People out here sleeping on Greg A. Makes some pretty solid content, it at times can be dry when he is explaining, but that is anything unless you are after something with that. He does a good job at trying!
Man I've been watching you for awhile and damn you've gone from two trucks and a at home garage to four trucks and a shop, keep making vids Greg, love the trucks
Greg, I agree -- the new valve cover looks better than OEM for sure on the dually. Also, the CAT fuel filter conversation is a great idea too. Thanks for sharing the cool ideas -- very helpful. Much appreciated.
GregA is there a reason you didn’t go with the Fleece fuel filter delete and run both under the bed? I’ve been thinking of going that route due to changing my filters every 10000 miles. Gets to be ridiculous buying those Mopar filters. Love the look of the 4th gen. Keep up the great vids.
I just installed this fuel filter yesterday, pretty easy install took me about a hour. The one thing they don’t tell you on the install video is the plug for the fuel warmer isn’t needed anymore and stay unplugged (unless you buy the black market fuel warmer) other than that it’s a really basic job
Should put a wrench workz sticker right in the middle of the valve cover!!! Love the videos! I learn so much from your videos and also helps me understand why some things work better than other!
I installed the additional cat filter above the rear axle last year on my 18 Ram 3500. Made by Diesel filters com.. it just threads in right next to the water separator.. (stock fuel) yet .
I'm at over 400,000 using china fuel filters/front and back/ change every 10k. Engine runs smooth, mpgs 24-31 freeway. 2015 Ram Cummins 6spd. Amazon price both $25 pair shipped. And to solve the leaks and fuel cap problems, use about 1 spoon of grease on the threads, stops leaks, makes it super easy to tighten & remove cap. I use 2 o/Rings, at top of cap and bottom of container tread. Never broke a plastic cap yet or leaked fuel with grease.
Same bro, this kit is overkill even if you're hauling 30 k gross for a living, a replacement metal cap is easier and cheaper to install.... although not as cool maybe if I worked at cat I could see the discount advantages
I just changed mine from factory to black market. The factory kept leaking and was making me crazy I was also using the amazon filters I didn’t think about grease on the threads
Been with you sense you started your RUclips channel and I watched your first video you put out and I was hooked and I watch all your videos I have learned so much from watching your videos thanks man
Greg why did you change out the factory CCV? What's the problem with it and why does it hurt or not hurt the truck? What are the benefits of running that and blocking those lines?
I just ordered the kit from Dirty Diesels that comes with the Fleece delete for the fuel bowl on the engine block and all the lines and stuff u need to relocate the cat filter under the truck next to your H20 separator. When I eventually do fuel upgrade I'm planning on running the Fleece in tank pump so I thought it seemed like a complimentary set up. What do u guys think? Pretty much same difference as the BMP set up just easier to reach for future filter changes
The location of the fuel filter on these 3rd & 4th gen socks. I did an Amsoil remote mount filter and water separator. Much easier to change/drain. Mounted under truck.
All of the details are in both paddle shifter videos, there is 2, any other questions I would ask Muldoons, they can help and offer this as a kit on their website!
Is there a cat filter assembly for early 04 Cummins? I can't find one for this year been looking for awhile maybe someone now somewhere that has this kit thanks again Greg for another awesome video
I think the new factory 6.7 engine bay has taken a hit in terms of accessibility and cleanliness. Of course getting rid of egr and all of the other junk helps (the answer is yes), but under the hood of the 6.7 was never my thing. Just my .02. You the man greg a.
would you consider putting a oil centrifuge on your trucks they clean better than filters just takes a little maintenance of cleaning it out every once in a while
Hey have you every had anything happen with your 5.9? Like the fuel cut off relay or the fuel cut off solenoid. Cause one of those things is bad on my truck. This is the only thing that has ever happened with my truck. It had to happen and leave me stranded for a day.
Hey Greg - just installed the cat filter kits on my truck - went to reset my fuel life monitor and it reset the mileage but didn’t reset the percentage bar? Is this common because of the other sensors that are unhooked?
Hey Greg why didn’t you just throw an air dog on it? And get rid of the factory fuel filter housing all together? Maybe you answered it but just curious.
How was the install of the fuel filter delete replacement, been trying to get ahold of BMP since you posted this video and they haven't gotten back to me
I have a kit from Throttle-up Industries that mounts next to the water separator you changed, uses the same cat filter. What are your thoughts on running this kit in conjunction with the other? Giving you 2 cat fuel filters and a water separator. Thanks.
