The Wilde Beast and the Minebuster always makes me feel like we're going to veer of the track. These are classic wooden coaster and they're suppose to be rickity and shake you apart. They will always be there as long as they're repairable.
I remember Minebuster gave me a massive headache 😂 they're fun, but just a little too shaky and painful for my liking. The wooden ones are all like that. I prefer smooth rides with huge drops and flips.
I think the best ride experience on Behemoth is in the back row, while the best experience on Leviathan is in the front row. Don't know why exactly, but my 11 y/o nephew agrees with me as well.
Your Average Weeaboo yes it’s so rough! i really hate how sometimes my restraints get loose while the ride goes on, and i wish they had COMFY cushioned seats
Vortex used to be suppppper smooth, it has gotten bumpier over time. I went on it last week, and it is almost a totally different ride than what it was in the 90's.
Hey I think like your change of decision for minebuster, you should definetly revisit wildebeast, Also Flightdeck is good if you keep your head back and lean your ahead away from the turns, its really good! I'm suprised you don't like the bat though, but Timewarp is trash though
from living in canada my whole life i’ve finally got over my fear and went on leviathan, and it was AMAZING!! i willingly put my hands up during, it’s very smooth. :)
Backlot Stunt Coaster is extremely underrated. My friend tricked me. I saw big bright cars and thought "oh just a kid one, guess we're taking a break from the big ones". Then we got on it. I don't know if I was just taken completely off guard, but I remember it being insane. So fast and loud, especially in the cave when all you can hear is the screaming wind and it's completely black. Definitely one of my favourites!
one of my favs. was my first "big time" coaster back when behemoth was just added to wonderland. loved it then, love it now. just gotta remember to keep your head back and hold if you can around the corkscrew/whirlwind otherwise its easy as heck to bash your head on the transition between the two
I think you hit the nail on the head about behemoth. I've had a lot of great back row rides this season on behemoth, with crazy airtime, but when I rode it today it was like a completely different ride! It started like it usually does, getting yanked over the drop, amazing airtime on the first hill, fun hammerhead, and then BAM, the trim hit. It lost almost all of its speed. It kinda crawled into the midcourse. I've never had a ride like that on behemoth before, and it was really surprising. Totally agree on Leviathan, it's been consistently hauling this season, and so has YS. Minebuster I've only ridden once so far this season, but it was in the middle car, and it was exactly how you said: oddly smooth and fun! Wilde beast I find fun in the different ways it can beat you up, as well as the surprising airtime in certain parts. I had the exact same experience in the back row on the first drop, and it caught me very off guard on passholder night, as I had no idea that it was coming. I actually loved it though, it felt like the ride was trying to throw me off. I rode the bat for the first time in a while tonight, and while it was pretty fun, and a cool rush of adrenaline, I was definitely pretty disoriented when coming back into the station. I find that on the bat, Dragon Fyre and Vortex (All with arrow trains) if you lean forward into the restraints, it mitigates a bunch of headbanging (especially on vortex), and makes the rides more fun. Doesn't work at all on flight deck though (Vekoma restraints). Vortex definitely does have a few weird bumps and shuffles, but I think it gives the ride character. Wow, I just wrote a novel without realizing it, and feel like I still have more to say! Maybe I should turn this into a trip report on r/rollercoasters... Thanks for the great top 10, and for not just hating on rides, but giving specifics for everything! Keep up the great work!
Forgot a few things: I haven't really noticed that much of a B&M rattle on behemoth, or maybe I just don't care (Flight Deck tolerance) Leviathan is definitely a front row ride, and Behemoth is definitely better in the back. Even flight deck and time warp can be enjoyable at times, even if they can only be done as one-offs because of the headache. I like the idea of renovating wonder mountain's guardian, as it has so many problems, but an equal amount of potential. Maybe the mountain itself could use a bit of TLC as well, and maybe cedar fair could make some of it walkable again, seeing as they are trying to bring the park closer to the kings entertainment/taft days, and fix some of the things that paramount ruined.
Went on minebuster today, on the back, after watching this video. It was the worst roller coaster ride of our life. 12 yo stepson felt like he was going to fly out and somehow hit his nose on something, we got wipped around like ragdolls. I used to love the coaster when I was younger but I don’t think I’ll go on it again. Hope it gets removed
I rode vortex for the first time last year in August and my mom and I both had headaches for 3 days from it. Our heads constantly hit the back. If Canada’s wonderland added some more padding it would be awesome.
the mighty Canadian minebuster was so bad for me because the first time i went on it, i didn’t know that there was a metal tunnel and when i went through the tunnel, it was so loud and screechy my ears popped
Here in New York we have two volares. I have only ridden one of them (Superflight) and I only did it once back in 2017 and it was a horrendous experience. I will never ride it again and if the airplane coaster reincarnation does end up replacing this piece of crap I will shed no tears.
