the fact it is one opens it up to criticism, and I have a one problem, the hand being the hero of past and is also of zonai descent makes no sense, the Zonai disappeared before the calamity, not during or after.
Personally, the more I look at the "Spectral Hand is Ancient Hero who is a Zonai" theory, the less it makes sense. I loved the story pitch, but honestly, the spectral hand seems more closely connected to the Gerudo themselves than the Zonai. The Gerudo letters, the fact that the bracelet is made of Gold which is an integral part of their culture, not to mention being masters at creating jewelry that contains the power of different ores, including luminous stones which flows the jewelry. I think that the sealing hand's bracelet could have been made by the Gerudo, and the seal made by them as well. Besides, the Gerudo sealing one of their own leaders away to not only save Hyrule but to defend their own pride seems like something they would do given the circumstances.
@@littlebabyman8494 It may just be pure gibberish, but I think that the appearance of gerudo letters still proves some connection between whoever created the seal and the Gerudo even if it doesn't translate to anything specific.
I actually don't think any of this is gonna happen, but it's a great idea, it would be a really ambitious game, and I wouldn't mind if this was it at all. Nice work!

You're saying it like the Zelda team haven't already proved themselves to be good, the fact they have been taking their time with it should already tell you just how much they have been working on it.
You start off game then, you find ganondworf, old but still alive. Trapped but not like what you see in the trailer. Curious zelda goes to the struggling ganondworf and before link could stop her
The idea of seeing the loftwing again emerge would be absolutely amazing! Big idea!: Imagine in the cutscene when link uses his arm to resurrect the Loftwing, a statue reminiscent of the Hylian Shield's bird symbol gets life breathed into it. A flash of light ensues and Link and Zelda are both blinded. A "Zelda's Lullaby version" of Ballad of the Goddess which is slower and more like the lullaby plays, and Zelda's eyes light up as she runs towards the off-screen figure ecstatically. Link hears the sound of the Loftwing cawing before looking and then the camera pans to the creature, standing tall, in the middle of the chamber with light rays from the world above pouring in. Zelda immediately pulls out her notebook (she NEEDS this with her btw; that'd be GREAT characterisation) and you see her scribbling whilst she briefly obsesses over the creature. Whilst she draws and talks, Link silently walks around the creature as it follows him around with its eyes before it suddenly pecks him on the top of the head making a funny, hollow peck sound. Zelda sees and laughs. Link looks embarrassed, but smiles. Zelda notices Link smile and comments on it which makes him embarrassed. After an awkward pause, she shows Link what she's been jotting in her journal and the Loftwing's big head comes into frame from behind trying to see what's going on. Zelda drew a basic doodle of the Loftwing and has drawn parallels to the stories her mother told her as a kid about the godess Hylia, Skyloft and so much more. A legend passed down through the royal family. Link puts his hand on the creature's back and it glows again. He jumps on, hoisting Zelda up and Zelda begins talking about how they should prepare for their flight and how Link should practice first just in case something bad happens. This is before Link smirks, does a big ol' "HIYAAAH" sound and the Loftwing launches at max speed out the top with Zelda's screams echoing as they fly out the cave. The scene ends with a pan of the hole they flew out of and one of the Loftwing feathers gently falling to the ground. AS A SIDE NOTE: to fit this theme of Skyward Sword, I propose the boss of this dungeon being reminiscent of any of the bosses from that game and also being the best to fit whatever theme the dungeon entails. Perhaps also, any flying bosses in previous Zelda games could be another solid contender as they fly around a massive arena and link has to grab on to it and climb to its weak spot only after Zelda weakens it with well placed shots on its underbelly first!
I like the idea of Zelda being very loving and nurturing to the Loftwing whilst the relationship between Link and the Loftwing are like two goofballs who taunt each other whenever they can

Loved this, congrats! I think this could match an original story from Nintendo! However, it could be a story expanding the background of Ganondorf and how he became the eerie being that we all know before the calamity. There are also theories based on how pure at heart he is and how cursed his spirit was. The cominbing features of both of you fanfic and actual stpry about Ganondorf origins in this time could possibly turn out to be a masterpiece in Zelda franchise. Keep up the work, guys!
