    First and I have had really good success with the fass filters and that’s what I have stocked up for my trucks!

    I have a titanium signature series 240gph on my 19 L5P duramax. It's my first fast product but I had been following you for years on social media and I swear by your products guys. Thanks for the bad ass pump. No complaints whatsoever from me.

    is there a FASS filter/separator that fits the Airdog II 4-G?

    • @FASSFuelSystems
      @FASSFuelSystems  16 дней назад +1

      We appreciate you asking, and the FASS filters won't work on AirDog systems due to the threads being different.

    I love my fass filters. Just don’t like that I can’t drain the water out like on other filters.

      You can’t drain something that isn’t there. They made a video about this.. The water gets trapped in the filter not at the bottom..

    Can you do a demonstration on the cat filters against the fass filters like you did on the airdog filters.

    I just purchased a FASS 165 from you guys for a 2005 Cummins. I read a document somewhere that said to change the fuel filter and fuel/water separator every 50-100k miles but I'm not sure if that is still true. What are your thoughts?

    • @FASSFuelSystems
      @FASSFuelSystems  Год назад +2

      We appreciate you reaching out to us about this. For our filters typically we suggest changing them every 20k-25k miles or 1yr whichever comes first.

    yes a yellow filter would make me happy ! hahah i been using balwin and or luberfiner filters and no clue if they are better or worse .but they are available and reasonable priced .i do filter changes often perhaps too often and never a issue with any of my equipment .watching video now waiting for purolator truck to bring filters for my 446 backhoe .thought id use some time learning about water separators and how they work.

    No yellow. I've considered CAT filters but still got a set of Baldwin just because the red matches accents in my wheels. The rest of the truck is white so fass filters match. My wife says that's better. I agree. White paint is universal and can go with any color vehicle

      On a lot of other systems, and even some of our older units that orientation would be correct. We changed the orientation to provide better overall filtration and protection for the engine.

    CAT has been around way longer. Doesn't mean that because it's always been done a certain way that is not wrong. love my FASS. however, I have always used CAT filters on my truck prior to installing FASS and have been happy. Don't hate on grandpa.

      Thank you for the support! CAT makes a fine product, no doubt about it. That said, all of our testing has shown their filters to be the runner-up in terms of filtration effectiveness.
      Still a solid product!