I've been on three. The one at CW, the one at Rye Playland (Super Flight), and the one at Coney Island. The Coney Island one is by far the best (the harness makes it almost comfortable). CW's Time Warp is really poor. But Time Warp is an absolute luxury ride compared to Super Flight, which is the roughest coaster I've ever been on (and I've been on a lot).
I think the main problem with CW's coaster lineup is that they put quantity over quality. They have so many coasters, but so many look just mediocre or bad. Although I've never been, I wouldn't consider their lineup great until they RMC Wilde Beast.
They alway's try to "top" last year's reveal. With how many rides there are now, they're starting to cut out a lot of the scenery and now the park looks like a whole lot of cement and roller coaster supports. That being said though, I do think that it is quite an old park with a large reputation (especially in Canada) that it has to hold up and they need to incorporate these new rides to continue attracting visitors. I'm not upset with the new additions, but I do wish they wouldn't just drop off their old rides like an afterthought and keep the "magic" happening with some of the older 'classic' rides
My personal thoughts on this list: Here is how you improve Canada's Wonderland 17 + 16: Remove Flight Deck and Time Warp insert an Intamin/Mack Launch 15: Wilde Beast: RMC Wilde Beast 14: The Bat: It's a Vekoma Boomerang, every park has those 13: Taxi Jam: It's a kids ride, what are you going to do? 12: Wonder Mountain's Guardian: Fun dark ride, too many technical difficulties/Revamp the queue and station 11: Thunder Run: Its a family coaster 10: Silver Streak: It's a kids ride 9: Dragon Fyre: Take it out and add a B&M Looping Coaster like Banshee 8: Ghoster Coaster: GCI or Gravity Group revamp 7: The Fly: It's one of those Wild Mouse's coasters and for families 6: Backlot Stunt Coaster: It's fine but if Wonderland gets another launch you need to take it out. 5: Vortex: Re-theme more but it is a classic 4: Behemoth: B&M Hyper 3: Mighty Canadian Minebuster: It's a classic and smooth 2: Yukon Striker: B&M Dive 1: Leviathan: B&M Giga Notes: Canada's Wonderland would not put a Mack Double Launch in Med Fair because of Leviathan. They would most likely put it somewhere like in Grand World Expo because they're no major coasters in that area. Canada's Wonderland would not RMC Minebuster because it is too close to Yukon Striker granted I did say RMC Wilde Beast BUT Wilde Beast really needs it. Canada's Wonderland would not take out Vortex because it is too much of a fan favorite Canada's Wonderland would take out The Fly if they need a new family coaster because these types of coasters are so common. Canada's Wonderland would put a B&M Looping Coaster near Leviathan because it wouldn't be as big as a Mack Double Launch If you read the comment thank you. These are just my personal thoughts and if you disagree with me lets talk down below VVVVVV
Wilde Beast is the danger zone ride, when it only had a steel latch as its safety restraint. When riding, it loosened up, and I had to hold onto it with my life by bearing my body weight on the bar. Great story to tell, real life horror at the time.
Here is my list 17: Flight Deck 16: Time Warp 15: The Bat 14: Taxi Jam 13: Silver Streak 12: Ghoster Coaster 11: Dragon Fyre 10: Thunder Run 9: Wilde Beast (Ride this in the front next time) 8: Mighty Canadian Minebuster (Also ride this in the front) 7: The Fly 6: Wonder Mountain’s Guardian 5: Backlot Stunt Coaster 4: The Vortex 3: Yukon Striker 2: Behemoth 1: LEVIATHAN!!!!
I haven't been to CW for eight years now. Yes, riding the Wild beast is painful. So is the similar ride at Darian Lake called the Predator. These rides were designed to be rough. They were rough when they were new (Yes, I rode them when they were new) But they have become rougher with age. The secret to enjoying them is to relax. Trying to hang on harder just results in more pain. Still, this was one of the original rides from the time the park was opened. I would be sad to see it go.
Great video! I always enjoy seeing different people's opinions. I won't tear you apart at all. But for me personally, I really enjoyed Time Warp. It ended up being a sleeper hit for me, just because of how strange and unique it is. I rode it once each of my 3 days there. I hold on tight, so no headbanging or getting thrown around at all. But it's still a little uncomfortable, so I can only handle one ride a day. I was noticing the rattle on Behemoth, but I've felt a lot worse on other B&Ms. It's a middle-of-the-road B&M hyper for me. I wasn't allowed to ride Taxi Jam, so: 16. Wild Beaste 15. Flight Deck 14. Silver Streak 13. Bat 12. Fly 11. Ghoster Coaster 10. Wonder Mt Guardian 9. Thunder Run 8. Dragon Fyre 7. Time Warp 6. Minebuster 5. Backlot 4. Vortex 3. Behemoth 2. Leviathan 1. Yukon Striker (but it's so close)
I was ready for some non enthusiast hot takes, and I'm with you on a lot of this stuff, but oh man, I have to disagree on wilde beast, but I respect your opinion and I'm sorry you had that experience. one train is rougher than the other, but I can't recall which. there's something pure and classic and genuinely "wild" about that thing. it's been the first coaster at the park that I've taken a lot of people who haven't been on coasters before on for about twenty years. it's a great icebreaker, and in a light rain, multiple rides in the back are a special treat. but to each their own! I'd love to chat to you one day about my mom's experience babysitting and minding horses on the farm that used to be where the park is now, and brainstorming ideas for how to RMC the minebuster. keep up the work, friend.
