Suzuka Nakamoto (中元 すず香, Nakamoto Suzuka, born December 20, 1997), known by her stage names Suzuka and Su-metal , is a Japanese musician and singer. She is best known as a member of the kawaii metal band Babymetal. She is represented by the talent agency Amuse, Inc. and has been a member of three musical groups formed by the company: Karen Girl's, Sakura Gakuin, and Babymetal.
Yui Mizuno (水野 由結, Mizuno Yui, born June 20, 1999) is a Japanese musician, singer, model, and actress. She is a former member of the kawaii metal group Babymetal and the idol group Sakura Gakuin. In October 2018, she left Babymetal due to an undisclosed illness, and will be possibly returning to the stage as a solo artist. She is managed by the Amuse, Inc. talent agency.
Moa Kikuchi (菊地 最愛, Kikuchi Moa, born July 4, 1999) is a Japanese musician, singer, model, and actress. She is represented by the talent agency Amuse, Inc. She is a member of the kawaii metal group Babymetal and a former member of the idol group Sakura Gakuin.
BABYMETAL was formed in 2010.
In March 2014, they took the stage at Nippon Budokan for a 2-day gig, making them the youngest female act to perform there. Their 1st studio album BABYMETAL instantly made it to the US Billboard charts. In summer of the same year, they embarked on their first world tour, performing on the main stage at UK’s prodigious festival Sonisphere Festival 2014 in front of 65,000 festival goers and supporting Lady Gaga on her ArtRave: The Artpop Ball 2014 Tour.
In summer of 2015, BABYMETAL received various awards from prominent UK music magazines KERRANG! and METAL HAMMER and became the first Japanese artist to ever receive these awards. BABYMETAL also performed on the main stage at the massive Reading & Leeds. In April 2016, BABYMETAL had a simultaneous global release for their 2nd album METAL RESISTANCE. Not only did they make the charts in Japan, they also became the highest-charting Japanese band ever on UK’s Official Albums Chart, landing at No. 15th. They also reached the 39th spot on its debut on the U.S. Billboard, becoming the first album by a Japanese artist to break into the chart’s top 40 in more than 53 years. During that same month, BABYMETAL performed at the prestigious Wembley Arena in the UK, becoming the first Japanese artist to ever headline at the venue. They completed their world tour in September at the Tokyo Dome for a consecutive 2 days with over 110,000 people to witness the massive tour final. Not only have they achieved all of the above, they have performed as special guests in various international locations for the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, METALLICA, GUNS N’ ROSES, and KORN.
In 2019, BABYMETAL’s headline show at Yokohama Arena in Japan marked the new beginning of their departure. Literally right after completing their 2-day arena show, BABYMETAL flew to the UK to perform at one of the world’s largest music festivals, Glastonbury Festival, and their appearance at this festival made headlines around the world. That same year in September, BABYMETAL embarked on their METAL GALAXY WORLD TOUR; their first leg of the tour was in the U.S. followed by their dates in Europe.
On October 11th, BABYMETAL had their worldwide release of their 3rd album METAL GALAXY and on that same day, they had their first U.S. headlining arena show at The Forum in Los Angeles, California.
“METAL GALAXY” ranked No.13 on the US Billboard Top 200 (Albums Chart), largely surpassing their own record of their previous album, and ranked No.1 on the Top Rock Albums Chart for the first time ever as an Asian artist. In the UK Official Charts, the album consecutively ranked in the Official Albums Chart Top 20 from their previous album and ranked No.1 on the Rock & Metal Albums Chart.
After completing their longest tour ever consisting of 20 shows in the U.S., BABYMETAL returned to Japan to perform a total of 4 days and had BRING ME THE HORIZON as their guest act. The 4-day performance titled METAL GALAXY WORLD TOUR IN JAPAN was held on November 16th - 17th in Saitama and November 20th - 21st in Osaka, and all shows immediately sold out.
BABYMETAL’s first performance of 2020 took place on January 25th - 26th at Makuhari Messe in Japan. The two performances were added as extra shows to the Japanese leg of METAL GALAXY WORLD TOUR. Over the course of 2 days, BABYMETAL performed songs out of their 3rd album METAL GALAXY.
In February 2020, BABYMETAL had their full European headline run consisting of 17 dates in 11 countries.

@@fendev19 much of the Japanese music industry is controlled by the people behind the scenes. It's very unnatural similar to the K-pop scene in South Korea. But I am certain they enjoy every moment of their experiences being superstars
Would've been cool if they won't overwork their self and have a regular schedule to relax being part of these kind of group will tire your body out if you won't be able to adjust in your first year

The audience were probably asked not to use their smartphones for recording. Japan is a country where people tend to follow the rules.

Man. As I've gotten older, I keep thinking about how I've fallen out of the scene. I keep thinking about how I'd rather sit in the balcony then be in a big crowd of people on the floor getting pushed around. I couldn't think of any band worth being in that crowd anymore.
BABYMETAL is that band. I would get in the pit at one of their shows in a heartbeat, even if it ends up being my last.

One of my top 5 favorite BabyMetal songs! The most bubbly chorus and silliest choreography paired with the growling and raging instrumental sections is just... *chef's kiss* Never gets old. 😅
Well, its a song about Kakurenbo (hide & seek), but they're playing with an oni (japanese ogre).
They're teasing the oni by saying "oni-san kochira" (Im here Mr Oni!).
Then they playfully run away from it (signified by the chorus choreography, "guru-guru kakurenbo 🎶"

@@tenchimasaki7319 it seems like MoaMetal and YuiMetal are not necessarily “Dancing” and doing “Choreography” to this song or any of their other BabyMetal songs….Yui and Moa and SuMetal are doing “Sign Language”….they are Interpreting the song’s Lyrics with their bodies thru dance.

0:37 to 1:45 scream and dance at it's finest. Moa is so good at getting the crowd going. These two little girls are asked to support Su, I think they did their job here. The Kami's have to be the best live band around back then and now. As for Su, even then at 16 yrs old she was on a different planet. What a band this is. No wonder the crowds always loose it with Babymetal. I am so happy to belong to The One.

Thanks for posting these videos, saw my first BABYMETAL video last week and been binge watching since. This entire band (E-KAMI/W-KAMI) are great right down to the songwriters, really great melody and hooks IMO. I've never been into dance routines or choreography but this just works really well, very enjoyable. The girls smiles can melt the coldest heart for sure. Wish the best to Yuimetal, I like all the members equally.

@@foxlimbs7167Moa-Metal and Yui-Metal lipsynched back in the early days of Babymetal. It was only Su-Metal who sang live.
But they did eventually all three start singing live and they definitely sounded better than when they just lipsynched.
I became a babymetal addict after seeing this live performance.
