Thanks! I just ordered the alarm. One thar has to be wired to the system easily with split cabling. Just bought the Dualtron Victor Luxury. Can't afford to lose it. Great ride! Thanks again
I have the question, Does the remote also sound? I ask because if you are not near the scooter and the alarm is sounding on the scooter, how would you know?
The Tow bar is from carbonrevo.com. The Thunder is too heavy to transport on train or bus - you can see me rolling the Thunder by the tow bar in my review of the tow bar
@@dualtronthundernyc6503 Yes, thank you very much for the tips and videos, they are very useful, I already checked the Tow Bar installation video so I know it it s very heavy to carry, but have you ever had a problem with people by locking the scooter in public? i mean they like to check it out and try standing on it?!
And I would add a GPRS if you are really security conscious! your lucky you have somewhere to attach a chain on the scooter The one I’m buying there’s absolutely nothing to attach it on but it is slightly smaller
How are the disc locks working so far? Have you had any problems, such as the disc bending? Also, have you had any situations where someone was messing with the scooter and they set the alarm on?
Yeah I had the rear disc brake rotor scrape a bit but it’s easily fixed using a truing fork (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000R2OBME/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Have never had the motion alarm go off but I’ve only activated it a handful of times.
With expensive scooter like this, why dualtron disregard adding an off and on remote that also acts as an alarm like mine has which is cheaper but has the same specs.
Nonya Bizness well worth it. I had a heavy bike chain on mine. Went to gym in middle of city and someone cut it off. Guessing with a battery powered grinder. More layers of protection the better so some scumbag doesn’t get a free scooter.
Dont forget your GPS Tracker + Distance ON/OFF Remote. You know carjacking? Its increasing here in Paris for e-scooters. Guys push you off and ride Away...
I bring my score scooter into the coffee shop and into the store all the time. I have a speedway 5 and a dulTron storm. Both of them are cool in Charlotte
Hello there & thx for this video, would do the same if I had this scooter,i have a D6+,was thinking can you get your scooter Insured.God forbid if it got stolen at least you would be Compensated, something to think about fella, ride safe & enjoy.
Good security posturing there. But even with the Fingerprint reader it's too easy for someone to power on the scooter and start messing with the Px settings. I haven't had that happen to me (yet) but it sits on the back of my mind. So what I really want for my Thunder and haven't been able to find is a key lock switch to replace the toggle type master switch at the bottom of the deck. An 'ignition' key switch if I may. If anyone knows where to find something like this or knows of a DIY hack let me know!
Guys.Come on dualtron has multiple options to keep thieves from starting the scooters. You know the option which will limit the power output of the scooter. If you limit it so low the rider can't go more than 1 km per hour and the options are harder to change BECUASE no one will know how to do it
That is a great idea actually. Another helpful thing is turning off the power switch on the bottom of the scooter. Unfortunately, neither of these will keep someone from putting the Thunder in a truck/van and driving off with it.

I purchased the fingerprint scanner an I also have the alarm you show in the video!!!🛴
Yalondi Supherfon LOL do you have a dualtron?
@@llkoolk420 how has the fingerprint scanner held up
Also how is the suspension on the dultron?

Minimotors usa $55 and you can screw on led brake lights to each side of the handle

I bought this model: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002VR5LLI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Dualtron Thunder NYC Thanks for the info. I bought a small disc lock and mine has been fine so far
I was looking for this video. Thanks

What scooter do you have
Lol...this is an insane amount of security, but I understand.

Never let your Dualtron outside !!!

What is a Distance ON/OFF Remote? Could you provide a brand or link to one that would work with a Dualtron scooter?
Is the chain the 785 model?
I bring my score scooter into the coffee shop and into the store all the time. I have a speedway 5 and a dulTron storm. Both of them are cool in Charlotte
I’m also adding gps to mine since after mods rack up the Thunders price to over 5 grand is worth the extra security
Where u buy ur digital clock?
Iiked it either :)
Hey nice video, hey u could also just use a single nice padlock through the disc brake also. Also the cost is cheaper.
??
Great idea🤔👍but no extra alarm though

Do you ever leave it outside for long amount of time?
The longest i have left it locked and unattended was about 1 hour at a beach - other than that never more than 5 minutes to run into a store.
Why no fingerprint scanner?
$125 more
Because it has nothing to do with security :)
Thanks for this!
My man😎

Have no idea why they didn’t just include that plus water proofing at these price points
5:34 Imagine he says that with a 357 magnum pointed toward the thief
In Russia this amazing scooter costs less, than 2500 US dollars.
Surprisingly.
Михаил Кругликов maybe that’s why Russians love their Dualtrons :)
I would buy from Russia but many dealers do not ship to the U.S.
Slim567, and vice versa, unfortunately.
Yeah the assholes in the US are price gauging
On my scooter I have 4 layers of security
WOW⚡⚡⚡👌👌👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I really want that clock
I will Sleep with my Dualtron with a Palermo, Sicilian shoot Gun!
Spartin' Surfer
Hawaii
Put the motion alarm inside the scooter

@@bscheffel That is true but still that thing is freaking heavy and massive to carry
These days with the new sick generation time out can't even leave it for a minute they will break the controller just for fun .