I didn't realize but Yukon striker is like a coaster that I would make in a video game that would weave over the path and around the park, it's really cool
My boyfriend and I live and hour from Cedar Point and go all the time. We're planning a trip to Canada's Wonderland and I'm super excited to ride some different roller coasters! Thanks for the video!
The first and last coaster I've ridden was Minebuster back in 1989. If I were to find myself back at CW (I'm only a couple hours down the 401), what would be your suggestion for an old bones' smooth ride that wouldn't freak me out too much?
my ranking (based on the last time I rode): 1. Yukon 2. Leviathan 3. Behemoth 4. Vortex 5. Backlot Stunt Coaster 6. The Bat 7. Dragon Fyre 8. Thunder Run 9. The Fly 10. Wonder Mountain (haven't rode it yet unfortunately, so it goes about in the middle) 11. Silver Streak 12. Taxi Jam 13. Flight Deck 14. Ghoster Coaster 15. Wilde Beast 16. Time Warp 17. Minebuster (I heard they fixed it this year but I haven't rode it yet this year so until then...)
I promise the ghost shooting ride in snoopy ville needs to be fixed because I shoot ghosts at the blue light and I don’t get a score and silver streak is like worst than flight deck because they are both bumpy I cannot stand silver streak Like if you agree
Vortex does seem a bit rougher. I don't remember it being quite as rough as it was when i rode it back in 2016 and 2018, i rode it this past wednesday and it is a bit painful as my lower back keeps bumping against the seat right against my tailbone!
i threw up after the wilde beast and i never throw up after rides, my friend also lifted her arms up and elbowed me in the head, i literally couldn’t remember what happened after i got hit lol. Backlot stunt coaster is my absolute FAVOURITE ride, im just sad they got rid of all the cool stuff such as the helicopter whirls and the fire barrels
btw, if you want lots of airtime on yukon striker, push your elbows up while they put the restraints down so the crew thinks you are just a big person, and then you will practically be able to stand up and its really fun on the drop :D This works for a 13 year old I dont know about other people
Yukon Striker and Leviathan will always be my favourites!! Live an hour from Canadas Wonderland get season pass almost every year and just can’t get enough of riding leviathan
Fun facts: Top Gun was off by about 8” when building the ride. They start building at both ends and meet in the middle. It was off by 8” or so. This may have contributed to the stupidly rough ride. Also a restraint released on the inaugural run with the park executives. One man narrowly avoided death when the rider next to him held the restraint down. G force helped. The seat belts were designed and implemented across all “Top Gun” style coasters in the then Paramount parks group. True.
My sister's boyfriend came with my family to the park this spring, and he said seeing me and my brother (both adults), on the Fly was the funniest thing he's ever seen.
As a Canadian thrill seeker, my list is almost a duplicate as yours but my respect for family friendly rides is not even comparable to the respect you give it (you gives these rides a lot of love)
LOL time warp is such a thrill though, ur literally lying down in a strapped tube thing flying through the air. I thought I was gonna dye and the first drop almost made me shart myself
Great video and commentary! I'm using this as a guide to plan my trip in 2 weeks. I especially like your contrarian position on things which is 100% fine. 🙂
Wonder Land is not fluffy friendly i was on the time warp and i almost didn't fit and then i went on the mine buster and the sits i swear the sits were moded for a child or a real twiggy person which upsetted me because i was able to ride it before. this Park could use some wider sits or ride with wider sits. splash works was wonderful and fluffy friendly.
We have a very similar taste in roller coasters! I totally agree with your list. I think that the Mountain Guardian can rank much higher because the track is great, but they need to update their effects. I was there this season and could barely see the screens because they were so dark. Also I couldn't hear the soundtrack in the background which would create a better atmosphere if improved. Hopefully they invest in that.
I fell down this rabbit hole a while back. I’m not big into the giant coasters like Leviathan or others with big drops or loops, but this was fascinating to me.