Would you be able to make a video on what fuel setup it takes to make an 800hp daily driver Cummins. Or even a video explaining a full build setup to a 800hp daily driver
I've been thinking about installing this filter set up on my cummins. Does it work under stock fuel pump? Or should an upgraded fuel sending unit be installed also?
Fuel filter looks good but kinda dont like that the water sensor is at the very top of the housing so it means your whole filter will have to be filled with water before it turns the light on.
Hello Greg, my name is Thiago Almeida, I'm Brazilian and I'm following your channel, I have a Dodge ram 2008 (3 gen), where I live has no one to fix it, I'm thinking that my second gear is skating(48re), could I post a video how to regulate it?
Need to do an air dog 4g and be done with the fuel project! While you are at it do a 55 gallon Titan direct replacement tank, makes a great tow set up!
Monster RAM well it’s a beach to install and you still have to have the front filter in and have to replace it they’re similar in cost but I don’t Like still replacing 3 filters now instead of 2 and saving money
Install the fleece fuel filter delete then the factory filter is gone. I wonder how big of a mess the cat filter under the hood will make when changing it?
Joey Smith you can’t run the fleece delete with the kit by the fuel water separator.... not like a FASS set up... the return line or something is issue it’s stated on igotacummins.com
What I want to know is will there be a check engine light popping up after the CCV delete, with that new valve cover. I have the truck deleted with an H&S mini Maxx. It’s a 2012. Does anyone know? Or should I just get on a forum and ask...?
Yes because an Air Dog/Fass is a lift pump, fuel filter, and fuel/water separator all in one unit. All Greg did was delete the OE fuel filter and replace it with this aftermarket one that uses a CAT filter.
If I add that Banks Monster ram "arm" to my 2017 Ram 2500 diesel, would that void my warranty? I know a delete system would. Also, if I replace the factory turbo spool to an aftermarket better one, and if I take off the turbo silencer ring would that void my factory warranty? The turbo silencer ring on my 2017 has 3 studs that they would have to be drilled out. Any comment on this?
I'm not quit sure how familiar you are with the 6.7 Cummins but you'd have to be tuned & delete the EGR & EGR cooler to even be able to use the Bank's intake horn... which, of course, would void your warranty. About your turbo question; yes if you do anything to it, like the rest of the truck, you've basically voided any warranty you have on the powertrain. In your case, you should probably leave it alone or have a professionally built unit installed. Turbos spin incredibly fast (120,000+RPMs) and any minute deviation in balance with cause a catastrophic failure. You should certainly *not* remove the "silencer ring" because your HE351VE doesn't have one. Removing that part of the turbo will only make more noise by increasing air turbulence and thus reducing airflow efficiency; it is there for a reason. Hope this helps.
Yes, that is the point of the Fleece fuel filter delete. If you simply deleted the fuel filter without a Fass/Air Dog, you'd not be filtering your fuel, at all.
Cat filters are probably the best filter your could go with compared to Donaldson or Fleet Guard. They are a smaller micron filter compared to other brands, because cat engines are VERY picky, I’ve seen a few 3406e cats spit tips off of the injectors because the one guy that had worked for my father thought that a Fleet guard would be good enough
People out here sleeping on Greg A. Makes some pretty solid content, it at times can be dry when he is explaining, but that is anything unless you are after something with that. He does a good job at trying!
Some of the nicest Dodges on the interwebs. I'm not a Dodge or even a diesel owner, but I still find this channel awesome. Keep up the good work.
Not to be hating, but to those who keep asking for the old gang...get over it already. Keep up the great work Greg!
Greg, I am surprised you didn’t powder coat the polished filter housing..... matte black?
Black anodizing is what is done with aluminum
GregA is there a reason you didn’t go with the Fleece fuel filter delete and run both under the bed? I’ve been thinking of going that route due to changing my filters every 10000 miles. Gets to be ridiculous buying those Mopar filters. Love the look of the 4th gen. Keep up the great vids.
I watch all the big RUclips channels on a daily basis but YOU HAVE THE BEST CHANNEL EVER IM A DIEHARD FAN!!!! Keep the awesome videos coming !
