The band initially wanted to utilize the name "Lincoln Park", however they changed it to "Linkin" to acquire the internet domain "linkinpark.com".

This is genuinely a really cool video. The parallels between the band playing and the movie scenes are great. I love this song so much and it's weirdly pleasing to have it paired with emotionally-charged film clips. Also man those close-ups of Chester singing... love how passionate it feels. Rest well, buddy. Sorry I didn't really know your music until after you were gone.
LP seems to have an affinity for vampire-related film soundtracks:
1) Dracula 2000
2) Twilight
3) Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
LP did more songs for Michael Bay's Transformer Movies than they did for films about vampires. 4 of them to be exact.
The 5th one for some reason didn't feature LP as part of the soundtrack. Perhaps Michael Bay wanted someone different to write the theme song and was sick of having LP doing it for every film. I suppose he felt bad afterwards following Chester's tragic death, though I doubt that was able to stop him from directing the 2018 spin off, "Bumblebee".
At least that's just what I assume.

Excellent song (I'm a fan of Linkin Park, I even got to see them perform in concert once while I was working at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ this concert season) and a fucking awesome movie! Walker who played Lincoln did great in his role!!! One day I'll come see them perform in concert when I'm off from work, one day I will!!!

easily one of the best ways Hollywood introduced a movie! Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter was crazy
Well, I got this by accident when searched for one direction songs this all of a sudden popped out and leaving 1D's video I watched this repeatedly and can't get over this video and when you hear it in full volume on headphones....... Can't shake of the chills from the song and the lyrics gave a new different meaning and JUST LOVE It even more and also didn't knew about the movie so got movie to watch.
Don't think that I didn't knew Linkin Park (cuz I love them and their songs ) but I didn't see this specific video so....lol