Leviathan - I almost passed out the first time I rode this ride. Sure enough though, after the deadly drop, you feel light as a feather as you speed through the vast distance that overhangs into the parking lot. Plus its hilarious as fuck whenever a millennial loses their phone trying to record themselves on the ride. Yukon Striker - This one is such a gas. Travelling throughout most of the west end of the park is such a feat. The experience flies by you without any warning. The fact that this SOB stops just before you drop is such a dick move but it just makes it all the more amazing. Behemoth - The tamest of the super coasters which has sadly diminished it's popularity over time as bigger and badder rides are installed. Still, if Leviathan and Striker are too busy, you are usually guaranteed short lines at Behemoth. Vortex - I appreciate this ride more because of the scope of going to the top of Wonderland Mountain and soaring over the pond. Wish I could store my bag in a bin where it's safe. Backlot Stunt Coaster - This one is a banger. I remember when my friend went on it with me for the first time, I warned him that this ride goes fast. One second later, we blasted like a rocket. The Fly - Probably the worst line in the entire park for what it is. There's an undeniable pleasure one gets from the sharp twists and turns from Fly. Shame it's always busy and the ride is over before you even know it. Flight Deck - Kay, I used to get whiplash on this ride until I learned that if you press your head against the headrest as hard as humanly possible, you can prevent buffeting against your restraints. Bonus points since my friends and I loved singing Danger Zone or All Star during the entire ride. Ghoster Coaster - I had such fond memories of riding this at night when I was a young Scooby Doo enthusiast. It's a bit weird still going on it as an adult but it's the most nostalgic ride for me. Silver Streak - Such a humble steel coaster. Nothing amazing but it's so cute and brisk. The Bat - I'm always scared that this thing is gonna break right in the middle of a loop and we all hang upside down for three hours straight... It is nice that there's a group line and a single rider line. Wilde Beast - Much like Minebuster in terms of a crummy wooden coaster. I can barely fit in the seat due to the extra padding now. Still fun on occasion. Thunder Run - The lines for this one are excruciatingly long since every ride has two cycles. It's fine but far from my favourite. Vortex is better. Wonder Mountain Guardian - Sucks that you have to pay a locker fee to store your stuff rather than keep it in a bin. Still miles better than that POS Boo Blaster ride that barely works anymore. Dragon Fire - Pretty boring ride considering it's competition. Very overshadowed. Taxi Jam - It's for kids. I never went on it so I can't say anything. Minebuster - A really bumpy pain in the ass. I hate how sore I feel after each experience. Granted, they did improve it last time but I still find it less fun than the other coasters. Time Warp - Oh fucking hell, I hate the amount of pain I get from this ride. My head gets buffeted, my ears get boxed and it's uncomfortable all throughout. The one ride I actively avoid.
From my one (two-day) visit last summer: 1. Behemoth (best B&M hyper I’ve been on so far, and I’ve been on almost all the North American ones) 2. Leviathan (SO much better at the end of the day than earlier! Great ride but I really felt the shortness. Very close in ranking to Behemoth, maybe better) 3. Vortex (I loved the drop off the mountain) 4. Thunder Run (loved the weird originality)
I haven't been to Wonderland since the year Vortex opened- wow so much to ride now! What was the name of the stand up coaster thats gone now? That was one of my favorites back then.
I’ve had the WORST experience with time warp, my feet were slipping out from out from underneath me. I was having to pull my self back up... my friends sister went on it with me and she had the same thing happen to her.
Behemoth is underrated ngl. Maximum hang time, super fast, and super fun. I get that some ppl ride it so much it dies down for them, but like nobody talks about it which is sad
@@AmusementInsiders nice! I live in Ohio so as you said I would love an unbiased, getting tired of this ride and the line, opinion. And I have a feeling it will be harder to list and you'll get more heat if you don't choose everyones favorite ride exactly how they like it. Have fun!
Here’s my list I’m starting at 16 because i never rode the guardian 16. flight deck 15. time warp 14. stunt coaster 13. taxi jam 12. silver streak 11. fly 10. thunder run 9. ghoster coaster 8. bat 7. dragon fire 6. wild beast 5. minebuster 4. vortex 3. behemoth 2. yukon striker 1. leviathan
The Wilde Beast is by far the most thrilling coaster in the park since it's the only one where I legitimately fear for my life while riding.
J R Hahahaha 🤣very well put lol I can’t argue with thay
this is sarcasm right?
Wrong behemoth is
i actually just got whiplash from that damn ride !! still my favourite though.
J R for real when I go on there I legit have flashbacks of my whole life
Only legends remember when flight deck was “top gun”
AwesomenessOfEpicness yes i still call it that! And time warp was tomb raider
Lisa Madison OMG I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE
Yep and the stand up Togo coaster shockwave
I remember that
That was 13 years ago lol
Behemoth is #1 for me. The trim brake doesn't affect me much. The back seats ARE AMAZING on behemoth.
Vlaggio I hear that from a lot of people so don’t worry haha it’s normal to still like Behemoth more
Vlaggio yea I sat in the front on behemoth yesterday it just doesn’t have the same flying feeling as sitting on the back does
I don't like the restraints, one time I went and I didn't feel secure at all, and held on to the sides for dear life.
Agreed 100% The seats are so comfy!
I could definitely see Behemoth being better than Leviathan. I've heard its one of the best B&M Hypers.
Lol my friends and I call flight deck "the migraine"
That rides a guaranteed headache
Ece1492 k retweet
I've heard it called the concussion machine.
