Idk I still see a bit of cheap graphics or something, yet the space battle looks very good and the acting seems really nice, hopefully that makes this film great

@@HeroesUnite. nope there were parts of across the stars and other clips scattered into the score. If it was $$$$$ they'd be like paramount is to trek fan films go ask them how it is. Sorry but theory crossed the line. Hoped they wouldn't notice the few bars but the warner chapel bots found it. And Lucasfilm/Disney put it straight

It's always been what made Star Wars so special.
Couldn't agree more. Star Wars fan films and the best out there. The fans are far more dedicated to the history and feel of the series than any studio.
Disney is a evil company and wants only political correctness.
They dont give a fuck about what are fans desire . They said will be no more Star Wars movies but still milking the dead series .
The same could be said for Trek fan films. However when those studio clowns came down on the fan directors that was unfair. When Discovery was in script and story production there were fan films coming out that were truly Trek based and Discovery panicked because they were far better and they had to stop it, sad when your content is far better than theirs, but that is what makes fans the way they are.
The fans need to be hired.

A show based on the perspective of the Imperials. I can get down with that, just as long as they don't take the Battlefront II approach and have them defect to the Rebellion/New Republic.

This might be THE most professionally looking fan film I ever saw. Obviously this is only a trailer but consider my interest piqued! Love how you're paying homage to Battlefront 2 in a way.

Disney still doesn’t get it - we are tired of the rebels story, the one-dimensional angle of the Jedi and rebellion has been saturated. We want to understand the stormtroopers. What makes a story interesting isn’t the hero, but a complex antagonist that believes their way is justified.
Finn made my hyped to see star wars in the bad guy's view, but no, they gotta give him the "turn into a good guy" cliche.

Andor does a pretty good job of portraying the Empire. The banality of the evil they commit is portrayed quite well. Its not like they're just misunderstood patriots, they're conquering systems then enslaving them while exploiting resources, they'll kill their own troops for failure or sacrifice them without regard to achieve victory, commit genocide (sterilization of Geonosians), kill civilians if even a small portion of them Rebel. It's cool to see some Stormtrooper content but if they leave out the fact that lots of those soldiers are fine committing war crimes then its not exactly as authentic or as gritty as it could be. Its like making a Boba Fett series where he's a lawful good guy all of a sudden (oh wait Disney already did that). Book of Boba Fett would have been much better if they just stuck to the original and gave him some anti-hero "Fist Fully of Dollars" flavor story arc in a sea of scum and villainy.
@@RyanWBL the problem with writing a story based entirely on villains being scum it'll become dry, predictable, bad messages to children, etc. The biggest problem is predictability now there is was to stop that if you've watched the new avatar movie it's well done there.
The Force is strong with this show.

@@themole4369 That's true, It is about the author to be honest, canon or legends. Like in the canon book battlefront twilight squadron they depicted them right, but since the bad batch we all know that only screen stuff counts and written canon is just a secondary thing wich can be retconned anytime. And in tge screen stuff (Rebels, Resistance, Mandalorian...) they are depicted as braindead fools. Unfortunately I think we can thank this to Dave Filoni :(

This is absolutely awesome, I'm am so fucking ready.
I really dig how you're putting a face to the faction that is usually just faceless bad guys and really putting in the grittiness of combat - admittedly, the Empire did some horrible things but that's a part of war - civil and otherwise, no faction ever wins the war completely clean. So seeing a movie from the perspective of the troopers is VERY needed, so thank you guys for going this route. The Mandalorian briefly had a moment of it but went back to the standard. I really really hope you guys keep this direction and the quality.

@@abraham2172 I agree. Defection stories can be really good and compelling but it has been done so many times in star wars these days that I roll my eyes whenever I see it and can't help but feel sad at the wasted opportunity of truly seeing the other side of the war.
"Humanize" these mercenary rubes all you like, but they still knowingly serve a totalitarian state which routinely employs overt terrorism--from squad level to planetary scale--as a method of first resort. This means that meat by-products who exist to lose and/or die are all they CAN be *until* they defect.
its beautiful! The space battle cgi looks better than anything else on a fan movie! Im glad that you were able to make it, despite everything! If you allow me one note: maybe you should upload the videos in 4K ro at least in 2K, youtube really reduced the bitrate for 1080p videos lately, and its take off a lot of the image quality.
These Stormtroopers aim very good. They should be under my command very time soon. Very well, these are works of art to those who made this...

Lets face it, Palpatine is a piece of crap when it comes to governing BUT we all know that not all people who served the empire are bad guys.
Here's hoping this doesn't turn into a seemingly empire-centric story that has the main characters jumping to the rebels and killing Imperials like they all tend to do.
Also, I believe this will be set in Old Canon, correct? I believe that's what I was told.
This is not a turncoat story! Not sure about old cannon vs new... More about how to get a great story from a new perspective in the Galaxy we know and love

Than now we all wait for this new awesome bucketheads series, completed with Samuel Kim's awesome songs, this is a total masterpiece, capturing alot of star wars vibes from this trailer. I am a very small film maker (Roblox movies lol) but my point of mentioning that is because: I have always wanted to make movies, and I want to make every movie feel like the feeling and vibe its supposed to give off.