Dude I'm not gonna lie... I'm mind blown. This is waaaay too good! If the game actually turned out to be like this I would be more than happy with it (you must know something....lol) Well done both of you!
Congratulations on this phenomenal video. You've described what would almost definitely be the greatest video game ever made. If a fan pitch can be this good, I can only imagine how incredible the real Breath of the Wild 2 will be
I've been trying to find this video again for like a month, been years since i first watched. I could remember the video vividly but couldn't remember the title or who had made it, I knew it was a collab, I could remember most of the details of what had been presented. I searched for it again today and scrolled for ages and i finally found it. Coming back to this really brings back memories of waiting for this game knowing almost nothing about it. I can't believe it finally comes out next week. You may have been pretty far off (some bits are eerily close to reality aswell though) in this video but.... I don't even slightly care, this video is part of the history of this game as much as any other analysis or video. I'm so ready for this. ALSO PLEASE GOD LET THE LOFTWINGS BE IN ENDGAME TOTK OR DLC I'LL DO ANYTHING 😭 *LET ME PRESS DOWN ON THE D-PAD MID AIR*
Okay so if Nintendo could just take on your incredibly impressive concept, that'd be great. This is just so cool! I was blown away by the 'concept art', especially of Master Kohga. That was just so damn good! Keep it up you guys! And Xeno, you're doing an amazing job in total. Your content is brilliant, I like to see how your channel just keeps on growing. Well done!
Ngl when I first heard the idea, I though it was a bit to hopeful. Especially when considering the amount of gameplay in BotW, but thinking more the majority of time spent creating BotW was with the mechanics and physics of the game itself. Now that they have all the infrastructure in place they have the freedoms to focus more on the story. Overall well thought out video!
This is awesome! I imagine myself going through this story as if it were the actual game! You really deserve koodos for the worldbuilding and story ahead! Keep up the good work!
Alright, first off, I love this concept. Like I want to see something come of this even if it's not a game, heck I could see this working as a legitimately great "Fanfiction" in the right hands. Which brings me to my next point. It may just be coincidence, but this feels a lot like a "BotW-version" of the 'Zelda: Skylines' fanfic. Prologue: An attempt to help someone ends up with an ancient evil freed from its prison & Link lost to the land below. Act 1: Link recovers, and sets out to make things right on the surface while also looking for a way to return to the Sky Kingdom. Act 2: After returning to the Sky Kingdom, Link must then set it right as the Ancient Evil has managed to shut off the titular Sky Lines which causes many problems that must be fixed before link can go face it. Act 3: Upon restoring the Sky Lines, Link sets out to face the Ancient evil & after doing so, the kingdom is united once again. Now, obviously there are MAJOR differences between your out line and the story of 'Zelda: Skylines', and I'm not trying to say you stole anything. Heck this could infact be the first time you've ever heard of it. Im just calling it like I see it, and I'm seeing some similarities. Also, if this IS the first time you've ever heard of 'Zelda: Skylines' I HIGHLY recommend checking it out as it's easily one of the *GREATEST* fanfictions written within the Zelda fandom. It's also one of the longest.
That was some beautiful concept art. I loved all the ideas you have. I also had a similar idea of an overhead danger that is always looming. In the original, Hyrule Castle could usually always be seen. This would be so much better if the castle was in the sky.
If this actually happened this would be amazing! The only issue I have with it is once you return to the overworld, there won't be much to explore other than shrines, minor changes on the islands and the little bit of Praymortum left. Other than that, this is absolutely amazing and I would love it if this actually happened! Subscribed! :D
I love the idea that the floating castle/land segments are an ancient fail safe rather than Ganon's doing. Although, I believe that if any friendly tribes exist underground, they'll be the last people to know the truth about the 7 sages and the Triforce. No one even mentioned it in BotW and I'm not convinced "the power to seal the calamity" Zelda used was THE Triforce. I think that was Zelda's inherent sage-like power, OR just the Triforce of wisdom. I'm hoping the sequel revolves around exploring the origin of the calamity, and obtaining the true, complete, divine relic.
