The same path for me, i think. After 2 years on GT7, bored with the f...in physics and unreal downshifts. I gave a chance to ACC, after several hours, really just hours that i spent on ACC. My first impression is GT7 waste of time for two years. It's absolutely hardcore and diffucult but it's worth it.
Yeah, GT7 definitely feels like an arcade game after playing ACC. I really do enjoy the raw feel of ACC. I wouldn't say gt7 is a complete waste of time for me. I have the PSVR2 so that really keeps me interested but if don't feel like putting on the headset, it's ACC all day.
@@e.ozduru Enjoy buddy, I do like both but I must admit to enjoying time trial in road cars with stock tires on GT7 a bit more than I do ACC race cars. While they feel good to drive, the tuning element does not appeal to me and leaves me thinking twice about firing ACC up... I suppose I also grew up with gran turismo so there is great appeal to it and all its idiosyncrasies
ACC is definitely more of a sim than GT7. The setup of the car really matters if you want to be fast, and you really have to learn to drive on lower TC and ABS settings to get faster. It's a great experience learning all that stuff and really makes you a better racer
Preciate the comment. Even with my experience with autox and track days, I've never been great with the numbers of dialing in suspension, just know the basics. So hopefully acc will help me get a better grasp on that.
I wish it had VR. The frame pacing is still a little rough, I had to turn on motion blur to smooth it out. I still prefer the car variety in GT7 but Asseto sounds awesome and the road feel is excellent.
Yeah, that would be awesome! And yeah, the driving experience in ACC is alot more intense than GT7. My forearms were smoked by the end of this race. lol I did just get Assetto for the pc so I'll be trying it out soon too.
I use theater mode on my PSVR2 when playing ACC and 90 FOV. It’s not as good obviously as real VR in GT7 but it’s plenty immersive. On the largest screen setting it’s plenty of view. Now I can keep my rig tucked in a corner and don’t have to move it in front of my monitor stand when I wanna race.
Literally made the substitution like 2 months ago. Booted up gt7 1 time 3 or so weeks ago. It’s just a wonderful change of pace to me. Hooked on the tuning aspect and car feel (ACC) even on my g29
Once I go into ACC I couldn’t play GT7 anymore. With the PSVR2 as my monitor and a full DD rig, it’s beyond immersive. Really it’s the only true sim on console.
Supposedly the April 1st update will have it. And although that’s an unfortunate release date, from what I saw that came from the developer. But wouldn’t be the first time I’ve fallen for the ole April 1st jokes
Yeah that was you. You’re on the outside, you hava to leava the spaca!!! 😂. Side by side, you’re turning into him on the corner. As I’m sure you’ve learned, you have to relearn to drive when you jump from GT7 to ACC. GT7 we overpower our cars and have to go from last to first in every race. ACC cars are pretty even so you have to run good lines, carry good speed out of corners, and wait for opportunities. If you did bad on quals then the goal is to move up some positions, but not by bashing and cutting others off. What I found was that the more I learn to race clean by real rules on ACC the better I get on GT7. No more crashing and bashing my way to first. Goal is to not lose any places and gain if I can, while not touching another car. I’m enjoying ACC so much more than GT7 now. But while I can jump in and go with GT7, I have to be more focused to race ACC.
They don't call me the intimidator for nothing. 😅🤣 JK But yeah, learning curve is fairly high when switching over from a lifelong GT player when I'm not great at it either. 😅 Preciate the comment and feedback! It's greatly appreciated!
@@kevtotha ‘Real Racing 3’ is even worse (on iPad). The challenges they give you you have no choice but to bash and crash. ACC has definitely forced me to stop how I did drive on GT7 and RR3 and learn again. But it’s great. Now, that said, I’m going to wait quite a while to feel I have it down before I race against real people. And expect to lose a lot when I do. But it will be ok.
I’m terrible at racing cars what would be the game that has the best graphics and the least simulation? I kinda was thinking of buying Gran Turismo seven to be honest.
If you drive like that you will lose more that you will win. Its all about finess not blunt and rough bumping and braking late. Smooth and finess without hitting others..... its a sim not arcade. Hope you like.the reality of it. And eau rouge has a certain feel to it. Train and learn.
somehow when I do time trials on gt7 I’m like 4 seconds off the fastest guys, and abt 1-2 seconds off A+ drivers When I’m on AC or Iracing I’m ~1-2 sec off at most from fastest times in world… but typically fast enough to win 2nd split by a mile but finish top 5 on top split races… usually being abt a second off… I never get the connection to the car in gt7, just feels like I’m on a cloud. I even feel the similar on iracing however it is miles better than gt7… where I get to a point where I’m smooth and quick but the last second feels inconsistent without completely losing the car AC is the only sim where I feel I am not only closest to the fastest guys, but most importantly the most consistent, and that for me tells me either that’s the sim that is the best or feels the best for me. GT7 let’s say I do a lap at Road Atlanta… and I run a 1:17:9 in gt3… the next lap is a 1:18:6 and it feels like I did everything exactly the same… then the next is a 1:20:00 and I only feel like I made a .25 sec mistake… I know it’s my connection with the game bc I drive Miata’s and karts irl and I may never been the fastest at a high level, I was almost always more consistent than my competition at any level I use to run 6, 7, 8 laps in a row within a tenth of each other… may have been 2 tenths off the pace but even the leaders at national levels were consistent to .5 sec on all clean laps
I can see that. The driving experience is so much more satisfying in ACC. Would love to try it in VR because I think that's one of the main reasons I still play gt7. I have the psvr2 but haven't pulled the trigger on an Oculus yet.
@@kylemanning193 Or maybe it's just a little funny how all these people on the internet, who have never driven a real race car, agree on one game being more close to a reality none of them ever got in touch with.

Hahahaha, nobody wants to drive through you. When you brake next to someone he is still on the inside. You can not steer in to hit the apex, he of she is still there. So dont blame the other one.
I do like gt7 too for accessibility as well but the feel is so nice in ACC so it's definitely a give and take. Depends on what you're looking for in a racing game.
After 4 years of GTS/GR7, I tried ACC just over a year ago and never looked back!

You need to increase the difficulty of the AI, then it won't be so slow in the bends and you won't get rear-ended so often
4 years in GT7.. would be sold in AC on Ps5 if it had the Nurb 24 hrs with the Nordschleife.. has it now ?
Honestly not sure if it has it. I've only played a handful of times now. PSvr2 has me coming back to GT7 tho.
