The sound of Batman's footsteps while appearing through the dark, then saying "I'm vengeance" was over the nose. The meetings between Batman and Catwoman barely added any value to the movie. They met up in the same place to say almost the same shit. Riddler singing Ave Maria was unnecessary and cheesy. You wanna show he was mad, we saw it already through his crimes. Aside from that, his riddles were so easy. Moreover, there was no balance between solving the riddles and trying to find the Riddler. Batman was naïvely led by the riddles which made his anger meaningless when the Riddler told him that he helped him. Laughing loud after throwing a silly riddle to show us that the Joker would appear in the next movie was poorly done. We also had enough of the Joker. Show us new villains. Was Bruce Wayne even in the movie? However, I liked the performance of Collin Farrel, John Turturro, and Jeffrey Wright. Don't judge people you don't know again for just disagreeing with you.
I was in my late 20s when the original came out and of the music that came out of Linkin Park always had 4 or 5 songs on each disk that you could put away for 10 years and listen to them again and it doesn't sound dated or stale. I was not into about half of their remixes but this worth buying in an age of streaming.

MAN!! What a remix of Runaway, I genuinely love it more than the original and it works with Batman so well. Also only real Batman nerds like myself will truly appreciate this Batman film. It is my favorite since Batman Returns in 1992. This film nailed the noir detective he is. Not a action superhero. It was dark, gritty and so well written. Every actor nailed their characters so well. I am so glad we finally got a great look at what Gotham city also should look like and the Ice-berg lounge, I have dreamt of that for years. Let me also say the way that Nirvana's something in the way was portrayed in the trailer and film worked so well!! So great to see this film get the appreciation it deserves and also it seems one of my favorite bands is making a come back with this film :)