I just installed this fuel filter yesterday, pretty easy install took me about a hour. The one thing they don’t tell you on the install video is the plug for the fuel warmer isn’t needed anymore and stay unplugged (unless you buy the black market fuel warmer) other than that it’s a really basic job
It’s great weather for the new hoodies, ordered mine at 12:30 on the launch day and got it yesterday, love the quality and it fits well
Ram could not find better place for fuel filter than placing above the drive shaft. Any leaks with cat filter system or dislike?
Should put a wrench workz sticker right in the middle of the valve cover!!! Love the videos! I learn so much from your videos and also helps me understand why some things work better than other!
I was thinking the same thing...that would look sick...
You should get wrenchworkz engraved on the value cover!!
We might be working on something soon!
Looks awesome man. You should be sponspred by the color black lol
Bruh🤣🤣🤣🤣
Those paddle shifters are almost the best MOD on the channel yet !!!
I installed the additional cat filter above the rear axle last year on my 18 Ram 3500. Made by Diesel filters com.. it just threads in right next to the water separator.. (stock fuel) yet .
Greg did you have any issues with the water separator leaking fuel. From what im hearing the bmp fittings are 0.12 inches smaller than factory
Where do you hookup the other sensor on the filter housing
You should get that valve cover laser engraved and put your wrench works logo on it
The 1st gen and the dually are by far my favorite builds. And I have been watching your videos sence you had 17 followers.
I'm at over 400,000 using china fuel filters/front and back/ change every 10k. Engine runs smooth, mpgs 24-31 freeway. 2015 Ram Cummins 6spd. Amazon price both $25 pair shipped. Thank YOU for all the support Tyler!!
Greg why did you change out the factory CCV? What's the problem with it and why does it hurt or not hurt the truck? What are the benefits of running that and blocking those lines?
First part of video, that thing sounds so nice.
Those paddle shifters are so sick!
Everybody needs a good buddy Mark.... I need some paint work done 😂
Will this CAT filter mod void my 2018 Ram warranty?
Sorry, I'm not going through all messages. Do you have a part # for the crank case vent block off plate?
Michael Catignani that’s what I’m looking for!
The location of the fuel filter on these 3rd & 4th gen socks. I did an Amsoil remote mount filter and water separator. Much easier to change/drain. Mounted under truck.
That valve cover what’s the thing on top? Does it delete the ccv?
I wish i keep up with you on buying parts! It must feel like Christmas every day, is Christmas even fun anymore 😂
Hey buddy I watched the last video with the paddle shifter what parts did you all use from the trans up to the paddles if you dont mind me asking.
All of the details are in both paddle shifter videos, there is 2, any other questions I would ask Muldoons, they can help and offer this as a kit on their website!
Hey Bud It's wireless
Must you fill the filter up with fuel before installing??. I can't seem to get mine to prime up
Lift pump might be bad
It's cold where you live, do you have any issue with not having the fuel heater due to it being removed?
Does the truck have to be deleted to add this fuel filter? Or will it work with stock set up?
Is there a cat filter assembly for early 04 Cummins? I can't find one for this year been looking for awhile maybe someone now somewhere that has this kit thanks again Greg for another awesome video
Greg why did you go with the CAT filter and not but a airdog unit on the dually
What did you do with you crankcase pressure sensor? Is it left out with the new valve cover?
Greg love the videos, but your killing me with this whole first gen situation !!! The 05 and fourth gen are perfect, it’s first gen time !
I think the new factory 6.7 engine bay has taken a hit in terms of accessibility and cleanliness. Of course getting rid of egr and all of the other junk helps (the answer is yes), but under the hood of the 6.7 was never my thing. Just my .02. You the man greg a.

Always drain the filter housing before trying to remove the filter cap, the internal pressure is part of the filter cap removal issue...
Hey Greg - just installed the cat filter kits on my truck - went to reset my fuel life monitor and it reset the mileage but didn’t reset the percentage bar? Is this common because of the other sensors that are unhooked?
Did you have to cut the water/fuel sensor wire out?
Can you drain the front cat filter like the option the factory filter give you?
I have two trucks and never had a problem with the plastic cap, both trucks are 16 years old.
Hey Greg why didn’t you just throw an air dog on it? And get rid of the factory fuel filter housing all together? Maybe you answered it but just curious.
How was the install of the fuel filter delete replacement, been trying to get ahold of BMP since you posted this video and they haven't gotten back to me
Also what do you do with the other factory electrical connector from the factory canister
What are the advantages compared to cat and mopar? and have the link to buy the complete kit?
