After a series of reports on delayed flights due to the red lightning alert, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte conducted a surprise inspection at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 in Pasay City.
According to an advisory from the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), the red lightning alert, which occurred on June 9, 2019 from 6:40 PM until 9:15 PM, caused the suspension of ground movement for ramp personnel and flights.
The Chief Executive was joined in the inspection by MIAA General Manager Eddie Monreal, and Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Director General Captain Jim Sydiongco, among others.
The President also took time to talk with the Philippine Airlines (PAL) airport officials and personnel, as well as apologized to the affected passengers.

May anomalya diyan walang tanim bala, pero meron napa ka sobra ang kilo ng timbangan ng luggage. DUTERTE WILL BE LOSING MUCH OF HIS SUPPORTERS WHEN HE FOLLOWED QUIBOLOY TO RAID ON PASTOR APOLINARIO'S KAPA MINISTRY OFFICES.
The issue here is money problem of the people. In voting, many people chose money. In the name of survival, people will choose money. And Kapa managed to convince more than a million people already to donate in its ministry and Kapa has proved it is not deceiving its donors as it continuously has given the 30% interest without fail for years now. How Kapa succeeded in doing so must be a legit way: using the money in businesses that get a profit of at least twice the capital in businesses that may be lending, investing in stock and money markets done by experts in stock trading, or simply a convenience store that are now scattered all over Mindanao.
So, if Digong would take away this 30% money from a million Kapa members, will Digong still keep his popularity?
Let's start.
Pastor Quiboloy got money from donations of his members with NOTHING IN RETURN. The only return is a promise that the monies given will be heaven or God's Kingdom. Is it not that those who believed in the promised "return" are swindled once they find their souls instead went to hell or that there is no heaven that will forthcoming?
How despicable will it be to look at pastors and priests promising heaven because of donations to the churches?
These preaches are in themselves swindling committed by men of cloth like Quiboloy whose assistant was caught in America with big chunks of money?.
Apolinario also got money from donations but with 30% in return. Apolinario has been said to be giving payouts when the due dates fell. Nobody has complained yet
Who are criminals between the two?
Remember, because nobody has complained yet against Kapa,,there is estafa, small or large scale.
With due respect, it is legally erroneous and contrary to the Constitution for President Digong to order to close Kapa because in his judgment it is illegal as large-scale estafa. The President is a lawyer and he knows he is not a judge; and why will the President make a judgment that Kapa is a large-scale fraud when nobody but only Quiboloy is complaining?
If the pledges of 30% are given FAITHFULLY AND WITHOUT FAIL FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW, HOW CAN YOU BE JUSTIFIED CALLING THESE AS LARGE-SCALE FRAUD?
If one person borrows P1 million from me promising to pay me P300,000 interest in a month? Did I or he commit fraud just because the law on interest limits it to 6% per year? Supposing this failed to pay me the P300,000 interest representing as 30% interest and he also failed to pay me the P1 million principal, did he commit estafa or swindling? Now, if the same person borrowed P1 million each from 100 other persons promising to pay back the interest of 30% and the principal of P1 million, did that borrower commit large-scale estafa just because he borrowed and he failed to pay 100 creditors? NO, HE DID NOT COMMIT LARGE-SCALE ESTAFA.
Supposing 100 people donated P1 million each to one person with a promise to give back the principal money and 30% interest, was there large-scale estafa? I SUBMIT THERE IS NONE. A donation is giving WITHOUT EXPECTING MONEY IN RETURN. The donors therefore are aware that at the end of the day, what they gave cannot be recovered anymore. IS there a large-scale estafa?
Now, the Securities Regulation Code applies only to securities and not to donations or borrowings as demonstrated above. There was no stocks being sold in Kapa.
So how can Digong jusitfy his "judgment" that Kapa is fraud to start with?
The biggest fraud here is the one who MADE DIGONG BELIEVE THAT IT WAS FRAUD WHEN the ultimate goal was A RIVALRY IN RELIGION BECAUSE QUIBOLOY MAY HAVE LOST MANY OF HIS BRETHREN TO KAPA.
And mind you, this KAPA issue will cause a big dent on Tatay Digong popularity, an issue that has been silent compared to the West Philippines Sea, the War on Drugs, and corruption of Digong's own men and women in the government.
They do not know that about 20 percent of the population in South Cotabato alone have donations to Kapa Ministry.
For sure, compared to the money of 30% that they get continuously from Kapa, people do not mind how many were killed in Tokhang, or how were the killings done; people do not mind West Philippine Sea, or that politicians steal money from the government offices.