This got me so excited. I really hope some of these ideas are brought to fruition, especially the gameplay elements, like a freely-swapping Link and Zelda, with Link carrying new puzzle-solving skills and Zelda retaining the old sheikah slate runes.
Literally amazing ! These ideas, the beautiful drawings everything thing in this video gives me HYPE like never before... I know i shouldn’t overhype a game that we know nothing about, but i can’t help myself. I love this side of the community where we imagine and worldbuild hyrule ! You got a new subscriber.
Watching this after TOTK and honestly this concept holds up amazingly, I know they aren’t doing a third wild game but I feel like this 3 act structure would fit Zelda so well! (It also made me happy that you brought loftwings back)
It only took 9 and a half minutes for someone to say Zonai. Good job! 😅 Seriously though, this is an interesting set of events. Quite interesting thoughts. I knew as soon as you said flight that Lodteings were going to be involved.
I love it, I agree completely!!! Around 11:50, what if it was something of a Gerudo town situation where only Zelda was aloud in because they could feel something special about her. But they didn't like Link because they thought he was Ganon (Power) and not courage. Love you Xeno.
here after tears of the kingdom to say that the master kohga boss fight idea was pretty good lol obviously not a zombie. but it’s the thought that counts
Wow cool video!!! I loved the artworks and the theory! I think mostly everything is possible, but the Loftwing, but I’d like to be surprised with that!
Ligit, I forgot this wasn't fact. And now I'm sad because I want to play this game! It seems so thought out and interesting and is everything I want in the next game. I'd get the exploration of breath of the wild, along with the dungeons I'm craving. It's seriously exactly what I want. Now I almost wish I didn't watch this because I'm afraid of getting disappointed by the actual game. 😂 This was so well done. Someone has to make this into a book or a comic or something. I'm Invested.
I love the idea of kohga being a boss fight in zombie form but I also really like him and would cry if I would see that and would have to fight him like this. Also I would love to have kohga in botw2 But overall love all of the ideas
I really liked these ideas, with one caveat - the final assault on the castle. The puzzles will have to be very carefully done to not break immersion. It was, until BotW, a living place, not a dungeon, so your standard dungeon puzzles wouldn't fit logically. This means other than damage from the two games (100 years of Calamity plus the rising after Gannon's release), there's not a lot of options for puzzles. A maze, enemies, these are the main obstacles.
This turned out so good. Seeing all these ideas and concepts in video form really sells this game for me and it would be such a great experience for players! At the very least I hope we have traditional dungeons return along with huge explorable underground portions for the game. Pleasure working with you! (also that concept art is incredible)

After watching E3, and then coming back to this... it feels like this may have some canonical story to it!
Well done!
So when you gonna start working at Nintendo? *We are waiting*
Well now if the game is not like this I will be very sad. This is an absolutely fantastic dream - and yet at the same time, very executable.
This is awesome! I imagine myself going through this story as if it were the actual game! You really deserve koodos for the worldbuilding and story ahead! Keep up the good work!
One of the best parts of this video is the appreciation of the masterpiece that is the Professor Layton Vs Phoenix Wright soundtrack
Can’t watch this rn but I’m hyped!!!
I will save for later
Follow up video with side quest ideas?
Edit: I’m also hoping for in-depth character arc predictions.
the zelda team be like dang it they guessed the plot guess itl take another 5 years to redo
May I just say how much I LOVE this storyline?!
This is the best concept of botw 2 ever
Please do more of these!! Best video I have seen in quite a while!
10/10 wish I could play your version of the game - sounds so fun!
I absolutely love the loftwing idea
I really hope that this what the actual game is like because your story would be awesome to play through.
That was some beautiful concept art. I loved all the ideas you have. I also had a similar idea of an overhead danger that is always looming. In the original, Hyrule Castle could usually always be seen. This would be so much better if the castle was in the sky.
