaths, especially if the game is long and the score is even
Stop dying so much, it’s not hard, until you get 5 man ganked under your turret but you right just play “safe”

When the system first released, it wasn't refined and a lot of people were wrongfully banned, including players who play like Thebausffs; So basically crazy Sion and Singed players who play those champions to their strengths, in the case of singed it is trolling the enemy team and in the case of Sion it is going nuts and smashing into the enemy towers.
Did Riot apologise or reverse said bans? Nope, they made a public statement they did, but it was a complete lie. 90% of people who were wrongfully banned never got their accounts back. Riot only turned around and reversed it once for a very popular RUclipsr who played Singed off meta and died a lot but still won games but only because everyone made a big fuss about it and Riot cared more about the backlash than they did about restoring the account. It was only then they changed how the detection system worked under duress.
And I'll tell you why they don't unban the accounts that were wrongfully banned; Greed. Riot loves to double dip and a banned account means that person will make a new account and spend money on the same things twice. They're frankly evil. Meanwhile, Valve actually gives a crap about making DotA 2 a great game and they have a good system in place compared to Riot's lazy half arsed system where they are more than happy to allow trolls and smurfs to ruin the days of low rank players because a mad player is a banned player and a banned player means more money. If Valve has no issue detecting Smurfs, you bet Riot can too, they just choose not to. If Valve can detect trolls, Riot can also, but they choose not to do anything about the trolls either. Instead this system just pressures people to not die, which makes low rank players overly cautious and selfish, discouraging teamplay and increasing toxicity and gives teams who are willing to take risks, to focus on and bully one player not performing as well as their teammates into the negative so they go really deep on deaths and as a result are at risk of pinging the system for feeding and getting banned even though they were not intentionally feeding, they were instead being picked on and bullied by the enemy team as a strategy for winning. This happens *all the time* in Iron, Bronze and Silver and Riot doesn't give a crap, all as a result of Riot's short sighted approach to dealing with problems in a gesture way as opposed to actually dealing with them purely so they can tick a box and pretend they care.

Banning players for such small stuff like dieing or leaving a non ranked match needs to end... Its a fking game... Not real life. Stuff irl takes priority over a video game..
we were 5 pre and 1 of my friend dont even have a account so I gave him mine and I log in my brothers account, then bcs of his first play he played 2/17/5 and my account get banned even we are 5 pre and honored my account :D

He obviously got 14 days ban for that game.. His Syndra game was played 30 days ago, than the sylas game 16 days ago.. 30 - 16 = 14.

Yes you can. I got a 2 week suspension for being 2/14 in one game as an autofill adc in Normal game. When i came to lane i got towerdiven over and over again, including enemy jungler helping. I was worth like 50 gold ant they still targeted me while i just tried to stay under tower and snack last hits at max range.
I was not inting, nor flaming. I had a very bad day and was targetted for whatever reason. There were no unreasonable engages made and no running down in the slightest.
Still got my 2 week suspension.

It was just 2 Weeks suspension and its a long time ago already. Still it feels very unfair to this day. I do not trust Riots penalty system anymore.

Couldn't the automatic detection simply take into consideration the damage dealt to turrets or enemies?
If someone goes 3/20/5 with decent dmg he most likely just had a bad game, but if a player goes 0/13/1 with little or no dmg, it's surely a troll.
wouldnt work with junglers or Supports. If youre a yummi or Soraka you dont have tower damage or damage at all. Also if youre a jungler and get smurfed by a Master lethality shaco, you could loose the game 0/15 with 0 objectives or ganks and no impact despite unintantionally feeding even when you tried to play a good game.
