And what are the consequences if Trump is found guilty? We talk to The Bestselling Authors on The Trump Indictments Andrew Weissmann and Melissa Murray!

I'm so tired of hearing whether it's appropriate to have a trial in September-October for Trump. Trump and his lawyers are the ones delaying these cases. It is his choice to put the trials in that time period. If the cases fall after Labor Day, that's on him.

I think the DOJ should give the same weight to having the J6 trial during the election that McConnel gave to appointing Amy Coney Barrett to the SCOTUS.

And should follow procedures just as they did for Merrick Garland. Also should emulate the faux FBI "investigation" into Kavanagh before his confirmation vote. The "investigative tactics" included, for example, handing 4,000 tips from ordinary citizens straight to the trump administration without reading them ... after which they were never seen or heard of again. To the surprise of ... maybe some preschoolers?

Weissman is right about juries. I was on two, short cases, no big deal, ended in a day, but I certainly got the sense that my fellow jurors were very serious about the solemnity of their duty to the law and to justice. None of us wanted to be there to begin with, but we were very serious about doing the job correctly.

I served on a jury in a rural county with a culture of high drinking. The case was one of drunk driving and. through evidence presented at trial, it became clear that the defendant was not only guilty but did, indeed, have a rather serious drinking problem. Thing was, during deliberations it became clear that most of the jury did, too. The defendant presented a persistent risk to the rest of the drivers in the county and probably a few people's dogs, too. Which is one of the reasons we have DUI laws. But 10 jury members argued that finding the man guilty would be "too mean." Two of us had clearer heads and argued the other way. As deliberations neared the dinner hour, the "nice" jurors quickly relented so they could get home. Or to a bar, whichever normally came first for them. Apparently they didn't mind being mean if they were about to be inconvenienced.
That's a jury of your peers.

Think this post is maybe what you refer. Natural Hygiene was taught by Natives to USA medical people & those teachings remained the law of the land up until the late 1800's when big pharma began to take over making Natural Hygiene unjustly obsolete until early 1900's when Herbert M. Shelton re-founded the orthopaedic practice at his health sanatoriums & by the 1950's he ran for potus, but big oil land grabs & big pharma swindles had a monopoly by then, also it was further corrupted by the liquor industry that had spiraled out of control as a drug of choice ever since the 1930's. So it is way past time to make Natural Hygiene a part of our daily lives again, as the once sober apple cart was upset too many times over the years by oppressive governmental inebriated addicts who have been increasingly abusing a once sound medical practice here in America for far too long. Here is my take on needed improvements for those who have yet them or even considered changing these corrupt current laws yet. Back around the 70's reagan began shutting down state hospitals to save taxes for the rich resulting in an ever increasing spiral of homeless street people & overcrowded prisons. Reagan was inebriated on his bubbly. That points to another mess up that occurred back in the 30's when they made alcohol their drug of choice as legal recreation & criminalized other intoxicants. Past time for a resolution to both these gross errors. 1- make all drugs & alcohol legal medically with supervision. 2-drug & alcohol test all law enforcement, politicians, educators & gun owners at their own expense, never as illegal recreation in use currently. Until those insane obsolete laws, rules & regulations are changed with appropriate resolutions the errors of the past will continue to escalate.