Ece1492 k Same with time warp
Yesssss
The Wilde Beast and the Minebuster always makes me feel like we're going to veer of the track. These are classic wooden coaster and they're suppose to be rickity and shake you apart. They will always be there as long as they're repairable.
Kev Louie hahahahaha I know exactly what you’re talking about

Spot on. The two thrillingest rides in the park.

Thats what I did and now flight deck is my fourth favourite roller coaster at Canada’s Wonderland
I had a behemoth rain ride on the back row and it was easily the best experience I've ever had on a CW ride it's my fav ride there
Jose Calderon yeah sometimes I get really good rides on it as well 😢
I think the best ride experience on Behemoth is in the back row, while the best experience on Leviathan is in the front row. Don't know why exactly, but my 11 y/o nephew agrees with me as well.

Ugh, I'm getting a headache just looking at the Flight Deck POV.
i know right, damn I should have partnered up with Advil for this video :p
I threw up after going on
It didn’t hurt me ahen I went on for some reason

lucky

Vortex feels like it’s getting rougher. I think that it needs new restraints.
Your Average Weeaboo it is something they can fix though so that’s good :)

It sucked on how short the ride was compared to the line up waiting to get on
this is so trueeee
Yes I totally agree I was super excited but in the end it was like riding the bat it something
do y’all wanna hear a secret about how to cheat the line for yukon striker?
Yeah there was so much advertisement for it but not going to lie it’s kind of disappointing
I don't think that Canada's wonderland should remove Wilde beast because it's a classic ride in the park.
Matt's Moving Picturezz I think we have too many mediocre classics though
ya but its prime real estate an infinity coaster, launched coaster. They should RMC minebuster
time is getting the worst of it, its one of my top candidates for the rmc treatment

I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW WILDE BEAST IS RATED LESS SCARY THAN MINEBUSTER BY THE PARK 💀
I feel like flight deck would be fine if they improved the padding on the over shoulder restraints.
No that "Ride" if you can call it that is beyond saving
@@dashielcockrill998 how so?
They made the padding a lot better a few years back but it is still awful
@@soupinabagel4021 that's why I'm saying improve it more.

Dragon Fyre has always been the unofficial "first ride" of Canada's Wonderland because it gets you loose and warmed up for everything else.

from living in canada my whole life i’ve finally got over my fear and went on leviathan, and it was AMAZING!! i willingly put my hands up during, it’s very smooth. :)
Macka C that’s amazing
I believe that they also put different wheels on leviathan as well
Braeden Berger they leave the “winter wheels” on for a bit. Each train has 8 wheels

Nishant Kumar there’s about 8 per train left on

Went on minebuster today, on the back, after watching this video. It was the worst roller coaster ride of our life. 12 yo stepson felt like he was going to fly out and somehow hit his nose on something, we got wipped around like ragdolls. I used to love the coaster when I was younger but I don’t think I’ll go on it again. Hope it gets removed
I ride Yukón striker at night and the whole city looked amazing with all the lights when you were at the top
I gotta admit that ghosted coaster is underrated, I think it’s bc it’s made out of wood.
I rode vortex for the first time last year in August and my mom and I both had headaches for 3 days from it. Our heads constantly hit the back. If Canada’s wonderland added some more padding it would be awesome.
i your hitting the back your putting your head forward to much but i did have the same problem first ride.
Got stuck on timewarp for 2hrs 4 years ago. Was talking with the other people and are now my best friends👍
Nice video, Leviathan is my personal favorite coaster as well.
yay we agree :)
Behemoth has more drops it’s nice tho
I think Yukon striker is rather equal with or above leviathan when it comes to ranking, my opinion
the mighty Canadian minebuster was so bad for me because the first time i went on it, i didn’t know that there was a metal tunnel and when i went through the tunnel, it was so loud and screechy my ears popped
WTF. FLIGHT DECK IS IN MY TOP 5 LMAO😭😭😂😂 YOU PUT TIME WARP IN FRONT OF FLIGHT DECK?!?😭😂😂😂
Kalie Cook RIIGHT what an idiot 😂😂😂
I did say I’d trigger a lot of ppl lol
UGH NO I LOVE TIME WARP SO DON’T YOU DARE
My rides that i like. (1 Dragon fire, 2 flight deck, 3 minebuster)
my most disliked rides. (time warp)
Yeah those Zamperla Volares like Time Warp have no business being in a major park!
Exactly!
Here in New York we have two volares.
I have only ridden one of them (Superflight) and I only did it once back in 2017 and it was a horrendous experience. I will never ride it again and if the airplane coaster reincarnation does end up replacing this piece of crap I will shed no tears.
yeah lets tear down rare roller coasters!!!!
I've been on three. The one at CW, the one at Rye Playland (Super Flight), and the one at Coney Island. The Coney Island one is by far the best (the harness makes it almost comfortable). CW's Time Warp is really poor. But Time Warp is an absolute luxury ride compared to Super Flight, which is the roughest coaster I've ever been on (and I've been on a lot).
chazzzy420 Do you mean Volare?