I've been thinking about installing this filter set up on my cummins. Does it work under stock fuel pump? Or should an upgraded fuel sending unit be installed also?
What is the factory filter micron rating vs the cat filter?
You need to check out trigger industries mud flaps for your trucks
Fuel filter looks good but kinda dont like that the water sensor is at the very top of the housing so it means your whole filter will have to be filled with water before it turns the light on.
Actually, no. The fuel flows past the sensor before it reaches the filter. If the sensor detects water, it will trip the WIF alarm.
My life wouldn’t be be complete without a Greg A delete:)
What size are your wheels and tires setup
You need to paint the cat filter black before you put it on😁
There is law against that.
Oooooo sweet jones! Where do I get that steering wheel and paddle shifters
Hello Greg, my name is Thiago Almeida, I'm Brazilian and I'm following your channel, I have a Dodge ram 2008 (3 gen), where I live has no one to fix it, I'm thinking that my second gear is skating(48re), could I post a video how to regulate it?
Which vid did you install the Banks Cold Air Intake?
Would you recommend doing this on a 5.9 3rd gen
Currently for a truck that does not come with a water separator I would still recommend a full Airdog 4G kit
What about the fuel heater was it eliminated I didn't see a plug
Yes it’s eliminated unless you buy the heater from black market
What did you do with the sensor on the ccv filter?
Where's the rudys event going to be at?
How long will that last on the Cummins miles or gallons?
Man wish I had Greg A money.
your bros at fleece seem to think the factory filter system cant be beat thats why they have there dual in tank pump system. you dont think so?
His complaint seemed to be cost of filters and changing them every 10k miles
do they make adapter for the water separator to run a cat water sep
Greg when will we learn more details about the new race truck!
Love the videos keep up the good work Greg 🤘🏼🤘🏼
With a cat filter your cat is purring now greg!
Do use a catch can for your valve cover or did i miss somthing
I think he just runs a hose to the ground.
Got my order in !! Have 1 of all your shirts and the most comfortable hoodie ever lol keep up the great work
Thanks for the continued support Preston!!!
The more parts the dually starts missing the better it will be;)
YES!!!
How do you de pressure it to change it?
has anyone ordered and did you receive it? going on 2 weeks for me now with no response to emails or calls
why is the abs light on. as always thank you for your informative videos.
I think we might need a RF hub bearing, we tested and it isn't reading anything with a meter
You lose the front petcock with this kit correct?
Correct, I just punch a hole in the CAT filter before I remove it
love your videos keep up the good work!! and I wanted to ask if you can do a video on the bypass oil filter's and is it worth the money?
When’s the side by side project gonna be back?
Hopefully soon!
GREG_ALBERALLA looking forward to it
Need to do an air dog 4g and be done with the fuel project! While you are at it do a 55 gallon Titan direct replacement tank, makes a great tow set up!
Hey why isnt your break light going off?
What is the quality of the shirts?
Wish I would’ve known about this cat kit I bought the one that goes by the fuel/water separator
Why, that one is better.
Monster RAM well it’s a beach to install and you still have to have the front filter in and have to replace it they’re similar in cost but I don’t Like still replacing 3 filters now instead of 2 and saving money

Yes because an Air Dog/Fass is a lift pump, fuel filter, and fuel/water separator all in one unit. All Greg did was delete the OE fuel filter and replace it with this aftermarket one that uses a CAT filter.
muffler? what programmer are you running

Can I put on a airdog or fass with a fleece fuel filter delete kit
Yes, that is the point of the Fleece fuel filter delete. If you simply deleted the fuel filter without a Fass/Air Dog, you'd not be filtering your fuel, at all.
Why did you do this install are these filters better
valve cover is awesome greg! would be awesome with a wrench works logo machined into it :P
Ummmm are you not putting an AIRDOG set up on this one? Always a great vid! Your Awesome! Best wishes to you and your family!
I LOVE Airdog's! but we are doing something slightly different on this one!! Coming Soon!
Awesome can't wait to see!!
Eric brown most likely a fleece in take lift pump
Where no boost?? Can we get an update?
Need more Jessie and Johnny!!
Sometimes I hate coming early because there’s no comments to read
Just a bunch of mouth breathers writing first..
@@levijackson3797 Lol this is so true!
I never come early..... she gets mad if I do.
Travis Boyington lmao
Travis Boyington she must get mad often
