Plz make more grammar points, your teaching technique is very ambitious.... quite easy to understand...
It may be worth emphasizing that 只 is an adverb, so it must be followed by a verb.
It cannot be followed by a noun.
So, if we want to say "only these" or "only those", then it's 只有这些 or 只有那些,
where the verb 有 is inserted after 只 so "只有 + noun" means "only + noun". (有 has no meaning here).
For example:
只有孩子(才)能进去 = "Only children can go in"
Compare this with:
你只有带孩子才能进去 = "Only if you bring children can you go in"
In my first example, I have put 才 in brackets, because it is actually not required in this sentence.
The first example is not an example of the 只有…才… structure.
In the 只有…才… structure, 只有 needs to be followed by a verb (as in my second example).
I love that even if this is not even mear my chinese level I see the logic and can understand it if I see it :) Very logically structured language, love it.

只好/只能
Thanks 🙏
You’re welcome 😊
Explain the usage of 估计 please...😊
as a verb, it means "to estimate"
我估计做完这些工作需要一个小时。
as an adv. it means "approximately"
她现在估计30岁左右。
So if I understand correctly, "zhi you 1 cai 2" means: only if 1 is true, then 2 will also come true, there is no other way (only if you study hard, you can get a good grade - if you are lazy, you will certainly fail). "Zhi you 1 jiu 2" means: if 1 is true then 2 is guaranteed to happen, but 2 might also happen otherwise (if you take the subway, you will arrive in time - but you can also arrive in time when you take a taxi). Is that correct? Edit: So "zhi you ... cai ..." describes a necessary condition while "zhi you ... jiu ..." describes a sufficient condition.
Sounds good!
correction: it's not "zhi you 1 jiu 2", it's “zhi yao 1, jiu 2"
😊
1. 我的车坏了,只能今天坐热气球去工作。2. 一弟弟去商店,就买糖果。3. 只是在山里,我感受轻松了。