Quick summary:
1. Leviathan
2. Yukon striker
3. Minebuster
4. Behemoth
5. Vortex
6. Backlot stunt coaster
7. The fly
8. Ghoster coaster
9. Dragon fyre
10. Silver streak
11. Thunder run
12. Wonder mountains guardian
13. Taxi jam
14. The bat
15. Wilde beast
16. Time warp
17. Flight deck
I think the main problem with CW's coaster lineup is that they put quantity over quality. They have so many coasters, but so many look just mediocre or bad. Although I've never been, I wouldn't consider their lineup great until they RMC Wilde Beast.
LoopingProductions I agree 100%
They alway's try to "top" last year's reveal. With how many rides there are now, they're starting to cut out a lot of the scenery and now the park looks like a whole lot of cement and roller coaster supports. That being said though, I do think that it is quite an old park with a large reputation (especially in Canada) that it has to hold up and they need to incorporate these new rides to continue attracting visitors. I'm not upset with the new additions, but I do wish they wouldn't just drop off their old rides like an afterthought and keep the "magic" happening with some of the older 'classic' rides
I agree, the only amazing coasters there are behemoth, leviathan and Yukon striker
How can you film the rides if cameras are not allowed?
Maybe a chest go-pro I dunno, they don’t allow helmet cams
These are Wonderlands Povs
My personal thoughts on this list:
Here is how you improve Canada's Wonderland
17 + 16: Remove Flight Deck and Time Warp insert an Intamin/Mack Launch
15: Wilde Beast: RMC Wilde Beast
14: The Bat: It's a Vekoma Boomerang, every park has those
13: Taxi Jam: It's a kids ride, what are you going to do?
12: Wonder Mountain's Guardian: Fun dark ride, too many technical difficulties/Revamp the queue and station
11: Thunder Run: Its a family coaster
10: Silver Streak: It's a kids ride
9: Dragon Fyre: Take it out and add a B&M Looping Coaster like Banshee
8: Ghoster Coaster: GCI or Gravity Group revamp
7: The Fly: It's one of those Wild Mouse's coasters and for families
6: Backlot Stunt Coaster: It's fine but if Wonderland gets another launch you need to take it out.
5: Vortex: Re-theme more but it is a classic
4: Behemoth: B&M Hyper
3: Mighty Canadian Minebuster: It's a classic and smooth
2: Yukon Striker: B&M Dive
1: Leviathan: B&M Giga
Notes:
Canada's Wonderland would not put a Mack Double Launch in Med Fair because of Leviathan. They would most likely put it somewhere like in Grand World Expo because they're no major coasters in that area.
Canada's Wonderland would not RMC Minebuster because it is too close to Yukon Striker granted I did say RMC Wilde Beast BUT Wilde Beast really needs it.
Canada's Wonderland would not take out Vortex because it is too much of a fan favorite
Canada's Wonderland would take out The Fly if they need a new family coaster because these types of coasters are so common.
Canada's Wonderland would put a B&M Looping Coaster near Leviathan because it wouldn't be as big as a Mack Double Launch
If you read the comment thank you. These are just my personal thoughts and if you disagree with me lets talk down below VVVVVV
Stone2244 great list
Is flight deck, top gun? I haven't been there in a while lol.
Duck Hunter Gaming yes they changed the name I believe
Wilde Beast is the danger zone ride, when it only had a steel latch as its safety restraint. When riding, it loosened up, and I had to hold onto it with my life by bearing my body weight on the bar. Great story to tell, real life horror at the time.
what do you think about windseeker
Shaan Patel I’m scared of it haha 🤣
Here is my list
17: Flight Deck
16: Time Warp
15: The Bat
14: Taxi Jam
13: Silver Streak
12: Ghoster Coaster
11: Dragon Fyre
10: Thunder Run
9: Wilde Beast (Ride this in the front next time)
8: Mighty Canadian Minebuster (Also ride this in the front)
7: The Fly
6: Wonder Mountain’s Guardian
5: Backlot Stunt Coaster
4: The Vortex
3: Yukon Striker
2: Behemoth
1: LEVIATHAN!!!!
I'd swap Levi and yukon besides that I totally agree :D
Great list :)
Your a moron
@@matttheawesomer7433same
This man really said Mine Buster was better than Behemoth
You must be very sensitive if you think Wilde Beast is painful, but I do agree with you about Time Warp. it is the worst ride in the park
Marcus Fernandes haha my friends tell me I’m sensitive lol 😂
I haven't been to CW for eight years now. Yes, riding the Wild beast is painful. So is the similar ride at Darian Lake called the Predator.
These rides were designed to be rough. They were rough when they were new (Yes, I rode them when they were new) But they have become rougher with age.
The secret to enjoying them is to relax. Trying to hang on harder just results in more pain. Still, this was one of the original rides from the time the park was opened. I would be sad to see it go.
