Graduated DEC 2020, C0v1d in bootcamp was hell, now stationed in Japan! 🕊🙏
Yo JT they still got me on the GW. Hope you’re doin well. Keep up the great work
Man, Navy Boot Camp really has changed in its look since I was there for boot camp nearly 20 years ago!!
I'm interested in going to the navy at 23 can you do a video on joining the military now
As a former road guard I would like to speak on behalf of all of us and say we don't get enough respect having to sprint in your boots and catching up and getting back into step haha
🤣
facts lmaooo but I will say it helped me shave and cut 2 mins off my run on the OPFA so that was good
"road guard you stand properly relieved!"
"AYEEE AYEEE RPOCCCC" good times
😂😂 man I use to feel for y’all
The best thing about being a road guard was when we launched torpedoes
i was a road gaurd for 5 weeks. it dropped time off my run but holy fuck did it suck, especially when it was hot.
The song cadence that goes” I left my life way out west, just to join Americas best, and it won’t be long till I get ‘em back home”. I will forever remember that 😭
“Got a letter in the mail, go to war or go to jail”
Whats the name of this one?? Ive been looking for it for 2 years 🥺
@@vibrantrain3530 it’s called back home
When we sang the 1st cadence it was men at war. We also did when you left. Your father was home when you left. You're right!! So many memories...
And it was also rdcs creeping all around too
That’s right and it also use to be “Late at night when you’re sleeping RDCs come a CREEPING all arouuuuund” my RDCs hated it lol
I’ll never forget marching down to the drill hall graduation morning with all 12 graduating divisions singing cadence as loud as humanly possible
I loved marching to battle stations amped up ready to GO!!!
Battle stations and graduations was the best feeling especially getting the battle stations ribbon and trust me my division was a band of misfits we couldn’t believe we pulled that off ..I guess IT everyday helped😂
Sheeeesh boot camp nostalgia is hittin weird after one year 😅
It still brings back memories and I graduated in 1976. We we went on our first liberty there were 4 of us and we were marching down Rosecrans Avenue without realizing that we were
Same!! Two years for me!!
Dude 2 months!!!!!😅😅😅😅
1992 for me. RTC Orlando. What a time!
as an AM3 i couldnt be happier. hooyah navy! glad you are back, ive been watching before i enlisted.
💪💪
It’s crazy how I watched this a couple years ago and saw all the buildings in this video and all of the cadences and now I’ve been there and done it and I’m all done there. I am not gonna lie, there are some days I miss it.
I remember going to battlestations and everyone going sang this together was so dope
The marching down the avenue cadence was one we used back in 1975 brings back memories would like to know what they have to carry in the backpacks
Recruit Trainee guide, hydration tool, pen, parka, and probably some paperwork in the sleeve. Some recruits may have chapstick and drip drop. Those 2 are optional
and all recruits have a glowbelt too in there
Water bottle, training guide, notebook, neon glowbelt, a parka if its cold, chapstick, pen, flashgear (later on), and some drink flavormix powders.
Their hopes and dreams. Burden getting lighter by the hour😂😂
8:05 the good ole USS Iowa. That’s where the CO and XO work and love to watch divisions march by. So don’t fuck around or be out of step passing by it 😂😂
👍👍👍
Damn man, I usually ignore the boot camp stuff but this one brought me back to 11 years ago!
Shipping the 1st week of March. Got my rate, anchors aweigh!
Crazy I was at RTC only 6 weeks ago but sadly separated for a injury in the PFA
Was injury so bad 😮?
JT I was in boot camp at Great lakes back in 2000 to 2001. From what I can see everything looks so different an new. I was in Division 102 back then. So for me it has been like 20 years since I was in Great Lakes. So in my day we wear like the blue shirts and blue pants as our working uniforms. We did not wear the uniform that you was wearing or the new ones now. An so my job in the Navy was an MS or how the Navy calls it now as a CS. But to me I will always be a MS. An so I was in a fighter squadron called VFA-137 out of NAS Lemoore in Lemoore California. My ship was CV 64 the USS Constellation. Well love your channel.
Britney Howard, you are not the only one. The only buildings that I recognize is the Chapel and Ricky Sunday!!
Britney I'm with you there. I shipped out to boot camp Oct 24th 2001. I was in division 034. I wish we had a lot of the same uniforms these guys did. At first I despised my utility uniforms. I was an ABH or Avation Boatswain Mate Handler. I was in Napels Italy at first and eventually ended up on the USS Ronald Regan once it was finally finished being built and than Commissioned. Great times shipmates!!
I graduated 2001 division 038 this brings back memories!
hobos will become a true seaman!
I went through RTC in March 2011! Can't believe they didn't give these guys black marks, looks like tighty whities on their face.
