So, I investigated the game, it's been DRASTICALLY improved. I mean, really... You actually have input into what your team does throughout the game, there's ACTUAL character creation... I'm actually enjoying it.
This has to be the funniest video for Jesse to do. He's not actively playing a MOBA, but still getting super salty angry regardless. Cracking up the whole way through. :)

I think this is actually a crippling depression simulator. This guy wakes up, and doesn't want to do anything at all, but due to a lack of options decides to play FOBA. Then after two games (appx 3 hours after he wakes up) he loses interest, and has no desire to do anything but sleep. He spends the next 21 hours sleeping away his misery. He never leaves his room, he has no friends, or other hobbies. I feel terribly for this poor fictional character.
This game is bad. The things Jesse said about having 0 context for what the problems are is such a HUGE issue. You just seem to keep losing and have no way to fix it because there aren't any skills to level. The only thing you can seem to do is that learn a role thing and that doesn't explain what it does or how it actually helps you do better. And that shit about him being salty after never choosing the option to be salty? To quote Jesse "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK THIS!"

Also I believe that he should have saved up some EP to be able to learn a speciality instead of just learing new champions. Harvester contains various scenes of violence and gore; implied sexual intercourse, masturbation and S&M; murder; suicide; child abuse; profanity; cannibalism; prostitution; pedophilia; molestation, arson, theft, serial killing; geronticide, vandalism, sexually transmitted diseases; and stereotypes of homosexuals, Native Americans, Italians, and others.
It seems like half the options are poorly translated so Yes should be No and visa versa, cus I think you got banned for trash talking despite saying "No" and you chased someone even when you said "No" to chasing them.

Well, this is a weird one. First things first - there are spelling and writing errors all over the place. Some Engrish going on, lots of typos. That needs to be sorted. The visual design is a mixed bag for me. On one hand, the Game Dev Tycoon-esque visuals feel very "cheap" and lazy to me. It's not that I dislike them, but I am not the biggest fan either. On the other hand, it is a serviceable, familiar and widely popular/acceptable/likable style. This means that my personal preference aside, it is a good choice for a game like this in order to appeal to as many players as possible. The gameplay does very much seem like GDT: grindy, repetitive and simplistic. The good thing is that there seems to be a bit more interaction going on, which is cool. Obviously we can't quite know how it all functions in the long run. The "Setting" is interesting and, once again, something that will be polarizing for consumers. Firstly, the "FOBA" thing is all done very well - it is *very* much like LoL and it is simulated solidly, what with the interactive choices, team comps, character selections, roles on a team... So, for LoL players, this is great. Secondly, however, all of this means that the game is kinda "restrictive", kinda akin to actual LoL: the Roles, the picks, the choices... Thirdly, obviously, this means that fans of DotA 2 and CS:GO, for example, along with totally different games like Starcraft 2, are left on the sideline with a fictional game (and thus gameplay flavor) that may not be their preference. Fourthly, the realization of the FOBA is 50/50 - yeah the little character select is cool, as well as some of the choices, but, at the same time, you don't get: A) some obvious choices (why only "new character" and "counter-pick"? Why aren't there more options?); B) To actually pick the characters; C) Simulation of things like balance changes over time... --- Also, a question with games like this is always "how well do they simulate the game world?". From the first impressions in this video, I'd say that it seems kinda mixed; shallow in some places where you'd hope for it to be detailed. There are also some weird things going on, like the fact that you simply get a player - no options to name him? His IGN? Their gender? Their nationality (maybe for some various bonuses)? All in all, it looks kinda appealing and cool (though that may just be due to the fact that it is a genre/theme with no/low amounts of games), but it also seems kinda barebones and in need of much more content, both in terms of "depth" and "width". Kinda feels like a demo or alpha version. ---- Finally, I'd personally be much more interested in a "E-Sports Manager" or "LoL Manager" or "DotA 2 Manager" or... You get the point. I'd love a game like Football Manager, but for (certain or all) E-Sports. This, where you just manage 1 player, is much less interesting for me.
These mobile spinnoffs that have timers for everything you do are a disgrace to games. The entire purpose of them is to get suckers to pay for microtransactions, yet this doesn't have that, so the devs didn't even know what they were doing.

This game is amazing. It can sense the salt levels of the actual player (Jesse) and act accordingly.

Well, this is a weird one.
First things first - there are spelling and writing errors all over the place. Some Engrish going on, lots of typos. That needs to be sorted.
The visual design is a mixed bag for me.
On one hand, the Game Dev Tycoon-esque visuals feel very "cheap" and lazy to me. It's not that I dislike them, but I am not the biggest fan either.
On the other hand, it is a serviceable, familiar and widely popular/acceptable/likable style. This means that my personal preference aside, it is a good choice for a game like this in order to appeal to as many players as possible.
The gameplay does very much seem like GDT: grindy, repetitive and simplistic. The good thing is that there seems to be a bit more interaction going on, which is cool. Obviously we can't quite know how it all functions in the long run.
The "Setting" is interesting and, once again, something that will be polarizing for consumers.
Firstly, the "FOBA" thing is all done very well - it is *very* much like LoL and it is simulated solidly, what with the interactive choices, team comps, character selections, roles on a team... So, for LoL players, this is great.
Secondly, however, all of this means that the game is kinda "restrictive", kinda akin to actual LoL: the Roles, the picks, the choices...
Thirdly, obviously, this means that fans of DotA 2 and CS:GO, for example, along with totally different games like Starcraft 2, are left on the sideline with a fictional game (and thus gameplay flavor) that may not be their preference.
Fourthly, the realization of the FOBA is 50/50 - yeah the little character select is cool, as well as some of the choices, but, at the same time, you don't get: A) some obvious choices (why only "new character" and "counter-pick"? Why aren't there more options?); B) To actually pick the characters; C) Simulation of things like balance changes over time...

Also, a question with games like this is always "how well do they simulate the game world?". From the first impressions in this video, I'd say that it seems kinda mixed; shallow in some places where you'd hope for it to be detailed.
There are also some weird things going on, like the fact that you simply get a player - no options to name him? His IGN? Their gender? Their nationality (maybe for some various bonuses)?
All in all, it looks kinda appealing and cool (though that may just be due to the fact that it is a genre/theme with no/low amounts of games), but it also seems kinda barebones and in need of much more content, both in terms of "depth" and "width". Kinda feels like a demo or alpha version.

Finally, I'd personally be much more interested in a "E-Sports Manager" or "LoL Manager" or "DotA 2 Manager" or... You get the point.
I'd love a game like Football Manager, but for (certain or all) E-Sports.
This, where you just manage 1 player, is much less interesting for me.

These mobile spinnoffs that have timers for everything you do are a disgrace to games. The entire purpose of them is to get suckers to pay for microtransactions, yet this doesn't have that, so the devs didn't even know what they were doing.