How is time warp bad?
Great video! I always enjoy seeing different people's opinions. I won't tear you apart at all. But for me personally, I really enjoyed Time Warp. It ended up being a sleeper hit for me, just because of how strange and unique it is. I rode it once each of my 3 days there. I hold on tight, so no headbanging or getting thrown around at all. But it's still a little uncomfortable, so I can only handle one ride a day. I was noticing the rattle on Behemoth, but I've felt a lot worse on other B&Ms. It's a middle-of-the-road B&M hyper for me. I wasn't allowed to ride Taxi Jam, so:
16. Wild Beaste
15. Flight Deck
14. Silver Streak
13. Bat
12. Fly
11. Ghoster Coaster
10. Wonder Mt Guardian
9. Thunder Run
8. Dragon Fyre
7. Time Warp
6. Minebuster
5. Backlot
4. Vortex
3. Behemoth
2. Leviathan
1. Yukon Striker (but it's so close)
Iron Rattler fanboy no worries at all. I’ve noticed Americans enjoy Time Warp: must be something in the water hahah just kidding 🙈
Finally I’ve been waiting for you to make this since Yukon came out.
Not Divine ッ haha lots of people have been asking for it. I’ll do Dollywood, Cedar Point and Carowinds soon
Ryan MB yeah and it fits in with the tree line so well for pictures
For me- I really like cor. Wrong kid- for me- I think that silver streak is worse then leviathan
I was always scared I was gonna trip and fall while getting out of Time Warp. I wish they could stop it completely.
Hello Zen don’t worry, it’s totally safe
Hello Zen I went on time warp for the first time 2 days ago and Dear. Lord but it was raining so nobody came and we just walked in haha
I’m going to Canada’s wonderland really soon so I’m going to ride these rides from 17 to 1! I’m really exited
I also hate flight deck because it hurts my head
Maria and Marisa ikr
I love the ride but my head always hurts
My boyfriend and I live and hour from Cedar Point and go all the time. We're planning a trip to Canada's Wonderland and I'm super excited to ride some different roller coasters! Thanks for the video!
Megan Rayanne you def need to check out Canada’s Wonderland
The discord links expired can u get the new one thx ❤️
Bruz Itzkaiden discord.gg/mwkRruY here you go
Thx
The first and last coaster I've ridden was Minebuster back in 1989. If I were to find myself back at CW (I'm only a couple hours down the 401), what would be your suggestion for an old bones' smooth ride that wouldn't freak me out too much?
Svartr Yukon is smooth and comfortable, thunder run, or klockworks and other smoother flats. The park also has a ton of amazing shows
Flight deck used to be called top gun based on the movie
I know because that is my park that I normally go to
Nolan Brodrecht I remember that
Wild beast DOES NOT deserve the hate it gets, u have to remember that wooden roller coasters r always kinda bumpy and it’s not always that bad
Yeah but mine buster is way smoother compared to wild beast
my ranking (based on the last time I rode):
1. Yukon
2. Leviathan
3. Behemoth
4. Vortex
5. Backlot Stunt Coaster
6. The Bat
7. Dragon Fyre
8. Thunder Run
9. The Fly
10. Wonder Mountain (haven't rode it yet unfortunately, so it goes about in the middle)
11. Silver Streak
12. Taxi Jam
13. Flight Deck
14. Ghoster Coaster
15. Wilde Beast
16. Time Warp
17. Minebuster (I heard they fixed it this year but I haven't rode it yet this year so until then...)
Xavier Liska great list
It doesn't feel like they fixed it
1 Nightmare
2 Behemoth
3 Wild Beast
@@mayam5069 yeah truthfully after my experiences on Minebuster and Wilde Beast I am very scared to go back on them, whether they fixed it or not
I promise the ghost shooting ride in snoopy ville needs to be fixed because I shoot ghosts at the blue light and I don’t get a score
and silver streak is like worst than flight deck because they are both bumpy I cannot stand silver streak
Like if you agree
OpenStarter SAME
Vortex does seem a bit rougher. I don't remember it being quite as rough as it was when i rode it back in 2016 and 2018, i rode it this past wednesday and it is a bit painful as my lower back keeps bumping against the seat right against my tailbone!
TheBrantfordRailfan yeah it’s a bit sad but it is something that can be fixed :)
i threw up after the wilde beast and i never throw up after rides, my friend also lifted her arms up and elbowed me in the head, i literally couldn’t remember what happened after i got hit lol. Backlot stunt coaster is my absolute FAVOURITE ride, im just sad they got rid of all the cool stuff such as the helicopter whirls and the fire barrels
shayla fleming damnnnnn
btw, if you want lots of airtime on yukon striker, push your elbows up while they put the restraints down so the crew thinks you are just a big person, and then you will practically be able to stand up and its really fun on the drop :D This works for a 13 year old I dont know about other people
Razberry great advice
Props to the camera man for being so tall.
Edit: WOW I GOT A LIKE
Edit 2: oh wait that’s mine 😢.