Pretty sure I watched these guys graduate since I’ve been following the graduations for weeks. Shipping out tomorrow and absolutely so excited and terrified. Also so happy you’re back man! Making videos I missed your content. Literally been following you since like 2017 and I consider you one of my OGs 🤣
Haha appreciate ya , and good luck see u back in 8 weeks !
Should of graduated by now 😅😂
I went to boot camp in Orlando. RTC there didn't have any cars driving through. If we saw any, they were off in a distance. It was weird seeing stop lights and moving vehicles when we finished up.
I went to boot in Orlando too Co.112 1976....Big grinder sweated and threw up a lot on it.....
the best cadence we did was one our 2nd rdc would do when he was the only one with us marching and when no one was around i dont remember how it went exactly but Harambe was a part of it very patriotic if i do say so
>.
Hey was your 2nd RDC OS1? If it was, that was my favorite cadence out of all of them. It's all right, it's ok....
Lmao that’s my div 308 I’m the RCPO😂 Best time of my life I never wanna relive. Hooyah let’s go ship 11
Let’s gooooo haha !
Was your RDC EO2 Hall?
I was AROC for my division. I graduated Dec 3rd. Division 007
Hey JT, being aroc being able to do cadences it was one of the things that kept me sane lol before I joined I was super unsure of what branch to join but watching your videos helped me decide to go big navy so thank you man. Sincerely one of your biggest supporters
Great video as always
Just graduated bootcamp as an AROC. I thought I’d be done marching but turns out we still do it in a school
My little sister bought a car while in great mistakes, I got lost on that side of the base and was led out by the MP's on duty. I made 1 final return trip to pick her up after her PIR and she drove that time.
That main drill hall across the green where graduations are usually held (I forgot the name im sorry) was turned into a quarantine area with like 5x8ft cubicles with a rack and two metal chairs with mre’s for dinner 2 weeks. Then expected you to do your pft after like🙅♀️very messy with covid last year
I had a friend same name as u in my navy squadron , she looks like u too , tripping me out lol
@@jtmnavy haha! Small crazy world
Wanna say Midway? Or PACFLEET?
2:44 JTsuits, that is the absolute best advice for these new recruits. You here this recruits, it is best that you get NFCU and USAA. These 2 financial institutions has been the biggest asset for my life ever since I've been apart of them. Now I did join USAA much later than Navy Federal, but being a member of both was one of the best decisions I've ever made. So listen to what JTsuits has to say in regards to making a choice on your financial future.
4 and half months til I'm doing the civilian cadences lol. Funny thing is I still have my recruit ball cap 5 years later
What’s up JT!
Thought about you being a Recruit while other people are just going about their day... that one hit me too ha ha
23 years ago cant remember anything. Would like to go back and see it.
Papa boi!
Bro these songs were super nostalgic, we didn't really sing much during boot but when A school hit and we sung all the time
Good old navy 1234 was always my favorite.
Great to see another video!! Excellent work.
I think now we're sending people to the Mediterranean sea because of Ukraine. Also lots of stuff in the Pacific because of Taiwan.
It might be a little political but you should cover some of that in a video! Would love to see more videos from you either way!!!
WOW. that was my division. 308 that was 7 months ago.
I was div 320.. I remember seeing you guys march
Happy one year anniversary buddy time flies man those were fun times
Was your RDC EO2 Hall?
lol they use to say “RDCs come CREEPIN all around” now they say “roving”
Some serious misinformation about banks here. It's Navy Federal Credit Union and Armed Forces Bank that visit you in basic training (everyone recommends Navy Federal). You can also set up your own home bank, however you will need to bring your account information so that they can deposit your pay properly. You are by no means forced to use Navy Federal or Armed Forces, and especially not USAA
I remember the “sailors at war” cadence was “men at war” when I went through they probably had to change it
Great Lakes RTC division 379 Sept 2003
Totally different from when I went through in 1976. My son went through in 2010.
flashbacks; i remember that cadence
I graduated 6 days ago
I thought I'd never see the day that the navy would march at NORMAL intervals! And all because of da rona. . .
The nostalgia 😭😭😭
These videos are great! I ship out in 4 weeks!!!! Air Crew!
Sailors at warrrrr!!! 🔊
Ten years ago for me too! Hooyah bootcamp!
Seeing this makes me miss my boot camp days… I was separated before week 8 for ADHD and anxiety. Shit started going downhill for me early on. Dear John letter, parents never really answered phone calls when I went, no letters answered. A lot went on mentally that eventually made anxiety take over… I miss my Div..
I leave in 4 days
Boot camps a breeze guy. I went feb2016 div 923. It's stupid easy.
it goes by fast!
Have fun man. It’s easy and a hell of a time
Hell yea jt back at the videos
I actually miss boot camp 😂😂
I know it's old but Here We Go Again was my favorite cadence. I sung that at the top of my lungs. Lol good times good times
They must've changed the hold on the flag staff. I wasn't allowed to have fingers on the front of my guide-on(had to squeeze it between thumb and forefinger). I was reminded once or twice 😆
Edited: thin --> thumb
I feel they did it because when I was there a year ago as an all girl division we wanted to sing woman at war so they just probably made it sailors at war instead of men at war.