OMFG this is insanely well done.. if BoTW2 is anywhere NEAR as good as this, it is sure to be a helluva hit
darn it, now i want to play this theorised game.
Excelent work, this was incredible.
If this actually happened this would be amazing! The only issue I have with it is once you return to the overworld, there won't be much to explore other than shrines, minor changes on the islands and the little bit of Praymortum left. Other than that, this is absolutely amazing and I would love it if this actually happened! Subscribed! :D
just think, one day there will be a video titled: Botw2 speedrun any% WR
I am HERE for loftwings returning! I love my giant birds.
The Acts idea is so interesting as a gameplay mechanic incorporated into the open air style👏👏👏
That artwork is phenomenal 👌
Imagine this was actually the story they made and they have to change the whole story because of this
10:05 That’s a really sick shot of Death Mountain during a blood moon!
Now because you mentioned these ideas, it's safe to say absolutely none of them will be in the game :'(
Literally amazing !
These ideas, the beautiful drawings everything thing in this video gives me HYPE like never before...
I know i shouldn’t overhype a game that we know nothing about, but i can’t help myself.
I love this side of the community where we imagine and worldbuild hyrule !
You got a new subscriber.
Even though there’s a lot of different ideas and theories of what BotW 2 could be, I would absolutely not be against this amazing concept.
Good job! 😅
Seriously though, this is an interesting set of events. Quite interesting thoughts. I knew as soon as you said flight that Lodteings were going to be involved.
You just wrote my entire D&D campaign. Thanks!
But seriously, amazing work you guys!
I NEEEEEEED every single part of this to happen
It really is quite remarkable!!!!!!!
I love it, I agree completely!!!
Around 11:50, what if it was something of a Gerudo town situation where only Zelda was aloud in because they could feel something special about her. But they didn't like Link because they thought he was Ganon (Power) and not courage.
Love you Xeno.
here after tears of the kingdom to say that the master kohga boss fight idea was pretty good lol
obviously not a zombie. but it’s the thought that counts
Honestly, I really like the BotW2 you came up with!! It's got a lot of interesting concepts, and the amount of thought put into it is astounding!!
there's some real great stuff in here. very creative ideas
Wow cool video!!! I loved the artworks and the theory! I think mostly everything is possible, but the Loftwing, but I’d like to be surprised with that!
The art is beautiful.
Also, I hear 'My Quiet Forest Home' playing.
You need to create more of this like a part 2 or a whole series of episodes with difrent ideas!
I'd play this version. GJ gentleman
This. Is. Exactly what the sequel should be! Dang it I hope this is not setting my expectations to high
This is freaking amazing! Love the ideas and concepts and how you pieced it all together! Take my money!!! 😍
This was a great concept, guys!
I cried when I saw the loft wings. I'm so happy that I saw this video
tbh i didnt know if botw 2 could be good with the expectations they set up in the first game but AAAA now i cant wait even more
This makes me sad because it sounds fucking amazing and I know Nintendo won't make the game like this, I'm gonna be dissapointed
There’s a chance it’s a lot different but who knows
same lol we need to give this views so nintendo sees this for botw3 if botw2 is too far in development
Lie
Ligit, I forgot this wasn't fact. And now I'm sad because I want to play this game! It seems so thought out and interesting and is everything I want in the next game. I'd get the exploration of breath of the wild, along with the dungeons I'm craving. It's seriously exactly what I want. Now I almost wish I didn't watch this because I'm afraid of getting disappointed by the actual game. 😂 This was so well done. Someone has to make this into a book or a comic or something. I'm Invested.
I can imagine the next trailer for this game, it’s gonna be so hype!
This was amazing, literally brought tears to my eyes, thank you so much for this
I love the idea of kohga being a boss fight in zombie form but I also really like him and would cry if I would see that and would have to fight him like this. Also I would love to have kohga in botw2
But overall love all of the ideas
never has there been such kick-ass poster potential as that Master Kohga design right there
I really liked these ideas, with one caveat - the final assault on the castle.
This might be better than what we get but this is incredibly ambitious and worthy of BOTW's sequel.
If this is what they make then I have a new favourite game