I hope they never remove Wilde beast because it is one of the only wooden rides and if you don't like it don't go on it.
Yukon Striker and Leviathan will always be my favourites!! Live an hour from Canadas Wonderland get season pass almost every year and just can’t get enough of riding leviathan
I got stuck on the bat....oof...but the Yukon Striker was def my fav
Mikaela B oh no really?
Fun facts: Top Gun was off by about 8” when building the ride. They start building at both ends and meet in the middle. It was off by 8” or so. This may have contributed to the stupidly rough ride.
Also a restraint released on the inaugural run with the park executives. One man narrowly avoided death when the rider next to him held the restraint down. G force helped. The seat belts were designed and implemented across all “Top Gun” style coasters in the then Paramount parks group. True.
Time warp has a different experience for everyone. My opinion on it is that it’s rly fun and I enjoyed it.
Tbh it’s my favourite. Nice video btw
H I yeah I’ve noticed that. It’s like split who likes it and who doesn’t
My sister's boyfriend came with my family to the park this spring, and he said seeing me and my brother (both adults), on the Fly was the funniest thing he's ever seen.
Trogdor lol I can see why haha
I haven’t been to Canada’s wonderland too many times but when I do go I love to go on wild beast
MC19 yeah a front row ride isn’t terrible
As a Canadian thrill seeker, my list is almost a duplicate as yours but my respect for family friendly rides is not even comparable to the respect you give it (you gives these rides a lot of love)
LOL time warp is such a thrill though, ur literally lying down in a strapped tube thing flying through the air. I thought I was gonna dye and the first drop almost made me shart myself
Jo Jo I can see why people would like time warp
Amusement Insiders it made me shart myself
Amusement Insiders I sharted
Amusement Insiders I repeat I sharted on the ride
Jo Jo idk why but this made me laugh. So hard
does #1 still jerk you at end with abrupt stop lol . I rode that ride like 7 times in a row and then my face was wind burnt
EPIC EBIKES I def get wind burn but it’s so worth it
@@AmusementInsiders is the fast lane in full force, $$$ skip lines hehe

I love the bat I’ve went on it one time with my cousin 10 times straight at night.
Bricks and World Building oh my! That’s crazy
The Bat at nighttime is great. It's a massive skip during the day though.
Great video and commentary! I'm using this as a guide to plan my trip in 2 weeks. I especially like your contrarian position on things which is 100% fine. 🙂
vortex was definitely more bumpy and faster this year, it felt different yet still fun!
Wonder Land is not fluffy friendly i was on the time warp and i almost didn't fit and then i went on the mine buster and the sits i swear the sits were moded for a child or a real twiggy person which upsetted me because i was able to ride it before. this Park could use some wider sits or ride with wider sits. splash works was wonderful and fluffy friendly.
on time warp you literally feel like you’re about to fall out the bottom. from experience being short and not feeling secure
I've never had a bad experience on any of these, sure some are better than others but they're all fun and awesome.
Agreed but not wild beast
We have a very similar taste in roller coasters! I totally agree with your list. I think that the Mountain Guardian can rank much higher because the track is great, but they need to update their effects. I was there this season and could barely see the screens because they were so dark. Also I couldn't hear the soundtrack in the background which would create a better atmosphere if improved. Hopefully they invest in that.
Katherine Blaszczak glad to hear haha 🤣 I try to not be bias
The drop at the end it 👌
Flight deck is SO painful lol. I think for me the bat and behemoth are my favourites and always have been
flight deck and the bat need to be higher they’re amazing!
SophiaPhillomen I can see why others may enjoy it
I love Flight Deck but I absolutely HATED the Bat. Bat's gotta go
I fell down this rabbit hole a while back. I’m not big into the giant coasters like Leviathan or others with big drops or loops, but this was fascinating to me.
dragon fyre is great but if you're over 6 foot it hurts like hell to squish into
Tobofrost I know right!
From my one (two-day) visit last summer:
1. Behemoth (best B&M hyper I’ve been on so far, and I’ve been on almost all the North American ones)
2. Leviathan (SO much better at the end of the day than earlier! Great ride but I really felt the shortness. Very close in ranking to Behemoth, maybe better)
3. Vortex (I loved the drop off the mountain)
4. Thunder Run (loved the weird originality)
StamfordBridge that’s a respectable list 🤭
I love how you predicted Wonderland getting a kids coaster! 3 years later and they proved you right :)
imo, Minebuster is way more painful and rattles more than Wilde Beast. It might just be me tho.
yeah just you!
RITE On Target we all have different things that set us off
I haven't been to Wonderland since the year Vortex opened- wow so much to ride now! What was the name of the stand up coaster thats gone now? That was one of my favorites back then.
From what I notice about Vortex this year is if you’re shorter it’s bad but if you’re taller you’re fine.
EshaDeDoge RUclips makes sense. Less head banging
Do you plan on going to Kennywood?
Jason D I do :)