When I was in bootcamp I sung this cadence it was one of my favorites
I feel so old right now. I shipped out to boot camp Oct 24th 2001, right after 9/11. Do they now separate men from the women in different divisions? We had to sing Anchors away every time we went through the tunnel. It's cool to see shipmates getting it done!
They've been doing this due to the "virus" and to make sure no one cross contaminates anything.....
Yet we eat in the same chow hall -_-
Still had to sing anchors aweigh through the tunnel! They have integrated divisions, but they separate the males and females in different compartments.
They had completely separated divisions for Covid, not sure if that's changed
I love the navy cadence's. 🇺🇲
Yoooo, I graduated boot camp in 1997. The base looks so much different. I mean, I went 25 years ago and in the dead middle of winter (Jan 1997) but I'm sure it's much more done up now. I was an OS2 when I got out, ended up getting out HYT (14 years) unfortunately. My son leaves for boot camp Jan 17th, so a few weeks. He's so excited and I'm so proud, he's going in as an AO. Thanks for this video bro.
Congrats to u and ur family
Dude when I went back to GL as a GM1 back in 2006 I couldn't believe the change in the base. The "ships" were luxurious as hell. So we're all the buildings. The range was ridiculous. A big ole auditorium to do the speaking and a nice live fire range.
It's definitely changed since I was there
Petty officer hall, I’ll never forget you
He was a real one for sure
Didn’t see any recruits “sleep marching!”
is there an original video of the Cadence without dipstick pausing it every 10 seconds
First to view hell yeah
🍪
I went thru this in 1996,
Way different back then
jt it was man of war, and RDCs come a creeping all around about 2 years ago
Do they even give out street hits anymore? That was the biggest thing RDCs scream about back in 08. That was the easiest way to get the division in trouble. Haven’t seen this munitioned at all
classic 1234, yessir
Hey JT you mind posting this video without commentary and pauses?, or if u have a link without it. The nostalgia crazy. You’d be the MVP 🤟🏻
Just coming out of boot camp this is my favorite cadence.
question, how are you able to get neck tattoos in the navy? did you get a waiver any answers would be helpful ty
Most likely got them after he served, he mentioned it's been 10 yrs
i swear when i went through that first one went “men at war, men at war, late at night when you’re sleeping RDCs come a creepin all around” not sailors and/or rolling…
I went through in 2021 and it is sailors at war
I leave to bootcamp july 14
Lmao bro I've got a black and white cat too lol
What up Fam and welcome to a brand new Navy show:) Pawpa :)
Got questions about tattoos? 👀
Ahhhhh memories
🔥🔥🔥🏃🏾♂️🔥🙋🏾♂️🔥🔥🔥
Love these 😂❤️
Hooyah 308 honored to make the jtsuits channel
I was in div 320.. almost made it on the channel lol
JT USAA doesn't send a rep out. It is only armed forces bank and navy fed.
The way he said owww hahaha
JT I got a question I’m a APACT salior trying to decide wether if I should go AM or AZ do AM’s actually get the capability to get good jobs afterward like Boeing and flight civilian side jobs easily? Or is it more worth it to be an AZ? I’m currently living on the barge in Norfolk and I’m trying to decide on going with a rate that either is always at shore so I can make a life either here or my next duty station. Do you regret going AM?
JT booters wtf happened to Dwk? His channel is deleted. Give us updates please dad!
In 2000 all we got was 1,2--a 2--a 2--a 3 4 1 2 2a until pass and review. The the rdc called a cool cadence for the families. I miss it and would do it all again.
My son ships out February 2nd for bootcamp.
At least I never had to go through Navy Boot Camp to be in the navy.
🎶🎵🎵🎶🔥🔥nice video
It used be called “ man at war”
Just graduated recently. The cadences were so so. Our AROC never did shit tho :/
Bro I know the guide on he and I are in Groton for BESS and A school lil puertorican dude in a class a head of me
graduated 2 months ago, glad i’m outta there 😂
Graduated navy boot 02SEP22
major thoughts on leaving the navy i got some questions wondering if you can help JT
So weird to not see the base covered in snow
You will hear from Navy Federal and Armed Forces Bank. Stay away from AFB!
Damnnnn I’m joining the navy this year I go to my recruiter Monday to take the drug test and I pray I come up clean 😩 I wanna join so bad and leave outta my shitty city
I wanted to join army but I couldn’t cuz of my hand tattoo🙄🙄🙄
Jt can you talk about the AD rate while in the service and civilian transferability
Haha that was one of my RDC’s!
didn't they marched on the wrong way though
I think it was because of graduations, but I may be wrong.
