In this video are my favorite lures to throw on #lakehouston during the months of September and October.
Depending on the cold fronts that move in these are the two transition months for the lake and sometimes the #fishing can be tough. Especially during September.

I live on the south side of town and for years find myself wondering why I don't fish Houston... your videos are motivating me to get out there and fish it more. North of 1960 are there channel markers or is it fairly open? I've only really fished Luce's and that was years ago prior to the hurricanes and floods of recent years.
You definitely should get out there! It’s in the best shape that it’s ever been in.
Years ago in the early 2000s 12lbs was a big limit. Now that’s pretty common.
It’s really shallow. I need to do a video on how to navigate the lake because there are some shallow areas you need to be aware of.
Harvey really changed north of 1960. It moved sandbars and made a few islands disappear.
After we get two or three really good fronts that bite should turn on big time!
Mini buzz is a must on Lake Houston along with the bandit crank bait. Lance knows what he’s talking about.
Oh yes!!!!! Those will get some Big bites! Those old school bandits were the deal out there!
